Prophecy Update: Deception and the Rapture 7/7/2023
At the July 4th party at my house, several people told me about the new movie that Jim Caviezel plays in called ‘Sound of Freedom.’ From the trailer it says the movie is about: “The incredible true story of a former government agent turned vigilante who embarks on a dangerous mission to rescue hundreds of children from sex …” The press, media, mafia, organized crime, governments, and people are in full blown rebellion against God regarding this topic. The amount of deception from the United States government alone regarding the sex trafficking sin is astounding. Our southern border and Ukraine are hotbeds for human trafficking. Human trafficking is modern day slavery protected by government officials helping organized crime do its evil deeds.
“Everyone utters lies to his neighbor.” Psalm 12:2
Psalm 12 highlights for us the nation that has leaders who have rebelled against God and have come up with deceptive ways to manipulate everyone. Our nation is described in vs. 1,
“For the choir director; upon an eight-stringed lyre. A Psalm of David. Help, LORD, for the godly man ceases to be, For the faithful disappear from among the sons of men.”
There is a time prophesied that causes the people of God to cry out against all of the lawlessness. David is experiencing the rebellion of King Saul who is trying to kill him. Where are the righteous who will stand for the truth? This is a prophecy because the same conditions exist in the end times. In vs. 8 the Lord highlights the end times prophecy with this phrase: “When vileness is exalted among the sons of men.” Vileness is exalted in the capitals of the world!
David experienced this in Israel proper in his day, the text of lawlessness in Psalm 12 repeats prophetic teaching regarding the last days. Jesus described the end times as times like the days of Noah and Lot. Those days described are violent and immoral. That is our day.
Psalm 12 highlights deception and pride as markers for the battle we face. Human trafficking is modern day slavery. The beast system coming to the world as described in the prophecies of Daniel and Revelation by necessity have to be deceiving. Deception is a function of “suppressing the truth in unrighteousness.” Deception causes words to be toxic. God says in Psalm 12:6 that His words are pure words.
“The words of the LORD are pure words; As silver tried in a furnace on the earth, refined seven times. “

When you read your Bible, the Word of God transforms you, gives you light, and the Holy Spirit supernaturally guides you into all of the truth. When the unbelieving world rejects the Word of God and the ethics, which come from God, it brings death. The movements afoot in our country lead to death. As David mourned the loss of godly men and the faithful disappearing in his culture, he did so in a prophetic way, mirroring what we are facing today. Here how this is being manifested on our southern border each day:
“The Human Trafficking Crisis At The Border Is Coming To Your Hometown: August 30, 2022, Hundreds of thousands of migrants are crossing into our country illegally every day, and our border has never been less secure. When Biden announced changes to the policies at our border soon after taking office, millions of migrants flooded our borders to take advantage of the lax rules, entering and disappearing without a trace. Particularly, human trafficking has become one of the largest issues facing our border security, with men, women, and children being exploited and forced into labor against their will. “Arizona Whistleblowers Expose the Human Sex Trafficking Business at the US Border. A new documentary titled “Cages – Epic Human Trafficking Truth” features whistleblowers from Arizona who say that human sex trafficking involves extortion, rape of men, women and children, and murder. Vicious crimes occur daily at the US Mexican border as a result of Biden’s open border policies. Migrants are willing to commit serious crimes to pay off cartels. The US Government is working together with Mexican drug cartels to allow this sex trafficking enterprise to flourish inside the United States.” https://needtoknow.news/
“Because of the devastation of the afflicted, because of the groaning of the needy, Now I will arise,” says the LORD; “I will set him in the safety for which he longs.”
Psalm 12:5
I had a spiritual encounter with Psalm 12:5 when the Lord spoke to me about the rapture. The conditions spoken about in this verse mirror the day in which the rapture will take place. God was very clear that in the midst of national rebellion, He will set in safety His people. David experienced this from the Lord in His day. We will experience this in our day when Jesus comes to get us!
How do we know that we are living in the time that the rapture can take place? There are three reasons.
First: the rapture is imminent. “From the very earliest days of the church, the apostles and first-generation Christians nurtured an earnest expectation and fervent hope that Christ might suddenly return at any time to gather His church to heaven. James, writing what was probably the earliest of the New Testament epistles, expressly told his readers that the Lord’s return was imminent:https://www.gty.org/
“Be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. Do not grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned. Behold, the Judge is standing at the door!”
James 5:7–9
Second: The rapture is not only imminent it precedes the Tribulation period. The second truth regarding the rapture is that it will come before the world is judged in the seven-year tribulation period. A key passage about the fact we are not going through the tribulation period is 2 Thess.2:1-3
“Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction”
2 Thess. 2:1-3
It is clear from the context that the Thessalonians were taught that they are in the tribulation period because of all the persecution they were experiencing. Paul is very clear that that is not the case. They in fact had not missed the rapture of the church; Paul taught the rapture doctrine in First Thessalonians. The final wrath of God on the earth will come at a time outlined for us in the book of Revelation. We are not in the tribulation today as they were not in their day. The rapture is described in the phrase: “The coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him” “The day of the Lord” is the day described constantly in the Bible as a unique time period that we call the Tribulation.
The seven years of the final judgment of God on the earth is described for us in Zephaniah:
“Near is the great day of the LORD, Near and coming very quickly; Listen, the day of the LORD!
In it the warrior cries out bitterly. A day of wrath is that day, A day of trouble and distress, A day of destruction and desolation, A day of darkness and gloom, A day of clouds and thick darkness, A day of trumpet and battle cry Against the fortified cities And the high corner towers. I will bring distress on men So that they will walk like the blind, Because they have sinned against the LORD;
And their blood will be poured out like dust And their flesh like dung.”
Zeph.1:14-17
The Tribulation period is a dark day, Satan will be given enough rope to hang himself, the people of the world will be given room to rebel against God, and the rise of the antichrist will give these evil people the leader they sought after all along. God is very clear that the Tribulation is not for the church, it is for the judgment of people who refused to bow to the Lordship of Jesus. That leads us to the third reason we believe the rapture is very close:
Third: the conditions for the beast system are ripe. The UN and the woke leaders of our country are pushing for the one world government described in the scriptures. If that system is coming quickly, then Jesus is coming quickly to remove us from the earth. We will not be here for the rise of antichrist, we will be with Jesus celebrating when He opens the first seal. The first seal of Revelation 6 reveals the antichrist to the world. Consider this article regarding the UN:
“The UN Has Come Up With A Shockingly Insidious Plan For Global Domination: Under a shocking new plan that is scheduled to be adopted two months before the U.S. presidential election in 2024, all it would take is some sort of a major “global shock” for the United Nations to literally take authority over the entire planet. Could the global shock the UN is anticipating be the rapture of the church? They mention several things in their proposal for a global shock: “Well, the policy paper tells us that a future pandemic, a “major event in outer space” or even “unforeseen risks” would all qualify…” What would a major event in outer space be? I think the rapture of the church will be the event they are anticipating.
The globalists are doing so much damage to the earth at the moment that it is inconceivable to me that the UN has the evil boldness to ask for more authority over the earth. That authority will be given to them when Jesus opens the first seal and then we know at that point when we are coming back with Jesus. Seven years is all they get, Jesus will fill the earth with the wrath of the Lamb! Israel will be saved and we will return with Jesus to set up His kingdom that will last for one thousand years! We have so much to look forward to!
The rapture teaching in the scriptures is meant to encourage us. God says, “comfort one another with these words” He calls it the Blessed Hope, Jesus said “do not be troubled, I will come and get you that where I am you will be.” We are the light of the world, shine your light bright this week because Jesus is coming soon.
