Prophecy Update: Prophets speak about reestablishing the state of Israel 6/15/19
I have been meditating on the scriptures that teach about Israel becoming a nation again. There are two main parts to this return to the land. The time before the Day of the Lord which is a time of planting the seeds of the promise. This is a time of growth, pulling weeds and bearing fruit. The second part is the Day of the Lord when the nations fulfill their hatred that was evident and working to keep the Jews out of the land in the first part of the fulfillment. The Day of the Lord will lead to the salvation of Israel and the judgment of the nations. It will usher in the Kingdom of Messiah Jesus on the earth. I will give the scripture verses, and comment on them, you will have to look up the verses. I hope this will increase your faith in God and teach you the promises of God.
Isaiah 62:1-7 This is a passage that I have been praying for 25 years. I joined the Jerusalem Prayer Team 25 years ago and have not stopped praying this prayer. It is about God reestablishing Jerusalem as the spiritual and political center for the whole earth. The Jews will marry the land and God will make Jerusalem His capital on the earth once again. Everything that has happened since 1948 has been setting up this prophecy, God even made several nations declare that Jerusalem is the eternal capital of Israel. Moldavia was the latest country to move their embassy which they announced yesterday. 6/12/19
Jeremiah 30:1-7, 31:10. God tells us that He will restore the fortunes of Israel. It is happening, especially the last ten years. Israel is rich and powerful, a result of the blessing of God. When this is happening, the Day of the Lord is going to take place. In this passage God calls it ‘the time of Jacobs trouble.’ The current tension in the land with the nations, Palestinians, Iranians, are all setting up wars and the time of Jacobs trouble. Believers like myself have been reminding the nation that God is gathering Israel like a shepherd who keeps His flocks—the nation is not listening!
Ezekiel 36:1-21, God is very clear in this passage that the nations are gloating over possessing the land of Israel. God calls this land His land and He promises to give it to His covenant people, Israel. God also promises to punish all of the nations who appropriated the land for themselves. That includes the Palestinian authority who is pushing war against Israel this very moment. The key word is: ‘mountains of Israel,’ these mountains are called the West Bank by those who have appropriated Gods land for themselves. The world is standing with the Palestinians and the two state solution. Those who push the two state position are appropriating the land of Israel for the Palestinians. The land is called Judea/Samaria by those who know the Bible. Our government is agreeing that Israel can annex part of the land for themselves. God says He will give it all to Israel. This is the current tension we are in!
Daniel 9:20-27, 12:1, This is a very important passage. It lays out the timing of what is happening from Israel point of view. Israel is going to face a seven year period when antichrist will make a firm covenant for seven years. We are in the time before this prophecy being fulfilled. A time of distress like no other time in history.
Hosea 14:4-7, We live in a time when many in churches say that God does not love the Jews and will not fulfill His promises to them. This passage begs to differ—God promises to heal, love, and bless their land again. Israel will take root He says, this happened in 1948 and has consistently grew for 71 years.
Joel 3:1-3, 20-21, This passage is very clear. God is going to punish the nations for how they treated Israel. Russia, England, Germany, France, all of the Muslim nations should repent now before this day comes because it will be very bad! Two sins are highlighted, scattering Israel and dividing up the land. Our own presidents have committed this sin. The promise to us is that Judah will be inhabited forever and God will avenge the blood of His people Jews. The Holocaust will be paid for!!
Amos 9:13-15, This is one of my favorite passages regarding Israel. It is very clear, short, and to the point. The land will flourish, be restored, and rebuilt. God promises that He will plant Israel in her land and they will never be uprooted again. Take that UN! Take that Palestinian Authority! Take that Iran! Planting, cultivating, and bearing fruit are the hallmarks of what has been happening the last 71 years in Israel. The settlements in Judea Samaria are testimony of this and 60% of the West Bank is inhabited by Jews. Soon, it will be 100% because the God of prophecy is never wrong and never lies! Ambassador Friedman said in Israel this week that Israel has the right to annex parts of Judea and Samaria, for that the Palestinian Authority want to bring him up on war crimes!
Micah 7:14-20, God promises to shower His love on His people Israel. When He gives the land back to Israel it is a fulfillment of His promises and love!
Zephaniah 3:14-20, God promises to be among His people Israel when He gives them their land and He fights for them. God will be called the victorious warrior among His people. The question comes in this passage: do you grieve about the appointed feasts? The feasts of the Lord are prophetic and are being fulfilled in true history. We are in the feast of Pentecost at the moment and I celebrate what God did at that time; God gave Moses His law, gave them their food, and began fulfilling this feast at the time of the Holy Spirit coming down in Acts 2. It will be fulfilled in a unique way when God fulfills the New Covenant for Israel in the future. God says in this passage that He will deal with Israel’s oppressors and it will cover all of the earth. Many of the prophecies say that this will cover the whole earth. The judgments of Revelation cover the whole earth. So there is a connection between this passage and Revelation.
Haggai 2:6-9, God is going to rebuild the Temple and fill it with His glory. The nations will be judged and their wealth will come to Jerusalem under our King Jesus! The whole earth at that time, the time of the Millennium kingdom, peace will reign.
Zechariah 12:1-3, Ch.14-God is even now causing the nations to lose their minds regarding Jerusalem. No other city causes more division then Jerusalem. Eventually, every nation will listen to Satan and fight over Jerusalem and the land of Israel. They will lose and Jesus will set up His kingdom. Today, the UN and the International Criminal Court are working to force Israel and the Unted States to give up half of Jerusalem to the Palestinians. That will never happen without war—the war of Armageddon. You see, this tension today will carry on all the way to the end of the Tribulation period.
Daniel 2+7—God describes the whole period of the “Times of the Gentiles.” The last empire is the one we see rising. It will come in a time of war when antichrist initiates a war according to Revelation 6+ Daniel 7:23, “Thus He said, the fourth beast will be a fourth kingdom on the earth which will be different from all the other kingdoms and will devour the whole earth and tread it down and crush it.”
Why does this kingdom have to devour, crush, tread it down? Maybe because the world is resisting a one world government. That describes our day!!
The nations will control part of Jerusalem until God removes the church in the rapture and then the battle for Jerusalem is on for good. The last 7 years will have increasing tension until war comes. Today the tension is already building towards Israel building the temple as they exercise sovereignty over the city. The fact that Israel exercises sovereignty enrages Satan and his minions. Israel routinely tells the UN to take a hike. We live in the time of the rise of the one world government, one world currency, and amazing technologies to pull off such a thing. What is next? Something will happen in the world to cause it to institute a one world government. I think the rapture is the most logical event.
Antisemitism is at an all time high in the world. During Jerusalem Day, I watched the marches in the key capital cities of the world and the signs and chants were despicable. They were all like Nazi marches in the 1930’s crying for the death of Jews. The European nations should be ashamed of themselves; America should wake up to the Jew haters in our country. Christians have a great deal of responsibility to stand against this sin in our culture. Because of this, I want to start a class on the prophetic nature of the nation of Israel.
