Prophecy Update: Heating Up 9/11/24
The Middle East is a powder keg because of Biblical prophecy. Prophecy is the supernatural work of God to tell you what is going to happen in the future. Those who live in the glory of God in prophecy are those who have faith that is great. Faith that questions and fears the future is not rooted in the promises of God or the personal work of the Spirit. The promise of God regarding Israel and the Gentile nations is given in Luke:
“and they will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be led captive into all the nations; and Jerusalem will be trampled under foot by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.”
Luke 21:24
God told us that the Gentile nations will gain sovereignty over Jerusalem and not relinquish that sovereignty until they are forced to. The times of the Gentiles began in 586 B.C. when Nebuchadnezzar King of Babylon conquered Jerusalem and destroyed the Temple. Since that time the land of Israel was under the sovereignty of other nations. When Jesus made this proclamation, He said it while the nation was under the sovereignty of Rome. This was prophesied in the book of Daniel. Jesus then predicted the destruction of the second temple and the final dispersion of the Jews into all the nations.
At the center of the last days prophecies are specific details given about the Gentile nations and Israel. When God reestablishes Israel as a nation with Jerusalem as its capital, all Gentile nations will rise to oppose the work of God. Daniel and Joel give us some insight into what God is doing:
“Now at that time Michael, the great prince who stands guard over the sons of your people, will arise. And there will be a time of distress such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time; and at that time your people, everyone who is found written in the book, will be rescued.” Daniel 12:1
“For behold, in those days and at that time, When I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat. Then I will enter into judgment with them there on behalf of My people and My inheritance, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; And they have divided up My land.” Joel 3:1-2
From these two verses we learn that God is angry with the Gentile nations because they have divided up the land of Israel, they have gone to war with Israel, and they will face the great tribulation. The time of distress is seven years long with Israel at the forefront of international pressure. As the nation’s attack Israel under the leadership of Antichrist, God will protect, confirm, and fulfill His promises regarding Israel for the blessing of the world. The nations are truly deceived thinking that Israel is there to curse them instead of blessing them. God promised that He would bless the whole world through the descendants of Abraham! Satan is dividing the land of Israel and killing Jews because he knows that we are at the time in history that God is fulfilling His end time prophecies!
In 1948 God began the process of restoring the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem. The nation of Israel was less then 24 hours old when Arab nations, all part of the Organization of Islamic Countries, attacked Israel to drive them into the sea. This war lasted into 1949, and Israel won the war. Three years after the holocaust, the Jews limp back into the land of Israel, take less than 10% of the land promised to them by God, and the land begins producing fruit and vegetables on a massive scale. Satan could not deal a knockout blow to Gods plan during the holocaust, he failed his first attempt to wipe Israel off the map, and he has tried many times since, all failures! That brings me to Satan’s current attack on Israel:
“PA wants UN to order removal of 500,000 Jews from Judea and Samaria: The resolution is expected to be brought to a vote at the U.N. General Assembly, which is scheduled to open on Sept. 10. The Palestinian Authority is circulating a draft resolution asking the United Nations General Assembly to urge Israel to withdraw from Judea and Samaria and remove some 500,000 Israeli citizens living in the territory within six months. In addition to demanding an end to Israel’s civilian and military presence, the draft text urges U.N. member states to impose sanctions on officials in Jerusalem, banning trade with Jewish businesses in Judea and Samaria and blocking weapons sales to Israel if they might be used in the area.” https://www.jns.org/
The United Nations began operation in 1945 replacing the League of Nations which was a complete failure. In 1947 the UN passed a resolution calling for a two-state solution to the Jewish problem. Jews would get their own State, and Arabs would get a State which would basically be Jordan and the West Bank. The Arab states rejected this proposal and the Jews did not. It has been war and tension ever since. 1948 is the red-letter date for God restarting the prophetic clock! Currently, Iran and her proxies, backed by many Islamic groups, are at war with Israel trying to diplomatically and militarily wipe Israel from the map. Fatah is the terrorist military wing of the Palestinian Authority in which Mahmoud Abbas is its current president.
The war in Gaza is winding down because Israel has all but wiped out most of Hamas. The problem is that the USA wants Hamas to survive, the PA to rule the Gaza Strip, and they want to protect the criminal activity they have committed against Israel with Egypt.
“There is bitter irony underlying the raging debate about whether Israel should hold on to the Philadelphi Corridor at the southern end of Gaza even at the expense of a possible hostage deal with Hamas. It was, after all, precisely 19 years ago this month, on September 12, 2005, that the IDF withdrew from Philadelphi, thereby capping off the Israeli retreat from the Gaza Strip. That disastrous move, in defiance of strategic logic as well as common sense, set the stage for the traumatic series of events that have enveloped the Jewish state since Oct. 7.” https://www.jpost.com/
Israel disobeyed God and listened to George Bush and Condoleezza Rice to divide the land of Israel and give Gaza to Hamas. That sin is being exposed in the stupidity of Israel putting up with Hamas for nearly 20 years. Like in the book of Judges, Israel is crying out for God to deliver them. God will!
“And yet here we are, just three months after Israeli troops resumed control over the Philadeliphi Corridor, and the government is coming under heavy criticism for insisting on retaining it. As Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pointed out in his press conference this past Monday with assistance from some maps as visual aids, the 14-km. strip of land separating Gaza and Egypt is critical to ensuring that Hamas can never again rise from the ashes.
Netanyahu rightly highlighted the fact that the 2005 Israeli withdrawal from the corridor resulted in a “massive introduction of weapons, munitions, machines for producing weapons, and machines for digging tunnels – all sponsored by Iran, directed by Iran, financed by Iran.” https://www.jpost.com/
Most of the financing was a scheme concocted with Egypt, the EU, UN, and the USA. All provided money and arms to kill Jews. Egypt has made a lot of money off this corridor and they do not want to give it up.
“The Philadelphi corridor is a strip — only 100 meters (yards) wide in some places— that runs the 14-kilometer (8.6-mile) length of the Gaza side of the border with Egypt. It includes the Rafah crossing, which was Gaza’s only outlet to the outside world not controlled by Israel until the army captured the entire corridor in May.
Israel says Hamas used a vast network of tunnels beneath the border to import arms, allowing it to build up the military machine it deployed on Oct. 7. The military says it has found and destroyed dozens of tunnels since seizing the corridor.
At a news conference on Monday, Netanyahu pointed to a map of the region depicting weapons flowing into Gaza from across the border, saying the corridor provided “oxygen” for Hamas.
Egypt released a statement Tuesday rejecting Netanyahu’s allegations, saying they misled the Israeli public and obstructed cease-fire efforts. Egypt says it destroyed hundreds of tunnels on its side of the border years ago and set up a military buffer zone of its own that prevents smuggling.” https://www.jpost.com/
“It turns out that the Egyptians have been playing a double game.” Israel has uncovered 180 tunnels under the Philadelphi Corridor, Gaza’s strategic border with Sinai. Observers say those tunnels served as 24-hour weapons supply lines for Hamas, not just under the watchful eyes of Egypt, but with its willing assistance. “Now it turns out that the Egyptians have been playing a double game,” Ben Menachem told JNS. “They’ve been letting Hamas smuggle weapons for many years, especially after [Egyptian President] Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi came to power 10 years ago,” he said. Smuggling is big business for the Egyptians, a multibillion-dollar industry. Mahmoud el-Sisi, the president’s son and deputy head of the Egyptian General Intelligence Directorate, is heavily involved, having partnered with businessman Ibrahim al-Organi. A Le Monde profile in May reported that al-Organi has controlled entries and exits across the border for a decade. He is nicknamed the “King of the Rafah crossing.” When current Hamas paramount leader Yahya Sinwar was elected the organization’s Gaza chief in 2017, Cairo saw an opportunity. Egyptian intelligence head Abbas Kamel visited Gaza and cut a deal with Hamas. The latter agreed to stop attacking Egypt in exchange for the opening of the Rafah crossing 24 hours a day. “Egypt opened the Arab world to them,” Ben Menachem said.” https://www.jns.org/
“More disturbing, Cairo is conducting war exercises whose clear purpose is to take on Israel. Egypt is also building a huge army, “the most powerful around us,” Avivi said.
Egypt is also constructing tunnels. They cross under the Suez Canal into Sinai. It’s also built 30 bridges spanning the canal. “The Egyptians already deploy a huge amount of tanks near the Gazan border, which is completely against the peace agreement,” Avivi said.” https://www.jns.org/
The scriptures are very clear that Egypt is going to have war with Israel in the future. God is going to destroy Egypt according to Isaiah 19. Even now, Egypt is turning against the peace deal they signed in 1979. Add it up in your head? The Muslim Brotherhood resides in Egypt and started Hamas many years ago to destroy Israel. Hamas is funded by Iran and the Muslim Brotherhood! The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Egypt is no friend of Israel! Current polls in Jordan and Egypt show that over 90% of people in those countries want to destroy Israel. How can there be peace between those countries? The peace deals are fiction and both Jordan and Egypt will join the fight to destroy Israel. The Palestinian Authority is also very committed to destroying Israel. They live in Judea and Samaria. God is getting ready to give these territories back to Israel.
God is going to keep His promises to Israel because He never breaks His promises.
