God gives promises and never breaks them. Living by the promises of God brings stability to life. God promises life, peace, resources, vision, purpose, and accomplishments to the one who pleads and lives by those promises. When you live by the flesh, you can be sure that every promise will be broken. Our leaders in America have committed a great sin against the people of Ukraine. They promised to protect them and failed to do so.

God made promises to Israel that He will never break. When the Babylonians invaded the land, it disheartened and confused Israel. God gave the promise to Haggai that He would never break His promises. Men and nations break promises because they are sinful!

Many in Ukraine feel it was a mistake to sign the Budapest Memorandum because the USA and Britain have done nothing to protect Russia from invading them. The USA will say that they gave them weapons and never guaranteed their security.

Giving assurances should mean that you will do what you say. Here is the definition I found in the dictionary for assurance: “a positive declaration intended to give confidence; a promise.” Assurances mean that the USA should have defended the territorial integrity of Ukraine. It broke its promise. I believe that the US could not fulfill these promises so why make them? They made them because they feared Ukraine having so many nukes. Russia had the codes and hardware that prevented Ukraine from ever using the nukes. So why so much fear? Because Ukraine was sure that they could figure out how to get around the security measures the Soviets put on their nukes.
War is a result of several factors coming together at the same time. Those factors include, vision, worldview, resources, wants and desires. Psalm 2 says that people are devising vain things that lead to war. This is the case today in several spheres of influence including China vs. Taiwan, Russia vs. NATO, Iran vs. Israel, and there are many more.
Two big mistakes were made since the end of the cold war and the fall of the Soviet Union. First, the USA did not make friends with Russia and secondly, foreign policy experts forgot to keep Russia and China apart. As Russia takes over Ukraine, will China take the opportunity to invade Taiwan. The message sent from the USA is that they will not keep their promises to protect. The US is in a very weak position to defend NATO let alone Taiwan.

I have spoken in previous updates about the history of NATO and the master plan Putin had to divide NATO. The Ukraine situation has enlightened everyone on just how weak NATO has become. Russia does not fear NATO nor respects them. One big reason is that the west does not understand the fight within Ukraine. Ukraine has a big problem with internal divisions between the neo Nazis, the independents, the nationalists, and the Russian citizens living within Ukraine. President Zelensky favors the World Economic Forum and believes the globalists favor him.

Their emblem, which Azov soldiers wear on their uniforms feature a ‘Wolfsangel’ and ‘Black Sun,’ two symbols associated with Nazi Germany and neo-Nazi’s today. In 2019, Azov was banned from Facebook. It is interesting that those who do not know the Lord or the Christian worldview will compromise with evil. This compromise with evil has hurt the United States in a number of ways. Since Richard Nixon engaged with China, the USA has pursued a policy of embracing evil to accomplish a seemingly good goal. Since WW2, America has continually slid away from the biblical roots our nation was founded upon. We became a post Christian society in the 90’s and crossed over to anti-Christian society in the 2000’s. With the election of Barack Obama, America set off on implementing the anti-God agenda that is going full steam ahead under geriatric Joe.
The current defense posture of the United States military is “contain” Russia and China. When a military intends to deter war, military forces will not be prepositioned for war. I describe Russia’s war in Ukraine like this: a robber invades your home and puts a gun to your head and you say wait, I am going to sanction your bank account—then he shoots you. What good is it to sanction Russia when they are killing people in Ukraine? Force must be met with force in war. The EU, NATO, and the United States send arms to people and then run for the hills.

The one thing I can guarantee is that Biden will show weakness. Biden is even now betraying his word to Israel by pushing the peace deal with Iran. This supposed revival of the JCPOA is the hair-brained idea of Barack Obama to shift US policy away from Israel and to Iran. In their world, they believe that Iran is a better partner for peace then Israel. This is exactly as the Bible predicted. To make matters worse, Russia participates in the peace talks with Iran today in Vienna Austria. I believe that Biden will make a deal with Russia that will move the ball forward with the Ezekiel 38-39 war.

What’s more important to Biden, the Iran deal or Ukraine? All of the evidence points in the direction of Iran. The US has given Iran 24 billion dollars, took terrorist groups off the terror watch list, and basically told Iran we will do whatever you tell us to do so we can get you to sign the deal. Next step: Russia will demand the world and get the universe!

It is exciting what is happening in the world because it gives us an opportunity to understand prophecy. Prophecy is the text of the bible speaking to us right now. God uses passages like Matthew 7:7-11 prophetically. Jesus told us to pray and continue to pray so that we see answered prayer. This is the same process of prophecy, God makes promises of what will happen, and then it happens. In prayer the Lord commands us, ask and you shall receive, guess what happens, God gives you what you ask for. As we face a chaotic world, we pray and God hears us, as we read the Bible, we see God moving and touching our hearts! Remember this truth:
“If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!”
