Prophecy Update: Israel and the Election 11/2/2022

Today is election day in Israel! Tuesday November 11th will be historic for the world and for Israel. Bill Clinton and Barack Obama worked to undermine and kill any chance that Benjamin Netanyahu had to be the Prime Minister of Israel. Israel is a parliamentary form of government so people do not vote for a person but a party. The party with the most votes gets the chance to form a government. Likud, Netanyahu’s party, won the most votes in elections spanning back to the 1980’s. Many in Israel are hoping that Netanyahu wins, some see it as prophetic if he does.

Netanyahu was Prime Minister in 1996 and was a fierce opponent of the 1993 Oslo Accords. So much pressure was put on him from the left that he compromised and handed over parts of Hebron and the West Bank to the Palestinians. This divided the land of Israel and he lost his post in 1999.

In Joel 3:2, the Lord says: “I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat. Then I will enter into judgment with them there on behalf of My people and My inheritance, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; and they have divided up My land.” (3:2)

God is very clear that you do not divide the land of Israel. After God removed Netanyahu, so he would learn his lesson, God put in Ariel Sharon. Sharon violated this rule when he divided the land of Israel by kicking Jews out of the Gaza Strip. God judged Sharon and gave him a stroke. God judged America by sending hurricane Katrina. Netanyahu became Prime Minister again in 2005. Since 2005, George Bush, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, and Hilary Clinton as secretary of state under Obama have blamed Netanyahu for the lack of peace in the Middle East.

“Who’s to blame for the continued failure of the Middle East peace process? Former President Bill Clinton said today that it is Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu — whose government moved the goalposts upon taking power, and whose rise represents a key reason there has been no Israeli-Palestinian peace deal.” https://foreignpolicy.com/

The continued pressure from the UN and the United States to divide the land of Israel will lead to war. Barack Obama pressured Israel in the same manner the Clintons and Bush’s attacked Netanyahu.

“International pressure on Israel to carve up the Holy Land like a Thanksgiving turkey continues to build following President Obama’s May 2011 speech calling for Israel to withdraw to the 1967 borders. Nearly every world leader — and certainly every American president since the Six Day War — has demanded Israel give up significant amounts of territory within Judea, Samaria, and the Golan Heights in order to create a sovereign Palestinian state and make peace with Syria, but never this much territory.” https://flashtrafficblog.epicentermedia.net/

“In Benjamin Netanyahu’s new book, Bibi: My Story, Netanyahu accuses the Obama administration of trying to “force confrontations” with “Israel”. Netanyahu revealed in his book that former US President Barack Obama threatened Netanyahu in their first meeting in the White House in 2009. Toward the end of the meeting, Obama said: “You know, people often read me wrong, but I come from Chicago. I know how to deal with tough rivals.” Then, Obama, as narrated by Netanyahu, did something “that deeply shocked me because it was so opposed to his restrained character. The message was clear and it was meant to strike fear in me. Obama gestured that he was slitting someone’s throat as he said that he knows how to deal with Netanyahu.” https://english.almayadeen.net/

It is clear that since Obama became President, the USA has been pushed to treat Israel as the leftists at the UN treat Israel. The goal was to fill the Israeli government with traitors to the Israeli government, to force out Zionists who believe in God’s promises regarding the land, and to divide the land. The UN is excited because they have their man in Israel, Yair Lapid. Israel is having its fourth election in five years. That is a government and a nation in disarray.

Yair Lapid called for the two state solution at the UN, gave away its gas fields in the Mediterranean, and has encouraged more terrorism against Israel. Hezbollah threatened to attack Israel after they got what they wanted from Lapid in the gas deal. The enemies of Israel know when a weak leader is in control. They smell blood in the water.  Lapid broke Israeli law by signing the deal because the law says it has to have a two thirds majority vote in the Knesset. Lapid, like Biden, does not care about the constitution of their country. Netanyahu strongly opposed the deal and the nation is in turmoil.

“Analysis: Despite the seemingly endless political deadlock amounting to five election rounds on the spin, these factors are still at play in the race to form the next government.Any party that wins more than 3.25% of the vote makes it into parliament, with seats divided up by how many votes they capture. Over 10 parties could be elected.  Two venerable parties in the anti-Netanyahu bloc, Labor and Meretz, are hovering near the threshold in opinion polls. A failure by either of them to do so would be devastating for Lapid. On the other side, Jewish Home, a hard-line nationalist party loyal to Netanyahu, is also struggling. Polls indicate the party will not make it into parliament. But if it does, the Netanyahu bloc almost certainly will win.” https://www.ynetnews.com/article/ryl8ditni

As Israel continues to bow to the pressure and wishes of the Biden Administration, aka, Obama, the stronger Iran and her proxies become. America does this in two ways, first, it supports the failed nuclear deal and secondly, it only supports those who support the Iranian regime. This was clear last week when the State Department refused to give any support to the protesters in Iran. It also is clear that the new illegal gas deal is a deal with Hezbollah which is a proxy army of Iran.  Israel is the weakest I have seen her in my lifetime. Today, which way will Israel turn?

“Just over a year after being ousted, former Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu is attempting a political comeback in Tuesday’s election with the help of a surging far-right party led by one of the country’s most extreme politicians. Netanyahu’s hopes of forming a 61-seat majority government rest in part on the support of the far-right Jewish Power party. It would likely also mean a Cabinet post for Itamar Ben Gvir, the firebrand leader of Jewish Power, who among other things supports the deportation of Arab citizens who are deemed to be “disloyal” to Israel.” https://www.nbcnews.com/

Like Trump, if Netanyahu wins, the left will go crazy and start to attack all people who stand for the truth as they did to Trump. Their hatred is at epic levels, including the threat of murder. This means that Israel will be under tremendous pressure from within and without of Israel if Netanyahu wins. The left said this:

“There is no far-right without Netanyahu,” Merav Michaeli, the leader of the center-left Labor Party told NBC News. It is going to be so harmful for Israel if we have such extreme right-wing people in the Cabinet, in the government,” he said.  “I’m really, really worried about what that would do to Israel’s position in the world and to its relationship with its allies.” https://www.nbcnews.com/

In the OBiden administration, anyone for Netanyahu is for the far right, the evil ones, the extremists who want war and not peace. This is the line coming from all of the news networks in America. One congressman said this: “I urge Israeli political leaders from all sides of the political spectrum to ostracize extremists like Itamar Ben-Gvir,” Rep. Brad Sherman, D-Calif., said in a tweet. “These extremists undermine Israel’s interests and the U.S.-Israel relationship.”

Let me get this straight, if you are for Judea and Samaria being part of Israeli territory, you’re a right wing extremist. I guess Jesus is a right wing terrorist! The anti-colonialist worldview of Obama and Obiden means that you have to support the anti-colonialist Iranian mullahs. This works for Biblical Prophecy because it sets up the war talked about in Ezekiel 38-39. As Palestinian society is mobilizing for the war in Israel, Israel is attempting to put in a government that will oppose them and really fight. If Netanyahu gets in, the war will commence with the Palestinian Authority and their Iranian proxies. The OBiden Administration will support the Iranians and Palestinians because that is what Obama did!

If Lapid wins and some leftist government comes to power in Israel this week, Iran will be licking its chops. In either scenario, war is coming and coming very quickly. We will find out in a few days.

Right on cue, the UN smells blood and actually voted to demand that Israel get rid of its nuclear weapons. “UN TELLS ISRAEL TO TRASH ITS NUKES – BUT IGNORES IRAN’S: The United Nations General Assembly’s (UNGA) First Committee declared Monday that Israel must dispose of all its nuclear weapons and place its nuclear sites under the International Atomic Energy Agency’s (IAEA) purview. The 152-5 vote surprised many, given the vote was aimed at Israel, which has never admitted to possessing nuclear weapons, and not at its archenemy, the Islamic Republic of Iran.” https://offthepress.com/

It’s early Wednesday morning, I just finished an hour of prayer with 15 students and I see in the news feed that Netanyahu has a good chance of forming a government. That would be good news for Israel this week. I hope that God will preserve those who stand for the truth in Israel. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Iran is threatening war again…the world yawns and the Bible says it will happen.

The last thing I saw from Israel is that there is election fraud. At the last minute, an Arab party all of a sudden is getting alot of votes out of nowhere. Sound familiar? Pray for truth to win out. Blessings!

About Joe

We live in the last days and the Bible commands us to watch for the Lord’s coming. I have a keen interest in history, prophecy and current events. I read widely about political and military developments and write a weekly blog from the things I follow. My special interest is in Middle Eastern affairs.

Since I was in college, I have also studied how God judges nations. It all started in Buck Hatches’ class at Columbia Bible College in 1979.

I fell in love with God’s word and especially the prophets. The results of this interest led me to writing The ‘I’ Judgements: Four Sins that Bring about the Fall of Nations. It serves as a warning to the United States, showing biblically of what we need to repent.
