Prophecy Update: Oct.25, 2018
I want to write to you about the movement to put a microchip in every human being on the planet. I have not written on this subject in quite a while. I was intrigued by this headline: CBN News reported this week, “Why Implanted Microchips in Humans Could Go Mainstream Sooner than Later.”
“Experts admit that, so far, getting humans to adopt microchip implants has been a tough sell. Many Christians reject them because of concern they could be a prelude to “the mark of the Beast” which Revelation chapter 13 says will be “a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads.”
I wrote on this subject several years ago when the Obama Administration tried to push having every American chipped for health and bank information. This was not successful but the people invested in this happening have not given up. I thought that this was an important insight in the article:
“Besides being vulnerable to hackers, a chip implanted in your body means, “They could track where you are, how long you take for lunch every day, or how many times you went to the bathroom if the chip were scanned by a reader,” Futurism writes. “And opting out of this kind of data collection is a lot more convoluted when you’ve got a chip implanted in your bodily tissues. If you want to go off the grid in even the smallest way, you can leave your wallet at home, but removing a microchip requires a bit more, uh, effort.”
I thought this insight was important because the future anti-Christ will want to track everyone, not just for money but also to keep tabs on everyone. The precursor to being chipped is the ability to track everyone in the society. Our cell phones already act as trackers. In popular TV shows like NCIS, one of my favorites, McGee can track anyone by hacking into their phones. Earlier this year there was a report about the way China was tracking all of their citizens. Newsmax: “China’s Big-Brother Social Credit System Could Work in US.” China’s development of a nationwide tracking system to rate the reputations of individuals, businesses and even government officials could spread to the West and change the lives of many for years to come, The Atlantic reports.
‘The Chinese government plans to launch its Social Credit System in 2020. The aim is to judge the trustworthiness of the country’s 1.3 billion residents by monitoring and evaluating their purchases, who their friends are, how much time they spend watching TV or playing video games, what bills and taxes they pay (or don’t) and where they are at any given time.’
This program is already being used to arrest those who do not hold to views that are government approved. Many church leaders have been arrested in China because of this new system. This is the type of system the anti-Christ will eventually use. One more proof that we live in the last days. Just the fact that we have the ability to track our citizens and give them a score based on their beliefs and what they read is Orwellian! The article goes on to say:
Mimicking the project in the West would be easy since technology continues to become a bigger part of our lives. “It would be remarkably easy to achieve. It’s just a matter of making explicit the determinations that already go into credit scores — of binding together the data brokerages that even now siphon up public records, social-media profiles, web searches, and similar digital traces of life here in the West, and making our rights and privileges as city dwellers and citizens contingent on what they infer from our behavior,” writes Greenfield.
This desire to track everyone in society was used in Hitlers Germany. I have thought in the past that what Hitler did in his country was a microcosm of what the future anti-Christ will do with better technology. Edwin Black wrote a book called IBM and the Holocaust which detailed how the Hollerith system developed by IBM was used by Hitler to track everyone in Germany. This was the early days of a type of computer system. “This system was used to help create enabling technologies step by step from the identification and cataloguing programs of the 1930’s and 1940’s.” In the book, Black takes on not just IBM itself but also its legendary founder and longtime chairman, Thomas J. Watson, Sr., who Black says “admired the whole concept of Fascism” and engaged in “micromanagement from afar” as “IBM placed its technology at the disposal of Hitler’s program of Jewish destruction and territorial domination.”
Watson was the chairman of IBM and the new IBM system used today is called Watson. It scares me a little that this same name that was part of the holocaust is now used extensively in tracking programs today. Only today it is a multiple amount of companies that are involved in this tracking technology.
India Launches Mark of the Beast Technology in Revelation, was the headline in April. India launched the ADVAR system that is a system in India they are scanning the fingerprints, eyes and faces of its 1.3 billion residents and connecting the data to everything from welfare benefits to mobile phones.
“Civil libertarians are horrified, viewing the program, called Aadhaar, as Orwell’s Big Brother brought to life. For other countries, the technology could provide a model for how to track their residents. The government has made registration mandatory for hundreds of public services and many private ones, from taking school exams to opening bank accounts.”
Now here is the point I want to make. The two largest populations in the world are China and India. Those two countries have 2.5 billion people who are now under state tracking technology. These states are the beginnings of what the Anti-Christ will do in the future. Most of the rest of us are using technology that can be tracked by those who have the time and wish to do it. Consider this quote abut India:
“No one has approached that scale and that ambition,” said Jacqueline Bhabha, a professor and research director of Harvard’s FXB Center for Health and Human Rights, who has studied biometric ID systems around the world. “It has been hailed, and justifiably so, as an extraordinary triumph to get everyone registered.”
I think that this system is coming to America, how soon, I do not know. But consider this quote: ‘Although microchip implantation might be introduced as a voluntary procedure, in time, there will be pressure to make it mandatory. A national identification system via microchip implants could be achieved in two stages. Upon introduction as a voluntary system, the microchip implantation will appear to be palatable. After there is a familiarity with the procedure and a knowledge of its benefits, implantation would be mandatory. -Dr. Elaine M. Ramesh, patent attorney for Franklin Pierce Law Center.’
The technology for this system is in place, governments around the world are implementing forerunners of what anti-Christ will use, the next step for America is to have a government that will demand that we take a chip.
I work with college students and they are used to technologies that make their lives easier. It is the temptation of having everything easier that I believe will move the younger generation to accept microchips before my age group. I learned that our own government wished to do this already. The election of Donald Trump derailed plans to chip every American. Here is a quote from 2016,
“Yet how many know a plan exists for widespread adoption of human microchipping beginning in the year 2017? While testimony has been given that safeguards are in place to ensure privacy in connection with implantable biometric identification, some believe confidentiality is the last thing internal radio transmitters will protect; that in fact the plan to microchip humanity smacks of the biblical mark of the Beast.”
When a different government comes into office, America may be forced to take the mark. Will you be chipped even before the rise of Anti-Christ? I would encourage you to reject any move toward putting anything in your body that can be used by Satan for his future plans for the world. The anti-Christ is not in power yet, but much of what he will use in the future is already here. Pray that we can have the discernment to reject all that he has planned for the world.
Remember I John 3:1,” See how great a love the Father has for us that we should be called the children of God, and such we are. The reason the world does not know us is because it does not know Him.” Christian, the Lord loves you with a great love. Do not let technology become an idol in your life. It is insidious, dangerous, and appealing. Cling to the love of God this week!
