Prophecy Central: Meditate on the Truth! 3/22/2023
Many years ago I read “Sit Walk Stand” by Watchman Nee. The book taught the outline of the book of Ephesians, focusing on our rest in Jesus (sit) always preceded our lifestyle (walk). The teaching focused on the pattern in the Bible; God giving us the promises before the commands and laws. In my Greek classes in graduate school they called this the indicative-imperative pattern of teaching. Indicative verb form in grammar tells us the facts while the imperative verb form tells us the commands.
Recently, I have been meditating on the importance of thinking and meditating on all that God has done for us in Christ. The pattern for the believer, set by the Lord is the truth about our relationship with Jesus then commands us to obey. I often teach that it is “promise before law, always!” The first commandment in the book of Romans comes at Romans 6:11 and says,
“Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.”
This command follows the teaching on salvation, focusing on all that God has done in Jesus to save us. God uses the word “know” three times in Romans 6:1-10 to alert us to the facts that we are united with Christ. We are given the same pattern when it comes to understanding the last days.
“Then he said, “Go your way, Daniel, for these words are concealed and sealed up until the time of the end.”

God sealed up the book until the end of times. What does this mean? Certainly, God would give understanding to people about the book of Daniel in every age, wouldn’t He? The answer is yes and God knows how to increase understanding as the years come closer and closer to the end. Some interpreters take this verse to mean that the angel sealed up the book he was reading from, some take it to mean the book that Daniel wrote. In either case, we have historical proof that Daniel was studied in earnest in the 19th and 20th centuries more than all of the centuries preceding it.
“Then about the middle of the nineteenth century — and not until then — there came a reawakened interest in prophecy. This can be traced very clearly in history. The Reformers did not deal much with prophetic passages; they were concerned about other issues. But about the middle of the nineteenth century, in England and other places, prophetic truth came to light again. Christians began to study predictive passages earnestly, and great conventions were held to propagate prophetic truths. It was also at that time that knowledge began to increase. The vast explosion of modern knowledge broke upon men as a result. I do not know how to prove that, but it is most interesting to note the connection of these things. There are hidden secrets of life that we have not yet begun to understand. One of them is the strange connection within the spirit of man between his knowledge of God and the rest of his life. It was at this time that the interest in Israel was dawning in the church of the living God. Horatius Bonar, Robert Murray McCheyne, and J.C. Ryle, just to name a few, began writing in Britain on prophecy and the importance of Israel in the early and mid 1800’s. In America, prophecy conferences broke out all over the USA. The timing of these things is nothing less than supernatural! Zionism was growing and the call to restart the nation of Israel came to fruition in 1896 when Theodor Herzl, the founder of the Modern Zionist movement wrote “Der Judenstaat” a vision for the future independent Jewish state he hoped would come to fruition during the 20th century.
Meditating on Daniel and the end time prophecies has increased in the last 200 years among Christians. It is important for us to meditate on these truths because it is the time we live in. In Matt.24-26 God used the word that means ‘stay awake’ ‘watch with me’ in relation to the end times, we are to be watchmen on the wall. We do not know the day or hour when Jesus will show up to take us to be with Him, therefore be ready! Consider yourself dead to sin, meaning that we are dead to the moves of the new world order globalists who push us to believe unbiblical evil things! Consider yourself alive to God, meaning that we are actively looking for our Savior to come and take us home!
“But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the time of the end; many will go to and fro, and knowledge will increase.” Daniel 12:4
The prophetic teaching is that the knowledge of end times prophecy would increase at the same time, knowledge and travel would increase. That is exactly what happened.
Let’s look at the fulfillment of this prophecy. At the time of Daniel the prophet, travel was primarily by foot, with only the wealthy able to afford a horse, donkey, or animal drawn carriage. As a result, few traveled, and even those that could were not able to travel frequently, or very far. Travel was limited to getting to the next village, or town – perhaps at most a few hundred miles, Even Jesus traveled no more that a few hundred miles about Israel during His time on earth.
Travel has increased exponentially since the time of Daniel. We no longer travel by foot, but by many other forms – horse, wagon, chariot, then in the 1800’s travel began using trains, automobiles, and eventually planes and jet aircraft. “Many will be purged, purified, and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who have insight will understand.”
Daniel 12:10
We live in a day where the wicked do not understand what they are doing. They are following the prophetic mandate because our Sovereign God is making it happen. Christians are understanding and have insight into what is happening! The globalist push for a global government is happening when apostasy spreads across the globe. Even in the Catholic church they see apostasy in the church.

The apostasy in the American church and the churches in England is well documented. Some of the apostasy is expressed in the rise of Islam. This is causing great waves among the wicked. Consider the dilemma the wicked face when considering a global government. It can’t be Chinese, it can’t be Russian, and it can’t be Islamic, so what do they do? Satan has decided to mix the religions so that one day he can destroy all of them so they worship him in the man of his choosing, the antichrist.
The Church in England has been overrun by false teachers who teach Chrislam. They mix Islam and Christianity to form an end times new religion. The Abraham House which features a church, synagogue, and mosque is the new religion that is being pushed by the Pope and many other protestant churches. This movement is part of the fall of Christianity in Europe. This is clearly seen in Britain as these next few articles highlight. First, let me alert you to Melanie Phillips’ book “Londonistan” which she wrote in 2006.

Notice what she says, the multiculturalism of Britain has overran Christianity and the Christian worldview! The same process that happened in Britain is happening in America. Barack Obama pushed the Muslim Brotherhood to places of prominence and authority in American government and law and now it is in full swing under Biden.

I believe that the Gog Magog war may have a double effect: just thinking out loud now so please take this in the spirit it is given. I think that the war could knock out much of the Islamic terror groups and leave a deflated, defeated Islamic world so that Antichrist can rise in its vacuum of power. Satan will never put up with an Abraham House religion! Also it will have a second effect, as Russia will be destroyed and many nations with it, Europe can rise with the antichrist influence and savior complex, the man with a plan so to speak! He will come riding in on a white horse to save the day. This possible scenario points to the fact that we need more than ever to be close to our Lord. With the threat of bank failures, the digital currency becoming a reality in July, and world war 3, Christians need the wisdom of Jesus. The rapture of the church is the blessing and hope of all Christians, let us encourage each other as we see the day drawing near.
One last thing, yesterday the news was ablaze with a story about Bezael Smoktrich claiming that there is no such thing as a Palestinian with a map of Israel behind him that included all of the land of Israel, encompassing Jordan. Jordan lodged a protest calling it racist. Problem for everyone, what Smoktrich said was true and God will give all of the land back to Israel. The game is afoot as they say, God is on the move to fulfill prophecy.
