Prophecy Update: Temple, Russia, and Compromise! 12/9/2021
Christians are waiting for two temples in the last days. The temples are seven years apart. The first one built for the tribulation period that is seven years long. The second temple, according to Zechariah 6, built by Jesus for the Kingdom age, one thousand years!
“Then say to him, ‘Thus says the LORD of hosts, “Behold, a man whose name is Branch, for He will branch out from where He is; and He will build the temple of the LORD. “Yes, it is He who will build the temple of the LORD, and He who will bear the honor and sit and rule on His throne. Thus, He will be a priest on His throne, and the counsel of peace will be between the two offices.”
Zechariah 6:12-13
According to our passage, it is clear that Jesus is the branch. He comes from David, whom is called the shoot and branch of Jesse. Jesse is the father of David and the Bible uses this language to refer to Jesus. Our passage also says that He the Messiah will build the temple. It is important to note that Jesus will bring together the priesthood and the kingship in one office. When Jesus comes back and builds the Temple of the Lord, He will rule on His throne in Jerusalem! This is why the world and Satan want to destroy Israel. They do not want the temple built. They will do whatever they can to destroy what God is building. Here is how they are resisting.
Last week the UN voted again on resolutions denying that Jews have any ties to the land or to the Temple Mount.
“Nineteen countries dropped their support for a resolution at the United Nations on Wednesday that ignores Jewish ties to the Temple Mount holy site. The resolution pertaining to Jerusalem was one of three that make up what has become known as the “Palestinian Package” — varied versions of which are passed by the UN General Assembly every year. The Temple Mount is where the Al Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock stand. Many Muslims do not want Christians or Jews to come up to the Temple Mount. This is an ongoing tension since 1967. Here is an interesting article about how the Vatican is assisting the Palestinian cause.

When Renee and I visited Rome in 2018, I was fascinated by how many things I saw that gives testimony to the truth of Scripture. Especially fascinating to me is the Arch of Titus. It is still there after almost 2000 years.

In history, the story goes that the Catholics have kept the Temple articles through the centuries and refuse to give them back. The Catholics say they do not have them. Therefore, it continues to be a controversy because the popes have been so anti-Semitic. The teaching of replacement theology dominates the Catholic system of belief. Then there are stories like this:

Stories like this persist because the Roman Catholics do not recognize Israel as a nation or Jerusalem as being their capital city.

The history of the Catholic Church shows us that its teachers believed that the Church replaced Israel, the priests replaced the Levitical priesthood, and that the kingdom of God would come through Catholics based in Rome. Although the church currently denies replacement theology, the history and practice of the church says something else.
“The Vatican receives hundreds of letters every year from Jews and non-Jews requesting the vessels be returned to the Jewish People. Though the Vatican responds there is no proof of the Temple vessels being in their possession, requests for their return continue. In a meeting with Pope John Paul II in 1996, Shimon Shitrit, then the Israeli Minister of Religious Affairs requested the Vatican’s aid in searching for the Temple vessels as “a goodwill gesture”. Israel will build the temple that is for sure because bible prophecy says it will happen. It is as sure as the sun coming up. It is also sure that Russia will get stronger and stronger so that they can get a hook in the jaw, God will drag them down to Israel to be destroyed. They come with Iran, Turkey, and several other nations. I believe that before they come against Israel, Israel also will grow stronger. That is not happening right now in Israel. The coming backlash in Israel will result in Israel gaining sovereignty over Judea and Samaria.
That brings me to Russia and America. The current government of Israel is in the hip pocket of the Democrats in Washington. As Washington becomes more and more anti-Semitic, Israel continues to link their future to Washington. Israel is beholden to the democrats because they were instrumental in bringing down the Netanyahu government. Netanyahu stood up to Obama and recognized that he could not subjugate Israel foreign policy to the demented pro-Iranian view of Washington D.C. Israel acted in its own best interested and reached out to Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Egypt to form an alliance against the USA Iranian alliance. This infuriated the likes of Biden, Obama, and Clinton.
Russia is in league with Iran against the USA and therefore against Israel. The question for the Israeli’s rests on the ability to act in their own best interest as the threats against their existence grows in Iran and the USA. President Trump was dead set on bringing down the Palestinian Authority and the Iranian regime but faced a Pentagon and CIA that were loyal to the Obama vision of empowering Iran. For years, the Iranian people have been asking Israel and the USA to help them get access to the internet so that they can let the world know what it is really like under the demented Shiite government. Ayatollah Khamenei has total control over the internet in the country, limiting access to the outside world. The Iranian people are abused and beaten down. Neither Israel nor America has the will to provide the Iranian people with access to the web. Passive behavior has emboldened the Iranians and the Russians to prepare for the fulfillment of the Gog Magog prophecy!

Our Pentagon resisted everything that Trump wanted to do because they hate the biblical worldview. It is clear that Trump was denied his vision because God was at work behind the scenes, judging America, moving the nations forward toward Biblical prophecy! Trump put sanctions on Iran, stopped the Iranian deal, and stood against the evil of the regime. Today, the Biden Administration sits down with the Iranians, the Iranians will not sit in the same room with them, demand billions of dollars, and Biden proudly sits down with them because he is a pacifist. This administration is full of do gooders, believing that appeasing evil is righteous. It is the same false belief that pushes school teachers to tell little boys that their girls, that immorality is good, and that you can have a good life only if you’re a globalist.

Go take a look at this thing, it is totally bizarre. I will finish this update with the admonition to pray. Pray for the peace of Israel, pray for the believers who live in Ukraine and Russia.
