Prophecy Update: Sept.22, 2017

I believe that we are living in the last days and that we can understand when Jesus is coming back. Matthew 16:1-3 Jesus had an encounter with the Pharisees and criticized them because they did not understand the signs of the times. It says, “The Pharisees and Sadducees came up, and testing Jesus, they asked Him to show them a sign from heaven. But He replied to them, “When it is evening, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red.’ “And in the morning, ‘There will be a storm today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Do you know how to discern the appearance of the sky, but cannot discern the signs of the times?” God has always given us signs for significant things which God is bringing on the earth. God did this for Daniel when he wrote through Jeremiah that the captivity would last 70 years. Daniel read it and prayed for deliverance in Dan.9. We read that God is bringing a significant 7 year period on the earth that would be characterized by a one world government with a global economy. We live in that day; it is a day of developing the one world economy and the rapture is going to happen soon.
With the Sept.23rd sign happening this weekend, I am excited for what God is going to do. Whatever God is going to do specifically I know that it will spur on several prophesies: including the Gog Magog war, the one world government established, and the rise of antichrist. We are 100 years from the Balfour declaration and the world is trying to undo what happened 100 years ago. The Times of Israel reported on Wednesday that Israel is responsible for apartheid.

Why? Because the world does not want Israel on the earth! The UN established in 1947 a declaration to reestablish the state of Israel on the earth. That was 70 years ago and on December 23rd 2016 the UN voted again and said that Israel cannot be a nation. From that vote we fast forward 9 months and the UN is meeting to establish a Peace and Safety conference. God says in I Thess.5:3, “While they are saying, “Peace and safety!” then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape.” From the UN website read this: “International Day of Peace 21 September, The theme honours the spirit of TOGETHER, a global initiative that promotes respect, safety and dignity for everyone forced to flee their homes and those leaving in search of a better life.” So as the UN declares Peace and Safety, God says that sudden destruction is coming. I believe that we are at that time! So the rest of the update will be dedicated to the one world government which has been developing the last 100 years.

In 1991, Richard Curtiss wrote an article about the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948. It was called, ‘Truman Adviser Recalls May 14,1948 US Decision to Recognize Israel.’ Former Secretary of Defense Clark Clifford, who served President Truman was there for all of the behind the scenes drama and wrote a book about his experience.
“Marshall firmly opposed American recognition of the new Jewish state. Marshall’s opposition was shared by almost every member of the brilliant and now legendary group of presidential advisers, later referred to as the Wise Men, who were then in the process of creating a post-war foreign policy that would endure for more than 40 years. The opposition included the respected Under Secretary of State Robert Lovett; his predecessor, Dean Acheson; the No. 3 man in the State Department, Charles Bohlen; the brilliant chief of the Policy Planning Staff George Kennan; (Navy Secretary James V.) Forrestal; and … Dean Rusk, then the director of the Office of United Nations Affairs… A number of Middle East experts in the State Department were widely regarded as anti-Semitic.” These are the same people who pushed a one world rule from the United Nations.

The League of Nations was established after WW1. The covenant was originally drafted by U.S. President Woodrow Wilson and submitted on 14 February 1919. While the League was accepted by many nations the U.S. Congress refused to accept American membership of the League. This is one of the first pushes for a one world government. Article 8 of the League of Nations Covenant says, “The Members of the League recognize that the maintenance of peace requires the reduction of national armaments to the lowest point consistent with national safety and the enforcement by common action of international obligations.” Notice how peace and safety were the highest ideal for the League. What a failure, WW2 bombed all of the hopes and dreams of those who hoped for a one world government that would bring peace to the world. After WW1 they said it was the war to end all wars—what a tragedy!

World War 2 led to the establishment of the United Nations. The United Nations is a failure at everything that they are tasked to do. Leading up to the establishment of the United Nations, several things were put into place. Here is a brief summary of the march towards global government.
1911 – The Socialist Party of Great Britain publishes a pamphlet entitled “Socialism and Religion” in which they clearly state their position on Christianity: “It is therefore a profound truth that Socialism is the natural enemy of religion. A Christian Socialist is in fact an anti-Socialist. Christianity is the antithesis of Socialism.”
May 30, 1919 – Prominent British and American personalities establish the Royal Institute of International Affairs in England and the Institute of International Affairs in the U.S. at a meeting arranged by Col. House; attended by various Fabian socialists, including noted economist John Maynard Keynes.
1920 – Britain’s Winston Churchill recognizes the connection between the Illuminati and the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia. He observes: “From the days of Spartacus-Weishaupt to those of Karl Marx, to those of Trotsky, Bela Kun, Rosa Luxembourg, and Emma Goldman, this world-wide conspiracy for the overthrow of civilization and for the reconstitution of society on the basis of arrested development, of envious malevolence and impossible equality, has been steadily growing.
1920-1931 – Louis T. McFadden is Chairman of the House Committee on Banking and Currency. Concerning the Federal Reserve, Congressman McFadden notes: “When the Federal Reserve Act was passed, the people of these United States did not perceive that a world banking system was being set up here. A super-state controlled by International Bankers and international industrialists acting together to enslave the world for their own pleasure.
March 1942 – An article in “TIME” magazine chronicles the Federal Council of Churches [which later becomes the National Council of Churches, a part of the World Council of Churches] lending its weight to efforts to establish a global authority. A meeting of the top officials of the council comes out in favor of: 1) a world government of delegated powers; 2) strong immediate limitations on national sovereignty; 3) international control of all armies and navies. Representatives (375 of them) of 30-some denominations assert that “a new order of economic life is both imminent and imperative” – a new order that is sure to come either “through voluntary cooperation within the framework of democracy or through explosive revolution.”
October 24, 1945 – The United Nations Charter becomes effective. Also on October 24, Senator Glen Taylor (D-Idaho) introduces Senate Resolution 183, calling upon the U.S. Senate to go on record as favoring creation of a world republic, including an international police force.
1952 – The World Association of Parliamentarians for World Government draws up a map designed to illustrate how foreign troops would occupy and police the six regions into which the United States and Canada will be divided as part of their world-government plan.
April 1972 – In his keynote address to the Association for Childhood Education International, Chester M. Pierce, Professor of Education and Psychiatry in the Faculty of Medicine at Harvard University, proclaims: “Every child in America entering school at the age of five is insane because he comes to school with certain allegiances toward our founding fathers, toward his parents, toward a belief in a supernatural being. It’s up to you, teachers, to make all of these sick children well by creating the international child of the future.”
In January, 2002, all these European countries abandoned their national currencies to share only one common currency, the “Euro”.
July 20, 1992 – “TIME” magazine publishes “The Birth of the Global Nation,” by Strobe Talbott, Rhodes Scholar, roommate of Bill Clinton at Oxford University.
Agenda 21 is being implemented across America, and many Americans have never heard of it. Considering that Agenda 21 is being implemented nationwide right now, and that this United Nations plan for a One World Government is also in the works, are we Americans willing to give up American sovereignty in order to become a part of a worldwide governing organization? I think this is why President Trump was elected, because many feel it in their heart that the US was betrayed by global elites in our government.
Even the Vatican has gotten into the act as Pope Francis calls for a new system of global government to tackle climate change. ‘The Pope has been hailed for making a profoundly important intervention to the debate on global warming after making clear that climate change is real, dangerous and manmade – as he called for a new system of global government to tackle this unprecedented worldwide threat.’ On the global government forum, they highlight things happening in the world that are leading to global government. Nations going cashless is one of the things that they are excited about. They are also excited about crushing Britain over the Brexit vote. Halting independent sovereign states is the main goal by making nations depend on a higher authority. We all know that the higher authority will end up being the antichrist.

II Timothy 4:8 and I Thess.5:4-6 tell us to pray and be alert for the Lords return!
To seek these things out you will be longing for Jesus return. There is a crown of righteousness laid up for all who seek to understand the day in which they live. Seek the Lord and remember that we are to be ready for the day the Lord appears! Maranatha

Psalm 107 The Love of God!

The people of God can expect the Love of God to abide with them in all circumstances. This Psalm has as its theme, reflect and meditate on the love of God. In vss.1-2 and vs.43 God says His lovingkindness is everlasting and consider the lovingkindness of the Lord. Whoever is wise will not only meditate on this truth, but will live it out in faith. What characterizes those of faith is the refrain repeated four times. (vs.6, 13, 19, 28) The refrain says, “Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble and He brought them out of their distresses.” When the believer endures evil times, they cry to the Lord. They do not cry to the government, family, friends, or strangers, they cry to the Lord! There are many disasters in the world today, such as hurricanes and earthquakes, they need to cry to the Lord for the answer!

Hurricane Maria just devastated Puerto Rico and is now ravaging several islands on its way to the United States. We just had a hurricane go through Texas and Florida while Mexico had two devastating earthquakes. When these disasters strike, God is still on His throne and He is still working! How is God working? Psalm 107 tells us that God delivers His people after the disaster happens. Why does God wait? After each refrain God delivers a commentary. So for instance, vs.7 explains to the homeless that “God led them also by a straight way to go to an inhabited city.” So God leads His people while the disaster is happening.

In vs.14 God says that He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death and broke their bands apart. To the prisoner, God was already at work to deliver them from their prison and bring them to light.

In vs.20 God says, He sent His word and healed them and delivered them from their destructions. To the sick, God speaks and heals, this is a great comfort to those who are dealing with sickness.

In vs.29-30 God says, He caused the storm to be still so that the waves of the sea were hushed then they were glad because they were quiet so He guided them to their desired haven. For those in the storms of life, God says He will see them through it and deliver them.

In each of these cases God repeats the cry of the faithful in vss.8, 15, 21, and 31. It says, “Let them give thanks to the LORD for His lovingkindness and for His wonders to the sons of men.” The Lord does not stop loving us when we face problems and tribulations. Giving thanks in all things is commanded in several places such as I Thess.5:18, “in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” We are required to give thanks because what God does in the midst of the trouble is amazing. These ‘wonders’ are catalogued for us in the Word like Jesus resurrection which came after the tragedy of His death. Our faith looks at the cross as both a tragedy and the greatest demonstration of love ever in the world. The word ‘wonder’ means marvelous, surpassing, extraordinary, and to do a hard thing. Look at these verses to praise God and thank Him for His love: Gen.18:14, Ex.3:20, 34:10, I Chronicles 16:12, 24, and Psalm 26:7. What ever problem you are facing today, give thanks and pray to God to deliver!

Prophecy Update: Sept.15th 2017

Last week the Israeli’s attacked a chemical weapons facility in Syria’s Hama province. Reuters reported: “Israel hits Syrian site said to be linked to chemical weapons.” The report further said, “The air strike killed two soldiers and caused damage near the town of Masyaf, an army statement said. It warned of the “dangerous repercussions of this aggressive action to the security and stability of the region”. When the army warns us of dangerous repercussions, I almost have to laugh. Let us get this straight, a nation that has been at war for almost six years with 475,000 dead and about 11 million who have been displaced and 5 million have left the country, your worried about further repercussions?

“The Observatory said strikes also hit a military camp next to the center that was used to store ground-to-ground rockets and where personnel of Iran and its ally, the Lebanese Hezbollah group, had been seen more than once. Syria’s foreign ministry has sent letters to the U.N. Security Council protesting against Israel’s “aggression” and saying anyone who attacked Syrian military sites was supporting terrorism, Syrian state TV reported. While Syria complains, Israel has a moral duty to defend herself from Hezbollah and Iran who have set up shop in Syria to attack Israel.

Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said, “We have won in the war (in Syria),” he said in comments reported by the Lebanese newspaper al-Akhbar. Referring to Assad’s opponents, Nasrallah said “the path of the other project has failed and wants to negotiate for some gains”. Military backing from Iran and Russia has proven critical to Assad in the war with insurgents including rebels who have been backed by Gulf Arab states, Turkey and the United States, which has decided to end a programme of covert support to rebels. As Assad and Russia win the war in Syria, Iran sets up shop for its eventual attack of Israel. Do not forget that the Iranians every Friday chant death to America and death to Israel at all of their mosques. The leader of Iran wrote a book on destroying Israel.

The Besa Center reported this past week that the Middle East is in a tremendous upheaval because the lone superpower in the world has been absent. They said of Iran: “The Iranian-North Korean collusion, in defiance of all international countermeasures, is not merely transactional but cooperative. Tehran is both a contributor to and a benefactor of Pyongyang’s thirst for nuclear prowess, and is thus a major threat to both the Sunni Arab states and Israel. If Iran is not, even at this late stage, decisively and successfully encouraged to assume a less belligerent stance, Shiite supremacy is unavoidable.” With the destruction of ISIS, the Middle East is being dominated by the Iranians. Saudi Arabia has lost a great deal of power and significance in the Middle East because of the failure of ISIS and many Sunni terrorist groups. A Shiite front will soon surround the Sunni bloc (excluding Turkey), extending from Lebanon-Syria, around Iraq-Iran, up to Yemen and perhaps beyond. That front is now busy gluing together all the hitherto disconnected Shiite elements in the region. Although Sunni and Shiite Islam are united in their desire to destroy Israel, they are still in competition with each other and kill each other whenever they can. The power of Israel has caused Saudi Arabia to be less belligerent to Israel and maybe to see them as an ally against Iran.

The North Koreans and the Iranians help the Palestinians so they can use them to kill Jews. The Besa report said, “As for the Palestinians, North Korean military advisors provided the PLO with instruction and training in paramilitary and terrorist operations in the Middle East and in North Korea. On this year’s remembrance day of “Korea’s” victory over Japan in 1945, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas sent a telegram to Pyongyang to voice the Palestinians’ admiration of “the great sacrifices [endured by the DPRK] for the sake of its freedom and dignity.” Do not forget that the momentum is with China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea. What this means for Israel is war plain and simple. These groups realize that Nato cannot stop them and America is alone. The forces of Nato are weak and ineffective because the West in general has adopted a spirit of Neville Chamberlain. They have given in to the jihadist Muslim movement in Europe!

Giulio Meotti wrote a piece for Arutz Sheva this week called, “Where is the West’s courage? Young children, ostriches and Europe all have something in common: If they close their eyes or hide their heads in the sand, they think they are safe. In 1978, the great Russian writer Alexander Solzenitsyn delivered a famous speech at Harvard University. “The Western world has lost its civil courage, both as a whole and separately, in each country, each government, each political party, and, of course, in the United Nations. Such a decline in courage is particularly noticeable among the ruling groups and the intellectual elite, causing an impression of loss of courage by the entire society. Of course, there are many courageous individuals, but they have no determining influence on public life”. Solzenitsyn nailed what has happened in the USA the last 40 years. If we are lacking courage in the USA it is ten times worse in Europe. Russia and China see this and they are moving ahead aggressively. Giulio points out the problem after Spain was attacked: “I’m not afraid, is the slogan of anti-terrorism march in Spain. Time Magazine called them “Peace Marchers”. Peace? After 15 people have been butchered by a cell of the Islamic State? Why not announce instead a Spanish battalion to join the international coalition busy in freeing Raqqa, the de facto capital of Isis in Syria?”
You see, the West is busy saying peace and doing nothing to stop the murderers. He went on to say, “Our candor in front of all our dead murdered by terrorists, a mix of nihilism and phony optimism, is amazing. It is as if the West agreed to pay this price to radical Islam. We have our homegrown Jihadists, their handlers in North Africa and the Middle East, Iran and North Korea – all out to destroy the West. They don’t hide their intentions. We are the ones who hide.”

This is the state of affairs in Ezekiel 38-39, Israel is willing to fight and the west is not. Israel attacks a weapons facility in Syria, tells the world to take a hike and says they will do it again. In Ashland Ohio they have a march and rally to say we do not hate? Are you kidding me, where are our soldiers, fighters, are they not going to kill our enemies? Our war planners manage wars not fight to win wars. That is why we still have troops in the Iraq and Afghanistan. Let me be in charge of this war and it would have been over in 3 months!

Ezekiel 38:13 says, “Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish with all its villages will say to you, ‘Have you come to capture spoil? Have you assembled your company to seize plunder, to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to capture great spoil?’”’ You see the West is weak and ineffective because we do not prepare for war or for the violence of our opponents. We teach in the West that we have no opponents and that everyone is entitled to their beliefs. We justify the Jihadists behavior and even deny their Muslims? As we do these things, Russia and Iran are setting up for war!

Russia is today practicing to defeat NATO in their Zapad 2017 war games. As they do it, Turkey, a NATO member signed a deal with the Russians to buy their S-400 missile defense system! NATO is not ready to stop the Russians if their 100,000 troops turn and attack Latvia! What will NATO do if their troops attack Israel? The Bible says they will do nothing. After the Paris terror attacks, many people were inspired by John Lennon’s peace songs. It was a clear message to Jihadists: you can continue to butcher us, we don’t care. One nation that cares is Israel.

Have you asked yourself why Syria has not retaliated against Israel? It is because they know that Israel will kill them in minutes! The Muslim states only use terrorism on Israel because they have lost every war hands down! When Israel faced the Muslim nations in war, 1948, 56, 67, and 73, the Muslim nations were backed and funded by the Soviet Union. Each time the Jews won those wars and the Soviet equipment, planes and other things were no match for the Israeli’s. The Muslim nations are once again waiting for the client state, Russia, to attack Israel. The next big war in the Middle East will be Russia, Iran and their allies attacking Israel. Again it will be a loss for the evil forces from Russia and Iran. The Russians are practicing for war today. Zapad 2017 is suppose to use 12,700 Russian soldiers but already Russia has sent 100,000 troops. They lied to the West again—go figure that! “According to the Baltic States, the last Zapad-series exercise in 2013 involved 75,000 military personnel, six times higher than Russia disclosed,” says Janes Intelligence Review. According to a recent RAND Corporation analysis: “As currently postured, NATO cannot successfully defend the territory of its most exposed members. Across multiple games using a wide range of expert participants in and out of uniform playing both sides, the longest it has taken Russian forces to reach the outskirts of the Estonian and/or Latvian capitals of Tallinn and Riga, respectively, Is 60 hours. Such a rapid defeat would leave NATO with a limited number of options, all bad: a bloody counteroffensive, fraught with escalatory risk, to liberate the Baltics; to escalate itself, as it threatened to do to avert defeat during the Cold War; or to concede at least temporary defeat, with uncertain but predictably disastrous consequences for the Alliance and, not incidentally, the people of the Baltics.”
Russia is on the move and all students of Bible Prophecy are watching closely to see where Russia takes this military drill. We know that these forces of the Russian federation are going to end up on the northern mountains of Israel in the near future, please pray that God will give mercy and compassion!

Psalm 106

This is the last Psalm in book four. It ends book four with the judgment of God on Israel. God did so much for Israel but they did not understand or believe in the great works of God. It is unfortunate when God does great things and people disregard His works! Psalm 105 and 106 form a pair. Psalm 106 is one of the “Hallelujah psalms” (106, 113, 117, 135, and 146–150).

The history behind much of this Psalm is contained in the book of Numbers. Moses is mentioned three times by name (vs.16, 23, 32) and those times include Korah’s rebellion in Numbers 16, the golden calf in Ex.32, and the waters of Meribah in Numbers 20. These times of rebellion against the Lord were the reasons for all of the Lord’s discipline of His people. In all of it though, the Lord did not abandon His people. This Psalm is one of the “Hallel Psalms.” These Psalms were sung by pilgrims as they made their way to Jerusalem for the various feast days in Israel. These Psalms were used to prepare the hearts of the pilgrims for worship and to remind them of the greatness and glory of God. They served to remind the worshipers that they were on their way to exalt a majestic, glorious God, and that He was worthy of all the praises they could offer to Him. Psalm 106 makes us think seriously about our sin and therefore to think seriously about the Savior. The depth of our sin is very great. Many make a big mistake when they point the finger at Israel and think that they never commit these sins.

Read vss.6-39 and make a list of the sins? What do you notice about the nature of the sins? Did you notice that God kept using the word, ‘they’ and these are corporate sins? Read vss.13, 19, 24, 28, 32, 34, and 37 and make a list of the types of sins. I notice that idolatry, immorality, and killing innocents are prominent in the Lords list! An important word in the text is remember, read vs.4, 7, and 45 and note what you learn from the word remember? Ask the Lord, am I guilty of any of these sins? Confess and pray for repentance.
During the wandering in the wilderness, they complained about manna. Do you complain about your food? They complained about their leadership, do you complain about your leaders? They made the golden calf, do you have any idols in your life? When God gave them the promised land, they complained about that, grumbled when the 12 spies came out, are you grumbling against the Lord about any of His provisions in your life? They listened to the false prophet Balaam, are you listening to false prophets? When God gave them water from the rock, they provoked the Lord, are you provoking the Lord? I love vs.30-31 because God gave His righteousness to Phineas, why? Read Numbers 25:10-13, I Sam.2:35, Ezekiel 44:10-15, and Mal.2:4? What we learn from this incident is that God keeps His promises and gives righteousness to those who walk in faith!

Prophecy Update: Sept.8, 2017

Several things are happening at once that are really troubling around the world. The first two are related to Bible prophecy; First is the Russian aggression into the Middle East and Europe; Second, is the threats from North Korea. The third concern for American’s is the hurricanes.

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley said North Korea’s Kim Jong Un was “begging for war” and urged the 15-member U.N. Security Council to impose the “strongest possible” sanctions to deter him. When North Korea tested a hydrogen bomb, my first thought was, where did they get the technology to pull that off? This has caused a firestorm at the UN and in the press, for instance: “North Korea Tests Its Most Powerful Nuclear Bomb Yet” according to Frontpage Magazine. When this powerful nuclear bomb test is coupled with North Korea’s successful test launching of intercontinental ballistic missiles and with intelligence reports indicating that North Korea has mastered the capability to miniaturize a nuclear warhead that can fit onto its missiles, the regime appears to be closer than ever to presenting a credible nuclear threat to the United States mainland. However, without even bothering about re-entry, North Korea may already have the capability today to detonate a nuclear bomb in the upper atmosphere, generating an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) that could virtually destroy the US.’s electrical grid and communications systems. An EMP attack would affect transportation as well as critical food, water and medical supplies. Millions of people could die as a result. North Korea has in fact threatened just such an attack. President Trump responded to North Korea’s latest nuclear test provocation via his usual channel of choice, Twitter. The president first tweeted: “North Korea has conducted a major Nuclear Test. Their words and actions continue to be very hostile and dangerous to the United States…

The threat to the United States is exacerbated by Russia and China. It has been reported for years how China and Russia have helped the North Koreans to get around any sanctions imposed by the USA. For instance, North Korea makes a lot of things for China and then they put made in China on the product when it in fact was made in North Korea. The North Koreans also have a slave labor force in other countries making money for the regime. The New York Times had this report: “For decades, North Korea has been accused of sending workers abroad and confiscating most of their wages, an arrangement that activists liken to slave labor. Researchers say the practice has expanded since Mr. Kim took power, with more than 50,000 workers now toiling in up to 40 countries.” Fox News had this headline on July 28th, “Russia, China are North Korea’s ‘enablers,’ Tillerson says.”
Tillerson labeled the two U.S. rivals the “principal economic enablers” of North Korea’s weapons programs, and called on them to ramp up efforts to curb the growing nuclear threat from Pyongyang. What North Korea does to go around the US ban on selling coal is to take their coal to Russia on railroad cars and then to China. China lies to everyone that their not getting coal from North Korea because it goes to Russia. Russia gets a cut and China gets their coal. Russia and China help North Korea to be the thorn in our side without the finger being pointed at them. It is called asymmetrical warfare. China and Russia use North Korea for their war with the USA. China told the USA that they stopped the boats with coal from North Korea. LIE!! They just brought it in through rail.

We are in a time of wars and rumors of wars partly because the USA has never learned that Communists and Islamists always lie to advance their goal of destroying the USA. They lie and we trust them. Our news reports are woefully inadequate because they assume that they are always telling the truth. It is very frustrating! For instance, Russia just promised not to use nukes in the coming war between the US and North Korea. Does anyone believe that? Russia has threatened the USA several times in the last few years with nukes. Russia will not be part of the sanctions on North Korea because the west has put sanctions on Russia. The alliance of North Korea, China, Russia, and Iran is real and could lead to World War 3.

The United States just experienced the hurricane Harvey and the destruction that it brought to Texas. Now, Irma is coming to Florida and two nuclear power plants are in its path. The nuclear power plant on Turkey Point weathered a category five direct hit in 1992 with Andrew. We need to hope that God will protect these power plants because their destruction would be a terrible disaster for the country. Irma is unusual because it is the largest hurricane in history. Here is how the press and FEMA are lying to people about this storm: in 1992 they released these statistics on Andrew—Category 5, maximum winds at 165 and storm diameter of 400 miles. Irma is going to hit Florida as a category 4 with maximum winds at 185 and storm diameter of 650 miles. When I saw this chart I could not believe that they think we are that stupid. FEMA is hemorrhaging money and trying to encourage the people by posting it as category 4—it is not true.
As many of you know, I have been keeping my eye on Russia the last few weeks. I am concerned because their rise is consistent with the prophecies of the Bible. In the Middle East, they have become a real threat to Israel. Russia uses the Palestinian Authority like they use North Korea. They back the Palestinians against Israel because Israel is an enemy of Russia. The latest fiasco from them came when the Palestinians asked the UN to call them a ‘state under occupation.’ When you watch how the Chinese and Russians vote in the UN against the Israeli’s at every turn it becomes clear that they are enemies. The Financial Express news reported that the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) leaders “unveil the Xiamen Declaration in which member countries pledge to play an increasingly important role in resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in order to achieve peace and stability in the Middle East based on the United Nations resolution.” This happened on Sept.4th just a few days ago.

Article four says: “We draw satisfaction from the many fruitful results of our cooperation, including establishing the New Development Bank (NDB) and the Contingent Reserve Arrangement (CRA), formulating the Strategy for BRICS Economic Partnership, strengthening political and security cooperation including through Meetings of BRICS High Representatives for Security Issues and Foreign Ministers Meetings, and deepening the traditional ties of friendship amongst our peoples.”

This is the rise of an economic and military power to stand against America and the West. I was floored by number six though for it is a lie from the pit of hell.

Article six: “We will emphasize fairness and justice to safeguard international and regional peace and stability. We will stand firm in upholding a fair and equitable international order based on the central role of the United Nations, the purposes and principles enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations and respect for international law, promoting democracy and the rule of law in international relations, and making joint efforts to address common traditional and non-traditional security challenges, so as to build a brighter shared future for the global community.” This is Russia and China lying to the world again. They care about fairness and justice about as much as the Palestinians care about Israel. There is much in this declaration economically that I can write about. Most of it will fit the coming system from the anti-Christ. However, I want to focus on the Israeli connection.
Under the International Peace and Security section of the agreement, they say this: “We condemn unilateral military interventions, economic sanctions and arbitrary use of unilateral coercive measures in violation of international law and universally recognized norms of international relations. We emphasize that no country should enhance its security at the expense of the security of others.” As China does the exact opposite in the South China Sea and Russia does the exact opposite in the Ukraine, can we believe anything they say about Israel?

Article 42: “We reiterate the urgent need for a just, lasting and comprehensive solution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in order to achieve peace and stability in the Middle East on the basis of relevant United Nations resolutions, the Madrid Principles, the Arab Peace Initiative and previous agreements between the parties through negotiations with a view to creating an independent, viable, territorially contiguous Palestinian State living side by side in peace and security with Israel. Committed to making greater contribution to such solution, we express readiness to enhance our contribution towards a just and lasting resolution of the Middle East conflict and support international efforts to promote peace and stability in the region.”
I have it on good authority from God that Russia and China are going to attack Israel. These prophecies are in the books of Ezekiel and Revelation. Jesus even said that they would cry peace, peace, and then sudden destruction would come upon them. Notice how the resolution emphasizes all of the other failed peace processes imposed on Israel. Oslo, Madrid, and the Arab peace plans are all failures and will never work. Can I ask the question: why is it urgent? Why is it when it comes to Middle East peace it is always urgent to solve it? All relevant UN resolutions against Israel are anti-Semitic rants which will never bring the desired peace. Why does China care what happens in the Middle East?

This is another example of Bible Prophecy coming together in the last days. What a thrilling time to be alive. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for those who are in the path of the hurricane. My family is in Florida and they have not left yet. If they stay, we pray for them that they are safe and can help others. My sisters and their children live in the Tampa Bay area and my sister in law/ family lives on the east coast of the state. Pray for safety and that the Lord will get glory!

Psalm 105: The greatness of the Abrahamic Covenant

When God makes a promise, He keeps it. The Abrahamic Covenant is at the heart of this Psalm, and strangely for some, the first 15 verses are quoted in I Chronicles 16:8-22. That is significant because the Chronicles passage is about David bringing the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem. What is the connection?
The heart of a promise is in its fulfillment. God systematically fulfills promises and that is what is happening with the land promise. (vs.7-11) When David uses this passage to highlight the moving of the ark into Jerusalem, it is testimony that God keeps the promise. The promise of the land included God ruling from the land in general and the city of Jerusalem specifically.

Vs.1-6: Praise is commanded: The nations need to know about what God is doing and so the first verse commands us to give thanks and make known among the nations what He has done. What God has done is to keep His promise to Abraham. This is a more comprehensive answer today than what it was when the Psalm was written. Here are the basics for today—first, God fulfilled the first part of the promise when He brought Israel out of Egypt which this Psalm highlights. Second, God established the 12 tribes in the land in Joshua and Judges. Third, He gave them a king after His own heart in David which fulfilled the promise in Deuteronomy 17. Fourth, God fulfilled the prophecy of removing them from the land so He can bring Messiah. Fifth, God is now fulfilling His promise to bring them back to the land (Romans 11:12)

Vs.7-42 Praise for What God Did!
According to vs.7-11, God calls the land covenant an everlasting covenant which is consistent with Gen.17:7-8. This means that the covenant is not dependent on man but on God who made it. God protected His investment of the land by protecting His people when they were in Egypt. As the patriarchs were in the land, they were among the 7 nations and were strangers because it was not their land yet. God protected them and sent them to Egypt to prepare the land for the soon coming of the people of Israel.(16-23) After 400 years God fulfilled His first promise of the land. Moses brought the people out and Joshua conquered the seven nations. (37-45)
The key people in this Psalm are Joseph, Moses, and Joshua. In vss.42-45 God gives us the reason God did this—what is it? When God says, “He remembered His holy word with Abraham His servant” what was God doing? When you remember a promise you try to fulfill it! God did just that when He fulfilled the prophecy of Gen.15! Now God is fulfilling the promise of Jeremiah 30-33 and God has done very similar things. He has kept the land for the Jews, He is driving out the nations that are occupying the land, and He is bringing the Jews back from all of the nations of the world. This fulfillment is like the first one. Praise God today for always keeping His promises.

Prophecy Update: Russia, Zapad 2017, Israel and the Temple.

I want to do a follow up from last weeks post on Russia. Some background information first. The Russians have a strange obsession about their borders. Many of the generals involved with trying to protect Western Europe are constantly talking about this obsession. The Russians believe that NATO is moving into the states of Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia for a future attack on Russia. They do not like the idea of their enemies being on their doorstep. They also believe that they are land locked and need a warm water port. President Putin uses this obsession to his advantage when talking to his own people. It may be hard for us to understand as Americans but Russia suffered greatly in WW2, and they believe this obsession so strongly it propelled them to invade Crimea and take eastern Ukraine back. When the United States pushed for Ukraine to be in NATO, the Russians went ballistic. For them it was World War Three! When you think about the city of Kiev, what do you think about? I immediately think that it is a major Russian city. Kiev is the capital of the Ukraine and the Russians will not stop until Kiev is theirs! After the fall of the Soviet Union, President Putin said that it is the worst tragedy of the 20th century. He has written often of his desire to have the states of Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, and Belarus as his!

The West believes that it is important to put defensive weapons in the countries of Ukraine, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia and that freaks the Russians out. The Russians attacked and took back the Crimea partly because of these moves from the West. It is unfounded in any military doctrine that defensive weapons are offensive, but the Russians do not look at that way. They see the move of a defensive missile shield as a threat to their country. Now here is the rub you might say. Ukraine is not in NATO so when Russia attacked her, there was nothing that the West could do. Even making this statement makes me sick to my stomach because there was a lot that the West could do, but the spirit of Neville Chamberlain prevails in NATO.

Since 2014, Russia has systematically taken back eastern Ukraine, the Crimea, and they moved troops into position to take back the Baltic States of Lithuania, Estonia, and Latvia. To counteract that, this year America moved more assets into position to stop them. This included a missile defense shield into Poland and military hardware into the Baltic States. When the missile defense shield went up Putin warned these states of possible war. Fox News in May of 2016 had this report: “Romania and Poland are in the potential crosshairs of Russian rockets because they are hosting parts of the U.S. missile defense shield that Moscow considers a threat to its national security, President Vladimir Putin warned Friday.” Here is where the drama gets even bigger and more dangerous. Zapad 2017 is about to happen in the middle of September, a military exercise of over 100,000 Russian troops.
Before I talk about Zapad 2017, a little history; since 2013 President Putin has ordered a series of no-notice snap exercises, often involving up to 50,000 troops. Four of these drills took place in 2013 and a fifth in February of 2014. These snap drills included airborne troops, armoured vehicles, attack helicopters, and a variety of nuclear scenarios. The fifth snap exercise was the invasion of Crimea and launched the war with Ukraine. In Russia, they see the war with Ukraine as a war with the United States and her allies. In an earlier exercise called Kavkaz 2008, Putin launched an invasion of Georgia! Military deception is an art at which Russia excels! So do I worry that Zapad 2017 is the pretext for war with the Baltic States? Yes I do, and I would not put it past the Russians to use the threat of nukes to make the Neville Chamberlain states of Germany, France, and Greece to make sure that NATO does nothing. Article Five of the NATO treaty states that if any of the 28 countries of NATO are attacked then the other 27 have to come to her defense.
Since Ukraine was not a NATO state, none of the other nations were obligated to come help her, but that will not be the case when Russia attacks the Baltic States! If Latvia invokes article five, then all of the states of NATO have to come to her aid or the treaty is useless. When you hear Germany, France, and Britain state publicly that they should not be responsible to help the Latvians, I shudder! When President Trump called out the NATO states that do not live up to their financial and military obligations, then all of the press attacked Trump as the one who would not keep Article Five. It is exactly the opposite, these states do not want to go save the Latvians or any of the Baltic States, they have the spirit of Chamberlain, they will watch the Russians take back the Baltics and say they can do nothing about it. That is the spirit of the day in which we live. The only ones with the courage to keep Article Five are the Americans, the Polish, the Baltic States, and the British military. I have real doubts about the rest.
I say this because of all of the news reports that I have read the last few years on the subject and because of one man, General Sir Richard Shirreff, Deputy Commander of all NATO forces. Since he retired in 2016, he has been speaking out about this problem and wrote a book about it called “War With Russia.” Shirreff explains that since NATO has decided to weaken her forces and downgrade all of their conventional forces, the only thing to deter Russia is the threat of nuclear weapons. Here is his quote, “The most terrifying scenario is that without strong conventional deterrence—tanks, planes, artillery, ships, and boots on the ground—the only remaining line of defense for a NATO facing imminent military defeat is nuclear weapons. The growing weakness of the West’s conventional forces means that the only way Russia can be deterred or defeated is by the threat or use of nuclear weapons. The USA, UK, and France are the only nuclear states in NATO and the Russian president will calculate that they would never risk the near total destruction of human civilization in the US and Europe for the sake of three small Baltic States.” Do you hear what this general is saying, he is sharing his heart over many years of pleading with the European states to spend on their militaries so that there is a deterrence. He said, “This is why maintaining an effective conventional deterrent—military forces that can fight and hold off the Russians if they attack, but above all to persuade them not to attack in the first place—is critical.” (War With Russia pg.xxxvi) I would say it like this, since NATO has mostly decided to depend on the United States to do all of the heavy lifting, they have decided to put their money in other places and let the defense of Europe fall to the Americans once again. There are exceptions of course, but the bottom line is that the Russians are taking advantage of the situation.
Another problem we face with Russia is the constant violation of the Vienna Accords, designed to avert misunderstandings during war games. The accords stipulate that any drill involving more than 9,000 troops requires advance notification of at least 42 days and any exercise involving more than 13,000 troops must be preceded by an invitation to the other 56 participating states to send two observers. Russia has never obeyed or followed the accords.
Operation Zapad will include more than 100,000 troops and they will practice the launching of tactical nuclear weapons. Since Russia always breaks the rules with their snap exercises, NATO sits idly by and watches, nervously wondering if war is about to take place, hoping but doing nothing. All of the moves made by the United States and NATO up to this point are not a deterrent to Russia. It is seen as weak and ineffective by the Russians and they are dancing with glee over how weak the West has become. The last Zapad drills four years ago, the Russians announced that they would only use 12,000 troops and it was 72,000 troops.

Since the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, Russia and Belarus have staged the Zapad combined strategic exercise in 1999, 2009, 2013, and this September 14-20 in Belarus. The Jamestown Foundation news division reports that the exercises will include both ‘defensive and offensive operations rehearsed against a scenario driven by US/NATO intervention into Belarus.’ NATO believes that the Russians are going to annex Belarus and use it as a launching pad for fighting in the Ukraine and the Baltic States. So the Russians are on the move and very confident of their military ability to overcome anything NATO does. This confidence by Russia is also being exhibited in Syria.
In Syria, the Russians have deployed the S-400 anti-missile defense system and Y-Net news reported, “Russia stations S-400 batteries near Iranian arms factory in Syria” This news is bad for Israel on several fronts. This gives Iran the ability to ship more missiles to Hezbollah and with the Russians help, Israel is in grave danger. Y-Net also reported about this: “Hezbollah, which has already accumulated over 100,000 rockets, is now seeking to target specific sensitive sites in Israel. To that end, it has been trying to obtain long-range guided missiles by smuggling them from Iran through Syria.” This war coming with Iran and Hezbollah is prophesied in the Bible. However this war happens, God will use it to bless Israel and prepare them for the “Day of the Lord.”
Israel is telling the world of this problem: “At the start of a meeting with U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, Netanyahu said Iran was turning Syria into a “base of military entrenchment as part of its declared goal to eradicate Israel.” The intensity of these meetings is clarified in this statement by Prime Minister Netanyahu, “Netanyahu made a statement on Wednesday during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow, claiming that Israel would bomb Bashar Assad’s palace in Damascus unless Iran gives up its activities.” Isaiah 17 talks about God destroying Damascus. This city has seen its fair share of destruction the last few years so it is systematically being destroyed. The final blow is coming very soon. Bible prophecy is being fulfilled in our day, turn your eyes up and pray to the Lord for mercy. God is not mocked, whatever man sows this will he reap. The Middle East and Russia/Iran axis has sown seeds of war, God will give them the whirlwind! This is the greatest time to be alive, consider it all joy my friends. The Lord knows how to keep His people in times of trouble and the shouts of war, war when there is such a false peace. Maranatha!
The Temple will be rebuild out of the chaos of this war. God is already moving the wheels of history to make that happen. I hope your ready to give a reason for the hope that is in you for this fact of prophecy. As many Christians believe that we should not have a temple on the earth, God says it will happen, it will be His temple, and anti-christ will pervert it. Are you ready!

Prophecy Update: Russia and the Coming War

Early in 1977 a retired NATO general called together six of his collegues–including an admiral, an airman, an economist and a diplomat–to write a dramatized game-plan for the next world war. General John Hackett wrote, “The Third World War – The Untold Story.” I read this book in the early 1980’s and it was an intriguing study of the war fighting abilities of the NATO countries in conflict with the Soviet bloc nations. In the end the Americans lead the forces of the nations allied with them to victory. It might surprise you to learn that one of the problems that the Soviets faced was using conscripts who hated the Soviet Union. The KGB forces would line up behind the conscripts and force them into battle and they would shoot their own people if they retreated. In all of history, slave armies can never win battles against free armies.

Another British General has written a book about war with Russia. Consider this summary of the book: “The rapid rise in Russia’s power over the course of the last ten years has been matched by a stunning lack of international diplomacy on the part of its president, Vladimir Putin. One consequence of this, when combined with Europe’s rapidly shifting geopolitics, is that the West is on a possible path toward nuclear war. Former deputy commander of NATO General Sir Richard Shirreff speaks out about this very real peril in this call to arms, a novel that is a barely disguised version of the truth. In chilling prose, it warns allied powers and the world at large that we risk catastrophic nuclear conflict if we fail to contain Russia’s increasingly hostile actions.” To set up the fiction part of the book, Shirreff states in the forward that the West and NATO have not responded to the Russian aggression.

In 2008 Russia invaded into Georgia and the response from the West and Nato was nothing. Shirreff said of this, “So an initial Russian toe in the invasion waters had shown Putin what he could get away with; Hitler and the reoccupation of the Rhineland in 1936 came strongly to my mind, even as far back as 2008.” (pg. xx Preface) When Russia invaded and took back the Crimea in 2014 Shirreff said, “The annexation of Crimea and the President’s vow to reunite ‘Russian speakers’ in the former republics of the Soviet Union under the banner of Mother Russia, was little different from Hitler’s annexation of the Sudetenland in 1938.” (pg. xvi Preface)

The attitude of the Russians and Putin is summarized in this speech by Putin, “Russia and the Ukraine are ‘one nation’ and Kiev is the mother of Russian cities.’ Here is where the threat of war with Russia is greater today than any time in history. Russia is not a slave state anymore, their armed forces is full of people who believe in Mother Russia and the need to protect her borders. It is anathema to the Russians that their borders are protected by nations in NATO. Ukraine is not in NATO but the West made a mistake in 2008 to promise Ukraine membership in NATO. Putin invaded Georgia as a message to the west, don’t mess with our borders.

In 1994, after the fall of the Soviet Union, many nations broke off from the Soviet Union. Four of those nations are in grave danger of invasion today. Those four nations are Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, and Ukraine and Ukraine is currently at war with Russia. Slowly but surely, Ukraine has fallen to the Russians. The West has done nothing but shown pacifism that would embolden someone like Putin. 1994 was an important date for another reason; the ‘Budapest Memorandum’ was an agreement between America, Russia, and the British in which Ukraine agreed to give up its nuclear weapons in return for US and Russia guarantees of its territorial integrity. Shirreff said, “Russia had torn up the Budapest Memorandum and Obama had chosen to forget American promises.” In 2014 there was this article in the British paper Daily Mail that bears on this problem:

Revealed: The forgotten treaty which could drag the US and UK into WAR with Russia if Putin’s troops intervene in Ukraine

“Bill Clinton, John Major, Boris Yeltsin and Leonid Kuchma – the then-rulers of the USA, UK, Russia and Ukraine – agreed to the The Budapest Memorandum as part of the denuclearization of former Soviet republics after the dissolution of the Soviet Union. Technically it means that if Russia has invaded Ukraine then it would be difficult for the US and Britain to avoid going to war.” This article goes on to explain how the West found a way to disregard the Memorandum and this pacifism started in spades. Ukraine made a big mistake, they should have never given up its nukes and Russia would not have invaded. The Baltic States are a different story though. They are NATO countries and the US is obligated to fight if Russia invades. Will we?

We broke the treaty with Ukraine and we are breaking our promises to the Baltic States. I hope that President Trump will not follow the pacifism of the Obama Administration. Vice President Pence went to Estonia on July 30th and it was encouraging. TALLINN, Estonia — “U.S. Vice-President Mike Pence on Monday strongly pledged America’s commitment to protecting NATO allies against attacks, including the Baltic states, which have anxiously watched a growing Russian military presence in the region.” Putin responded, “Russian President Vladimir Putin on Sunday ordered the U.S. to cut its embassy and consulate staff in Russia by 755 people.”
In spite of what President Trump is doing to stand against the Russians, the State department is against his focus on Europe. In 2015 there was a new foreign policy initiative by President Obama called the “Asia Pacific Pivot.” Shirreff said of this, “At that time there was a massive reduction in American forces stationed in Germany. How ironic it was that a month after Putin invaded Crimea the last American tanks left German soil after 69 years.” Shirreff goes on to catalogue the pacifism of the last 3 years that has emboldened Putin to move troops into position to fight, threatened American and British naval and air force troops with fly byes, and taken more land in Syria and replaced ISIS forces with Russian and Iranian forces. Russia has concluded that Britain, Germany, France, and the nations of the European Union have lost the resolve to fight. Has America lost her resolve? Certainly, Pres. Trump has not but our political and intellectual elites say that Trump is nuts and we do not need to rearm. Our nation is in grave danger of war.

Here are the facts: Putin has increased tension in the Middle East in order to spread more Muslims into Europe to destabilize Europe. 2014: 283,532, 2015: 1,822,260 2016: 381,307, and now according to NATO, Putin is weaponizing migration to undermine Europe, causing Libyans to go into Italy. Russia is moving more troops into Belarus, on the Israel border, and more to the Baltic states borders. Hungary, Moldavia, Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia, and Montenegro all have turned away from NATO and the European Union to ally with Russia. A Gallup poll in Greece showed that Greece chooses Russia over NATO. Russia is starting military war games. On Aug.10th the Economist reported that ‘Russia’s largest war game in Europe since the cold war alarms NATO.’ Yet Russia’s upcoming Zapad 2017 military exercises with 13,000 troops near the Baltic States’ borders in September may further strain relations. Russia reported 13,000 soldiers participating but they moved 100,000 troops into position for the war games. The Lithuanian President is so alarmed that she called for the US to move troops into her country. What did NATO and America do, we sent 1000 troops to each of the three Baltic States, what a joke. Consider this headline in a military magazine, ‘US Commander Warns NATO Couldn’t Repel Russian Baltic Invasion.’
NATO would currently be unable to protect the Baltics against a Russian attack, the commander of US ground forces in Europe, General Ben Hodges, said in a news report Wednesday. “Russia could take over the Baltic states faster than we would be able to defend them,” Hodges was quoted as saying in a German-language article by news weekly Die Zeit. He said they would fall in 36 to 60 hours! This is the most important fact: NATO has 31,500 troops defending Europe and Russia has 1,605,000 troops in position to invade!

This week Prime Minister Netanyahu of Israel went to Russia to meet with Putin. Problem is that the Iranian and Russian troops are growing on the border of Israel. The more Israel accepts Russian troops there and only publicly worry about Iran and not Russian troops, the closer to the GOG MAGOG war we get! Netanyahu told Putin that they may act to stop Iran in Syria! “Iran is already well on its way to controlling Iraq, Yemen and to a large extent is already in practice in control of Lebanon,” Netanyahu told Putin. “We cannot forget for a single minute that Iran threatens every day to annihilate Israel,” Netanyahu said. “Israel opposes Iran’s continued entrenchment in Syria. We will be sure to defend ourselves with all means against this and any threat.” I doubt Putin has any desire to help Israel and is aligned with Iran. Israel will get no help from Putin! In fact, Putin may be GOG and is even now being drawn into a war with Israel.
Bible Prophecy does not happen at the whims of man. It happens on God’s time, and the Lord has brought Russia into Syria on the border with Israel. Aligned with Iran, Russia is not there because of geopolitics, it is because God is causing them to be there for His purpose of judging them!
Ezekiel 38:2, Thus says the Lord GOD, “Behold, I am against you, O Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal. 3 “I will turn you about and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you out, and all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them. 8 “After many days you will be summoned; in the latter years you will come into the land that is restored from the sword, 39:2 and I will turn you around, drive you on, take you up from the remotest parts of the north and bring you against the mountains of Israel.” It is clear that God is even now dragging Russia and Iran into Syria so that they can attack Israel. The appeasement of the West has emboldened Russia—pray that they will be restrained.

Psalm 103: Blessing the LORD

The next four Psalms are alike, they center on praise and blessing. Compare Ps.103:1, 104:1, 105:1, and 106:1? What do you observe? All praise and blessing is dependent on how big God’s work and ways impact the worshipper. Here is an outline explaining this truth:
• 1-5: Praise for God’s Work
• 6-10: Praise for God’s Ways
• 11-18: Praise for God’s Warm-Heartedness
• 19-22: Praise for God’s Word

David demonstrates for us how we should approach the Lord. Read vss.1-5 and note that David praises God for five things. God is personal; He is in relationship with His children because He loves His children. David begins his praise with God ‘who pardons all your iniquities.’ In Leviticus this word for pardon is translated ‘forgiveness’ because as a believer did sacrifices God fulfilled His word to forgive. Is.55:7 says, “Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; And let him return to the LORD, And He will have compassion on him, And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.” David also mentions God healing, redeeming, crowning, and satisfying us as His children. Lovingkindness is mentioned four times in the passage (vss.4, 8, 11, and 17)

In vss.6-10 God focuses on His ways. It is very important for us to read the Torah, the first five books of the Bible. The reason is given to us in vs.7 “He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the sons of Israel.” If you want to know what God is like, we need to not neglect the Old Testament. It is very hard for Christians in our day to read the Old Testament because there are some gaps between us and the text. Some of the gaps are historical, cultural, and the type of language used. All of these can be overcome. Most Christians only read the New Testament and have an unclear view of God because of it. Jesus knew and read from the OT all of the time. What does God focus on in vs.6-10? Does God get angry? When did He get angry? What promises does He give? It is clear in the scriptures that God gets angry, remember the flood, Sodom and Gomorrah, and the Exodus? It is important to work these things out because God is bringing days of vengeance on the earth in the near future.

In vss.11-18 God shows how warm hearted He is! A key verse is vs.12, “As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.” When God forgives, He does not remember or bring it up again. God forgives and has great compassion on His children. From Abraham we have received a great covenant in which God forgives us His children. Each subsequent covenant has shown us the great forgiveness and love of God. It is topped off by the New Covenant and the payment for our sins in Jesus. As humans, we are frail and finite, but God’s lovingkindness is everlasting!

In vss.19-22 God shows us how important His Word is! The key verse for the whole Psalm is vs.19, “The LORD has established His throne in the heavens, And His sovereignty rules over all.” What is foundational to all doctrine and belief is the sovereignty of God over all things. The Word of God is about the works and ways of God. You cannot escape God’s sovereignty either in life or in the scriptures. God rules over all things and that includes the invisible world. In the invisible world are angels and God brings up His rule over the angels in this passage. They are mighty, they perform His Word! What angels do better than humans is obey His Word. Have you blesses the Lord over His angels today? He ends the Psalm with a strange phrase, ‘all you works of His in all places of His dominion.’ In other words, where in all of the creation has God not worked or reigned? When we bless the Lord in all of these things, we can be sure that the Lord is still in control and He still loves us!

Prophecy Update: Friday August 18, 2017

I am concerned that people are not paying attention to how God works in history. The general knee jerk reaction of many Christians is that God does not cause wars, weather, and hard times. They prefer to see those things as coming from Satan. I faced this head on when 9/11 happened in 2001. The sovereignty of God dictates that God is in charge of all that happens in history. Proverbs 16:4 says, The LORD has made everything for its own purpose, even the wicked for the day of evil.” Notice that the verse says, “The Lord made everything for its own purpose; Learn then this basic truth, that the Creator is absolutely Sovereign, executing His own will, performing His own pleasure, and considering nought but His own glory.” (A.W. Pink Sovereignty of God) God did not make the world and then withdraw so He has no part in the working of the creation. God is the designer and the sustainer of the creation. Hebrews 1:3 says that God is upholding all things by the word of His power. God controls the universe and the nations. Do you see that the nations are on a collision course with destiny?

Bill Koening wrote that the last eight and a half years have been terrible for America. He mentions these evils advanced in America from the Obama administration:
• The government ran roughshod over the U.S. Constitution.
• Undermined America’s Judicial System
• World’s number one promoter of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT)
• Celebrated Supreme Court decision on same-sex marriage with a rainbow imaged on the White House
• Directed a destructive transformation of the U.S. military
• Lectured God-fearing Christians on how to behave
• A Muslim apologist and defender of Islam in America
• Passionate about Middle East refugees coming to America
• Expressed no emotion over Christians being persecuted for their faith
• Endangered Israel and U.S. Middle East allies by destabilizing the region
• U.S. Federal Debt will almost double to $20 trillion; Federal Reserve debt increased over $4 trillion; personal debt at record levels.

With these things in mind, the election of Donald Trump has thrown the advocates of Communism in our land into a demonic frenzy. When is the last time you saw the promotion of assassinating the president of the United States in the press and Hollywood? Newsweek had this headline in June, “Johnny Depp is Not the First Celebrity to Joke About Wanting Donald Trump Dead.” Madonna also threatened the president when she said, “Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House.” Snoop Dog shot a music video advocating the assassination of the president. Perhaps the most direct and shocking of the Trump assassination stories was that of the U.S. comedian Kathy Griffin who posed in a photoshoot holding a bloodied fake head that clearly depicted Trump. The New York City-based organization staged a modern interpretation of William Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar in the city’s Central Park in May and June. The play sparked criticism for its depiction of the lead character in the style of Trump, replete with wild blond hair and an oversized red tie. As in Shakespeare’s original, Caesar is assassinated by his close ally Brutus and others in the performance. The University of Central Florida allowed the unregistered student group the Knights of Socialism to hold an event last month during which they encouraged kids to bash pinatas of Trump and other top Trump administration officials. Around the nine-minute mark of a video they posted, one boy asks if he can “kill Donald Trump.”
The Presidents worldview is polar opposite of the alt left. The alt left is made up of those who wish to destroy the constitution and remake America in their own image. Unfortunately for us, most of the media goes along with the alt left. What the alt left cannot stand is Jesus and His church. Those who tell the truth about what is happening are anathema to them. Thus, so much hate is coming through what they are saying and doing. Make no mistake, this is Satanic and our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the world forces of darkness! This darkness extends from our country to communist North Korea and China.

“The Clinton, Bush and Obama administrations all opted not to take concerted action against North Korea, instead embracing the easy road of appeasement. All three let the threat grow as they kicked the North Korean nuclear can down the road. They engaged in nuclear talks with Pyongyang that North Korea exploited to develop nuclear weapons and missile systems.” China has used the North Korean peninsula as their personal tool against the west. Now that nuclear war is a real possibility, people have fear in their hearts. Do not fear, Jesus has a great plan in all of this. Just as the North Korean deals were designed to prevent them from getting nuclear bombs and failed, so the Iran deal will also fail. Consider this headline:

Obama’s Iran Deal Sounds a Lot Like Clinton’s Failed North Korea Deal July 20, 2015 5:00 am Washington Free Beacon
“President Obama’s defense of his nuclear deal with Iran echoes President Bill Clinton’s defense of his disastrous nuclear deal with North Korea, the Free Beacon found.” In 1994, the Clinton administration tried to entice North Korea to forgo its nuclear program by giving it oil, nuclear energy technology, and sanctions relief. The deal collapsed after a decade when North Korea pocketed U.S. concessions and raced for the bomb. The hermit kingdom tested its first nuclear weapon in 2006 and has subsequently developed enough nuclear material for six bombs. Today, the Obama administration is trying to entice Iran to forgo its nuclear program by giving it nuclear technology, $100 to $150 billion in previously-frozen assets, and sanctions relief on its weapons trade, ballistic missile program, and top military commanders. The restrictions on Iran’s nuclear program begin to subside after eight years, leaving the Islamic republic with near-zero breakout time to construct a bomb when the deal ends.

When this was taking place in 2015 and 2016 I was resigned to the fact that Obama was going to be successful in his attempt to help Iran get the bomb. I fought against it, went to senators offices, went to Washington D.C. to lobby against it, and all the time knowing in my heart that my efforts were going to be fruitless. I thought this way because I know Bible prophecy. Iran needed to strengthen and America needed to weaken for the Ezekiel 38-39 prophecy to be fulfilled. The Washington Free Press article went on to say:

“Both Clinton and Obama claimed that their deals reduced the risk of nuclear proliferation, although Clinton’s deal ultimately led to further proliferation concerns. Since acquiring its nuclear arsenal, North Korea has exported nuclear secrets to other rogue regimes, including Iran and Syria.”

In a very direct way, then, Clinton’s rapprochement with North Korea has contributed to the crisis unfolding in Iran. Iran has used its up to 400 billion dollars to increase terrorism, troops to the border of Israel, to take more land in Iraq and Syria, and to dominate her neighbors.

America and Israel are spiritually connected. When America cursed Israel in this Iran deal, God started judging our country over this evil. We have not yet repented over the sins our country committed the last 5 years. I have been praying that this administration would renounce the Iran deal, declare Jerusalem the capital of Israel, move the embassy, and get rid of the Oberegfell decision which established gay marriage as law. Remember that the Obergefell decision was during the four Blood Moons—June 26, 2015. The Iran deal was July 14th 2015 during the Blood Moons. At the same time, Russia and Iran entered Syria and God set up the Gog Magog war.
The last solar eclipse in the USA was August 21, 1914. There also was a total solar eclipse over Turkey, the Ottoman Empire. As you know, this is when WW1 started and it destroyed the Ottoman Empire. This total solar eclipse is also Aug. 21st and that sends shivers down my spine. If I could say anything to the church and to the nation, repent. August 21 is also the first of Ellul on the biblical calendar. This eclipse is like a sign that the bridge is out—we need to start repenting or God’s judgment will get worse. This is what happened in Haggai 1:1-2, on the first of Ellul God warned the Jews, rebuild the temple. “Thus says the LORD of hosts, ‘This people says, “The time has not come, even the time for the house of the LORD to be rebuilt.” So God began to up the pressure on the Jews until they obeyed. Jesus spoke about signs in the heavens in Luke 21:25, “There will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves.” Signs are for repenting. God is merciful and always give warnings.
Back to Iran and North Korea: The news is that North Korea is about to test another nuke and it is for Iran. Iran and North Korea have client states who have miniaturized Nukes that you can put on a ICBM. Both Iran and North Korea have tested and launched ICBM’s. This is dangerous for all of us and I have yet to see anyone outside of President Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu who has the courage to stand up to the threats. Our greatest need in the USA is not a strong leader but repentance. Europe is so weak but they are looking for a strong leader—they need repentance. From 1917 to 2017, God has been screaming to the nations to repent and we have not. This is why it is the time of the end times, the time of the spirit of the Anti-Christ.
When Jesus died on the cross, He gave two signs that are hard to neglect; An earthquake and an eclipse for 3 hours. What is the objective of the sign: repent and receive Jesus as Lord and Savior. (Matthew 27:45, 51-53) When the eclipse starts in America, it is at the very same moment of the sun setting in Jerusalem. The last eclipse to go across the whole nation was 1918 and we had a flu pandemic that killed 675,000 Americans. God help us!
