Prophecy Update: Israel and the End Times! 6/21/23
The rise of Israel in the end times comes with the prophetic warning that Satan and the enemies of God will attempt to destroy Israel. Remember that in Exodus 1 Satan inspired Pharaoh to kill all of the baby boys of Israel. Satan inspired nations to attack Israel all through history. I mention Egypt first, because they were the first nation Satan used to inspire other nations to destroy Israel in 1947.
“On 29 November, 1947, a 2000-year-old dream became reality: A Jewish State was born anew in its ancient homeland. On that day the UN General Assembly voted on Resolution 181, adopting a plan to partition the British Mandate into two states, one Jewish, one Arab. God moved in the aftermath of the holocaust. As Jews were coming out of the European countries into Israel, the Arab and Muslim states objected. One country stood up as the leader of the enemies of the Jews, Egypt!

Notice anything about the list? That’s right, ten of them are from the Arab League and they not only opposed Israel becoming a nation but vowed to destroy Israel at her birth, just like Satan did in Egypt when Moses was a baby. They said this in 1947, “The [British] Government of Palestine fear that strife in Palestine will be greatly intensified when the Mandate is terminated, and that the international status of the United Nations Commission will mean little or nothing to the Arabs in Palestine, to whom now transcends the killing of Jews all other considerations. Thus, the Commission will be faced with the problem of how to avert certain bloodshed on a very much wider scale than prevails at present. … The Arabs have made it quite clear and have told the Palestine government that they do not propose to co-operate or to assist the Commission, and that, far from it, they propose to attack and impede its work in every possible way. Egypt and the Arab league called the decision of the UN ‘Nakba’ meaning the disaster or catastrophe. Here is a quote from one of the leaders that will give you the attitude of the league: The chairman of the Arab Higher Committee said the Arabs would “fight for every inch of their country.” Two days later, the holy men of Al-Azhar University in Cairo called on the Muslim world to proclaim a jihad (holy war) against the Jews. Violence in the Holy Land broke out almost immediately after the United Nations announced partition on November 29, 1947. Jamal Husseini, the Arab Higher Committee’s spokesman, had told the UN before the partition vote the Arabs would drench “the soil of our beloved country with the last drop of our blood.” https://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/
Egypt led the wars against Israel in 1948, 56, 67, and 73 and they lost every time. Why? God was in charge and the nation of Israel won because God caused them to win. There is no other explanation. Today, the nations are again setting the goal of destroying the state of Israel. Led by Iran, assisted by the United States and Russia, again the losing side has been determined by the God of Israel who never sleeps or slumbers in fulfilling His promises! The USA has by and large supported Israel through the years but it has been a struggle. The Democratic Party went full anti-Semitic under the leadership of Barak Obama from 2008 to 2016. Obama gave Iran 150 billion dollars to prepare to destroy Israel, totally disregarding the statements of Iran. Iran since 1979 committed herself to finishing the job of the holocaust. In 2014, things heated up as Obama pushed a deal with Iran that threatened Israel. Netanyahu responded:

For many years, the Palestinian Authority has put energy into building a military force designed to attack and destroy the state of Israel. This military force designed to be like Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon seeks to drive the Jews from the land of Israel. Iran is the force behind this move by the Palestinian Authority. Unfortunately for Israel, many Jewish leaders from the left support a separation from the Palestinians by giving them the West Bank. The West Bank is Judea and Samaria, the biblical heartland of the land of Israel. God says that Judea and Samaria will be occupied, inhabited, rebuilt, and ruled by Jews! The Two State solution says that Israel cannot have her land. God says that Israel will own the land, the Two State solution says that Palestinians own the land. The Two State solution has always failed; God says He will not fail in giving His land back to His people! The Biden administration is following Obama in his hatred of Jews and they have come out hard against Israel:

God raised up two leaders in Israel who are links in the chain towards giving all of Judea and Samaria to Israel. One is Bezalel Smotrich! “Bezalel Yoel Smotrich grew up in the Beit El settlement in the West Bank. His father was an Orthodox rabbi, and Smotrich received a religious education, attending Mercaz HaRav Kook, Yashlatz, and Yeshivat Kedumim. Smotrich was among the founders of the Regavim movement – a nongovernmental organization promoting Israeli sovereignty in the West Bank – and served as its director. He also ran the yeshiva in Kedumim. He is one of the founders and managers of the Association of Zionist post-High School Yeshivas and served as a member of the board. It is important for us to recognize God’s sovereignty in this situation. Smotrich believes that all of Judea and Samaria is biblical Israel and that the Palestinians have no right to the land. The left hates him. Netanyahu gave him more authority to determine who lives in Judea and Samaria and who should leave. That is very important! Here is a list of some of the things he has said that drives the left crazy:
“Smotrich opposes the creation of a Palestinian state and believes they should be given three options: to leave, accept rule by a Jewish state, or fight and be defeated. He favors annexing the disputed territories and legalizing outposts built on Palestinian-owned land that were not approved by the government. Smotrich has also declared himself a “proud homophobe” and organized the “Beast Parade,” an anti-LGBTQ march in Jerusalem to protest the city’s annual Pride parade. As Christians, any time new homes are built in Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria, we should celebrate because God is fulfilling prophecy and we should show our support of Israel’s sovereignty over her homeland. It is hard for us to understand sometimes how the world can on the one hand say, we are for protecting Jews and on the other hand, do all they can to weaken Israel claim to the land. This is the case in the USA. On the one hand our government says it is not anti-Semitic and on the other hand they are only for the two state solution.
“On a regular basis, aerial photographs are taken of the landscape in Judea and Samaria. These photos are then analyzed and if there is even so much as a porch addition or a chicken coop being built in the backyard of a Jewish home, that photo will land on the desk of a senior US Administration official, and Bibi Netanyahu will then receive a phone call asking why his country is once again blocking the obstacle to Middle East peace by “expanding the settlements in the West Bank.” https://www.israel365news.com/
When Obama became President in 2008, the next eight years were the worse for Israel. He turned our government against Israel and for Iran. Now Obama’s protégé Biden is doing the same thing. Here is the conflict, it is Blinken our Secretary of State against Smotrich the finance minister of Israel, it is Biden vs. Netanyahu, it is Iran vs. Israel, and it is God vs. the UN. Who do you think is going to prevail? As the Palestinian Authority gears up for war with Israel, assisted by the Iranians and Biden, spurred on by the Arab League, joined in by Islamic Jihad, Hamas, Hezbollah, and the IRGC, giddy over the divisions in Israel, soon war will commence and Israel will prevail because God predicted it. According to Amir Tsfarti, this war almost commenced this week after another terrorist attack in Israel.
“Jenin airstrikes a sign of deteriorating security: The IDF may have no choice but to recommend to the Cabinet the launch of a wide-scale operation in the terror hotbed. The fact that the Israel Defense Forces needed to call in air support for ground forces in Jenin on Monday is a signal of a significant escalation in this Palestinian city, which has become a hornet’s nest of terrorism. Zooming out from this event, it is clear that Jenin is out of control, and that as time goes by, the chances of a larger-scale IDF operation there are growing.” https://www.jns.org/
The problem in Israel is that they are divided between those who believe that the biblical heartland is for Israel and not Arabs and those who compromise with the two state solution. One is biblical and one is not. The two state solution is the lefts way of keeping Israel weak and Satan has more opportunity to destroy the state under these conditions. Netanyahu has joined forces with those who believe wholeheartedly that it is Gods will for Israel to annex all of the biblical heartland and the world is against these people in the Netanyahu government. Netanyahu is using politics instead of faith to make decisions. He will be forced to accept the will of the biblical mandate to take sovereignty over all of the land. Unfortunately, that is coming with war.
The last week of conflict in Israel is tied to the conflict in Ukraine. The NATO crowd is forcing Israel to align with them against Russia. Russia will prevail in this fight and will eventually attack Israel. Bible prophecy demands it. Pray that God will keep NATO out of Ukraine and that God will save the people in Russia and Ukraine caught in the battle. Thursday is the anniversary of Operation Barbarossa, the decision by Hitler’s Germany in 1941 to invade Russia. NATO is insanely saying that they want to resurrect Operation Barbarossa 2. This is insanity and our leaders have lost their minds. Why are there no peace initiatives? Why are the nations raging and the peoples devising a vain thing? It is because they have rejected the Lord and His anointed One Jesus our Messiah. There will never be any peace until Jesus is seated at the conference table. No seat exists for Jesus!
