I have been studying the Psalms the last few years and I am amazed how the Lord communicates His love for Israel. The Psalmist in Ps.102 faces a personal and national struggle. He is a patriot who loves his nation and his personal problems are worsened because of what is happening to the nation. Today, our nation is in a civil war. As I mentioned in my book, there is a battle between those who want America to be a communist nation and those who want it to continue to live under the Judeo/Christian ethic and worldview. Many can care less and are clueless of the battle. Judge Roy Moore is running for the Senate in Alabama and he represents those who still see the Lord as the God of this nation. The people in Charlottesville Virginia, who rioted and fought each other represent those who want to take down this nation for a dictatorship or communism. I hope this Bible study will give you hope today that the Lord and His promises are still true. He can take us through the struggle of the nation!

Psalm 102: Personal Problem of a Patriot in light of Bible Prophecy

Intro: The historical background is not given in this Psalm but we know that the nation of Israel has experienced a tragedy. The personal tragedy is bound up in the national tragedy. Spurgeon wrote of this Psalm, “it is the patriots lament over his countries distress.” The Holy Spirit gave us a wonderful commentary of this Psalm in vs.18+22. This was written for future generations that would see the fight and the victory that Jesus would have over all of the nations of the world.

102:1-11: Sickness
The prayer in vs.1-2 focuses on the distress that he is feeling. Distress can be translated as enemy or adversary. Although the passage focuses on his personal struggle, the issue is where is the Lord? Read vs.10, what is the Lord doing? Each Christian needs to face the fact that the Lord of heaven and earth brings wrath to the earth and we get caught up in the turmoil.

102:12-17: Security in Faith
This guy turns from his grief and proclaims his faith! The day is coming when the Lord is turning everything around. This guy does not lose faith in what he was taught. Read Psalm 137:1-6? In vs.13 the Psalmist rehearses the promises of God, God has chosen Zion for His habitation and He will come back to her. All of the nations will serve the Lord in Jerusalem. Read Dan.9:16, what do you think of Daniels prayer? Also read I Kings 9:3, what did the Lord say of this city and temple? Has God kept His promise?

102:18-22: Security in Prophecy
This Psalm has been written for our generation. We are the generation that is seeing the reestablishment of Israel, Jerusalem, and the Temple. We are those like in vs.20 now because we see the nations resisting the will of the Lord. The persecution of Christians and Jews over the trust in the sovereignty of God for our day is spreading. In the midst of the persecution, people are operating out of faith; Faith that the nations will be gathered someday to praise the Lord in Jerusalem. In vs.12-22, Zion is mentioned three times and the nations of the world are mentioned four times. The nations will be gathered to Zion to worship and serve the Lord. The Lord gazed at the earth, which means that He regarded or paid attention. (Look up Ps.33:13, 80:14, 119:15, 18)

102:23-28: Servants who Trust

In vss.23-24 the Psalmist is back to lamenting his circumstances but the Holy Spirit was pleased to give us great hope. In vss.25-27 the Lord mentions the sovereignty of God over the creation. This passage is quoted in Hebrews 1:10-12 and reaffirms that Jesus is the creator. What do you learn from this passage? The earth mirrors the servant of God, we may wear out and die, but the Lord never wears out. Our hope is wrapped up in vs.28, we who are the children of the Lord will live on eternally with the Lord!

Prophecy Update: July 14th 2017

This week I want to take a look at a lot of headlines and comment on them. Each of the articles I chose is because they have something to do with prophecy. The first one is about the apostasy in the church. “But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons, by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron.” (1 Timothy 4:1-2).

What do Christianity, Judaism, and Islam have in common? A Christian apologist and educator is warning Christians of the dangers of syncretism, as there’s been a great push to find common theological ground between Christianity and Islam in the last decade. “I would say Jews and Christians should definitely be careful in building leagues and alliances with a belief system that basically believes [Jews and Christians] are infidels and should be coerced into conversion or be executed,” he submits. “I definitely believe that Islam is a religion that is of Satan, not of God,” he says. “I know former Muslims who have converted to Christianity, who have talked about the demonic activity — satanic activity — that is associated with Islam.” For some reason the church is deceived by a false sense of love and compassion. Is it unloving for a Christian to tell the truth about Islam that it is a false religion and the Allah is a false god? When you cannot identify the idols of the age you are bound to be deceived by them. That is the case today in the church unfortunately. Pastor Ron Graham said, On a marquee in front of a church I passed one day were the following words: “The cornerstone of the Christian church is truth not tolerance.”

God has announced to the world that He is bringing all of His people the Jews back to their land, all of it. The world is resisting this in some blatant ways. The world just snubbed its nose at God by declaring that Hebron and Jerusalem are not Jewish cities. Consider these passages: Is.62:4-5, It will no longer be said to you, “Forsaken,” Nor to your land will it any longer be said, “Desolate”; But you will be called, “My delight is in her,” And your land, “Married”; For the LORD delights in you, And to Him your land will be married. For as a young man marries a virgin, So your sons will marry you; And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, So your God will rejoice over you.” Notice how God is very clear that He is going to marry His people to His land! Ezekiel 36:2, says, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “Because the enemy has spoken against you, ‘Aha!’ and, ‘The everlasting heights have become our possession,’ notice that this is the attitude of the whole world today. The UN mocks Israel by taking their land and declaring that it is not Jewish. Ezekiel 36:6-8, Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel and say to the mountains and to the hills, to the ravines and to the valleys, “Thus says the Lord GOD, ‘Behold, I have spoken in My jealousy and in My wrath because you have endured the insults of the nations.’ “Therefore thus says the Lord GOD, ‘I have sworn that surely the nations which are around you will themselves endure their insults. ‘But you, O mountains of Israel, you will put forth your branches and bear your fruit for My people Israel; for they will soon come.” Consider these headlines:

What Occupation? Most Israelis Say This Land is Ours (Israel Today). A growing majority of Israelis no longer sees the presence of Jews or the Israeli military in the so-called “West Bank” as an occupation. Many do see it as a fulfillment of biblical prophecy.

Jerusalem Post 7/11/2017, Berlin mayor rapped for terrorist group fund-raising event. Berlin Mayor Michael Müller was under fire on Monday for failing to stop a local fund-raising event for the terrorist organization the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). The PFLP is responsible for scores of suicide bombings in Israel as well as plane hijackings. In 2001, the PFLP assassinated Israeli tourism minister Rehavam Ze’evi.

In defiance of UNESCO, settlers urge Israeli cabinet meeting at Tomb of Patriarchs By Tovah Lazaroff July 11, 2017 “Israel is still very much incensed by the UN agency’s decision to define Hebron’s Old City and the Tomb of the Patriarchs as endangered Palestinian sites.” The nations are experiencing what Jesus said in Luke 21:24, “And Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.” The times of the Gentiles is coming to an end and Satan and his minions are rebelling.

The world through its governments is attacking the church more and more. Consider this headline from Sweden:

Priests in the Church of Sweden need to perform same-sex “marriages” or find another job, Prime Minister Stefan Löfven told Swedish outlet Kyrkans Tidning. He compared priests unwilling to perform same-sex “weddings” with midwives unwilling to participate in abortions. A Swedish high court recently ruled against a midwife who has fought for years to not be forced to help with abortions. The midwife, Ellinor Grimmark, is taking her case to the European Court of Human Rights. The Church of Sweden allows female clergy. The lesbian bishop of Stockholm, who is “married” to another woman priest, has been criticized for suggesting a church should replace its crosses with Muslim symbols.

I have been amazed at the wars and rumors of wars headlines each week, this one is amazing.

Retired Green Beret Warns: “There Could Be A Nuclear Strike Against The US Coming Soon” As far back as April 7, 2015, Admiral Bill Gortney (the former commander of North American Aerospace Defense, a.k.a. NORAD) gave a press conference in which he warned of North Korea’s capabilities with an ICBM, an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile…warned that North Korea could strike the United States with a nuclear warhead on an ICBM…he stated this in 2015. Six months prior, in October of 2014 Admiral Gortney stated that North Korea had nuclear weapons, had miniaturization capabilities, and could place them on missiles that could reach the continental United States. Fast-forward to this year. There was a joint article that was penned by Dr. Peter V. Pry, America’s foremost expert on EMP (Electromagnetic Pulse) threats posed to the United States by foreign nations and the head of every committee to brief Congress on those issues. “The mainstream media, and some officials who should know better, continue to allege North Korea does not yet have capability to deliver on its repeated threats to strike the U.S. with nuclear weapons. False reassurance is given to the American people that North Korea has not “demonstrated” that it can miniaturize a nuclear warhead small enough for missile delivery, or build a reentry vehicle for an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) capable of penetrating the atmosphere to blast a U.S. city. “A small misjudgment or error can immediately lead to the beginning of a nuclear war, which will inevitably lead to another world war.” Does anyone really think that China and Russia will sit this one out, and that it will all be just an EMP by North Korea followed by a couple of nukes dropped by the U.S.?

The USA has attacked the financial assets of North Korea. “U.S. authorities have tried to seize millions of dollars associated with several companies that deal with North Korea, including the country’s military, from eight large international banks, according to court filings made public on Thursday. The effort was revealed two days after North Korea tested a long-range missile capable of reaching Alaska, ratcheting up tensions with the United States and adding to worries about North Korea leader Kim Jong Un’s nuclear weapons plans. Thursday’s filings show that Chief Judge Beryl Howell of the federal court in Washington, D.C. on May 22 granted U.S. prosecutors’ applications for “damming” seizure warrants against Bank of America Corp, Bank of New York Mellon Corp, Citigroup Inc, Deutsche Bank AG, HSBC Holdings Plc, JPMorgan Chase & Co, Standard Chartered Plc and Wells Fargo & Co.” With measures such as military exercises and money seizures, it can be clearly seen that Un and North Korea are being maneuvered into a situation where the only recourses are capitulation to the U.S./IMF or to conduct a strike against the United States. North Korea has that capability right now…to launch a nuclear strike against the continental United States.

I have been following the development of EMP weapons for years. I received the updated study from the Heritage Foundation when they published it a few years ago. The United States has had the knowledge to prepare for this but our politicians have stopped anyone who has seriously tried to get us to prepare. This is either willful or they are deceived to believe that no one would ever launch an EMP attack against the US. Iran and North Korea have both practiced launching EMP weapons. Who do you think they want to attack with them? Green Beret Jeremiah Johnson ended his article with this ominous warning:

Reportedly South Korean military intelligence concluded, independent of the EMP Commission, that Russian scientists are in North Korea helping develop a Super-EMP warhead. In 2012, a military commentator for the People’s Republic of China stated that North Korea has Super-EMP nuclear warheads. A Super-EMP warhead would not weigh much, and could probably be delivered by North Korea’s ICBM. The missile does not have to be accurate, as the EMP field is so large that detonating anywhere over the United States would have catastrophic consequences.

So, as of Dec. 12, North Korea’s successful orbit of a satellite demonstrates its ability to make an EMP attack against the United States – right now.”

In conclusion, God is getting ready to bring wars to the earth because of the nation’s refusal to acknowledge the Lords works and ways. This is especially true in regard to Israel. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!

Prophecy Update: July 7, 2017

The world is concerned about two touch points that may start World War 3. The two places where most of the commentators talk about are Syria and North Korea. The Syrian war is 7 years old and the North Korean conflict is almost 70 years old. The Syrian war is of much more concern to Christians who watch for the Lord to come back because of its strategic geographical and cultural position. The current tension between Qatar and the Arab nations has increased the tension in the area. My concern is that Russia and China side with the Syrians and the North Koreans. That means that the US is at a disadvantage. The Arab press is calling it the beginning of WW3. Consider this recent headline:
“Saudi Arabia Vs. Qatar conflict may trigger ‘Mother of all Wars’ – World War 3 threat issued.” Qatar and Saudi Arabia have collaborated eight years ago to overthrow the Assad presidency in Syria and replace it with a Sunni Muslim leader that would allow the creation of a pipeline from Qatar to Europe, for the benefit of the Gulf countries. This war was started for the purpose of increasing oil and gas lines through Syria that would benefit Saudi Arabia and some Arab nations. That war did not go the way people thought. The problem on the way to winning the war was the Russians. The Russians are in Syria and that has put a stop to what the Gulf Coast nations wanted to accomplish. America did nothing to stop the Russians from moving into Syria. America showed weakness which has emboldened our enemies.

Now that the Saudi’s and the Qatari’s are at odds, the original reason for the war is in jeopardy. The reason is that the Saudi’s have moved closer to the Americans and the Qatari’s have moved closer to the Iranians. Now the claim from the Saudi’s is that the Qatari’s are using the Palestinians as pawns. A recent Saudi paper had this headline: “The Escalation In Gaza – A Result Of Qatar, Iran, Turkey Toying With Lives Of Innocent Palestinians.” The Saudi’s wrote “This conduct of Qatar and its allies, in Palestine and elsewhere, is despicable. How disgraceful it is that some are willing to toy with the lives of innocents and with the future of small children in Gaza in order to achieve political aims.” The problem with the Saudi complaint is that all of the Muslim nations have used the Palestinians as pawns in a big game to destroy Israel. The Qatari’s played both sides with the Saudi’s and the Iranians. The Iranians and Turks have come to the side of the Qatari’s.

“Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday reaffirmed Turkey’s support for Qatar in its dispute with four other Arab states, and said their demands against Qatar were unacceptable, Reuters reported.” The Turkish President last month claimed that he has never known Qatar to give support to terror organizations. That is a huge lie! Hamas is the sworn enemy of Israel and the USA and Qatar has supported them with millions of dollars. This has led to another problem in the world: Israel.
The Palestinians are using this turmoil to push the UN to attack Israel again. This is what the Palestinians did: UNESCO vote proves Israel’s Jerusalem narrative false. UNESCO has proved that Israel’s narrative with regard to Jerusalem is false, the Palestinian Authority and Hamas said on Wednesday after the World Heritage Committee disavowed Israeli sovereignty over the city. Once again the world is proclaiming that Israel has no right to the city of Jerusalem. “Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the Jewish people, and no UNESCO decision can change that,” the ministry said. US Ambassador to the UN has strongly condemned the anti-Semitism again. The PLO says that Haley is just anti-Palestinian. The [fn]burden of the word of the LORD concerning Israel. Zech. 12:1-3 says, Thus declares the LORD who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him, “Behold, I am going to make Jerusalem a cup [fn]that causes reeling to all the peoples around; and when the siege is against Jerusalem, it will also be against Judah. “It will come about in that day that I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it will be severely injured. And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it.” This is happening now and the Lord is moving nations into position to fulfill this prophecy.

“Nothing is more disgraceful than UNESCO declaring the world’s only Jewish state the ‘occupier’ of the Western Wall and Jerusalem’s Old City,” said Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon. “No faux ‘heritage committee’ can sever the bonds between our people and Jerusalem.” Some of the responses from Israel and the USA show that the US is on its own being allies with Israel at the UN. “Instead of protecting hundreds of sites destroyed by radical Islam, including the al-Nuri Mosque in Mosul, UNESCO is acting against the only Middle Eastern country safeguarding all holy sites and granting worshipers religious freedom,” Bennett said. If the conflict in Gaza persists then it will lead to a greater conflict on Israel’s northern border with Hezbollah and Iran. Yesterday, UNESCO declared that Hebron was Palestinian and not Jewish. What lies and deception.

This can lead to WW3 because the players in the Middle East are also tied to allies in Asia. North Korea has allies in China, Russia, Iran,
Syria, and Turkey. The two conflicts could become linked. North Korea has helped the Iranians in their pursuit of a nuclear bomb. Nikki Haley said of the NK situation, “One of our capabilities lies with our considerable military forces,” she said. “We will use them if we must, but we prefer not to have to go in that direction.” Since diplomatic avenues of solving the problem have failed, only a military option is left to us. China took over the South China Sea and this has brought a lot of tension. As America has sent three aircraft carrier groups into the area, the tensions between the US and China are high. The US has challenged the Chinese and now the President said that China has not done anything to help with the North Korean situation. The NK launched a ICBM on July 4th and issued this statement, North Korean state media hailed the July 4 flight test as part of what supreme leader Kim Jong Un called a “gift” for “American bastards.” After the July 4 launch, the president tweeted: “North Korea has just launched another missile. Does this guy have anything better to do with his life? Hard to believe that South Korea and Japan will put up with this much longer. Perhaps China will put a heavy move on North Korea and end this nonsense once and for all!” The problem is that so much time has gone by that NK used to build nukes to use against all of her neighbors, it now necessitates nations to appease even more. When will the appeasement stop? The President of the US wants it stopped now.

“Trade between China and North Korea grew almost 40% in the first quarter,” Trump tweeted. “So much for China working with us—but we had to give it a try!” As the US moves to take the provocations of North Korea to the Security Council and put more sanctions on them, China and Russia do not like that so much. South Korea and the US launched their own missiles to show North Korea that they have some serious fire power to bring to bear on them. Flying B1B Bombers up to the border with NK, the US sent a powerful message of strength. The B1B Bomber is the most sophisticated bombers in the world. Without the Chinese and Russians, North Korea does not have a chance in winning a war. But, they can do a lot of damage, especially to South Korea. This is a very big threat to the South Koreans especially with the Japanese close behind.

Part of the problem in these conflicts is that the major powers try to make deals and the other nations do not care about the major powers. Do you think that Al Qaida, Al Nusra, ISIS, and the other host of jihadist parties out there care what America and Russia say? Yesterday, the US and Russia came up with another cease fire for Syria. None of the other cease fires lasted more than a day. Here is the headline: Partial ceasefire deal reached in Syria, in Trump’s first peace effort
By REUTERS July 8, the ceasefire is due to start on Sunday and was announced following Trump’s meeting with Putin at the G20 summit in Hamburg. Once again they cry peace, peace and there is no peace! Pres. Trump in negotiating this deal is trying to keep forces away from Israel. I appreciate that and want Israel safe, but do you believe this is going to stop the likes of the radical Islamists? The key statement in the article is this and it is an understatement like none other: “Previous similar ceasefires have failed to hold for long and it was not clear how much the actual combatants — Assad’s government and the main Syrian rebel forces in the southwest — are committed to this latest effort.” Let me save you the time and energy, they are not committed to the cease fire and it will not make a difference.
One last thing, the battle against Israel in the churches is so despicable to me. Now the Mennonites have attacked the Jews in a despicable anti-Semitic decision: Mennonite Church USA Adopts BDS with 98% Vote. The resolution calls on members to “avoid purchase of products associated with the occupation or produced in settlements in occupied territories.” According to the UN Hebron and Jerusalem are occupied territories. The Mennonite church has just put themselves under the judgment of God because they refuse what God is doing, moving His people Israel back to the land. The war for these cities is right around the corner. Be ready to pray like never before.
Is.62:1 says, For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, And for Jerusalem’s sake I will not keep quiet, Until her righteousness goes forth like brightness, And her salvation like a torch that is burning. Please pray with me that God will accomplish this verse soon. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Prophecy Update: June 30th 2017

A word that I hear from many prophecy teachers is the word convergence. So many things are happening at once that it is hard to keep up. I generally look first at the Middle East and the relationship of Israel with her neighbors. I do this because much of what God says is going to happen in the last days has to do with Israel. Next I look at specific prophecies regarding the end times which are close to being fulfilled or are being set up to be fulfilled. The Gog Magog prophecy of Ezekiel 38-39 is of particular interest to me since Russia and Iran are on the borders of Israel. I also look at the prophecy of Isaiah 17 and the destruction of Damascus. This is as current as it gets; Damascus has been at war for almost 7 years. Another very important prophecy is of the return of the Jews to Israel.

Ezekiel 36-37 is in the process of being fulfilled. Satan does not want the Jews to come back to the land because it means that his time is getting close to the end. His hatred of God and God’s people causes him to hate the land of Israel. He tried to keep the Jews out the first time with Joshua. He tried to keep the Jews out of the land when they came back from the Babylonian captivity. He is now in the midst of using the UN to declare that the land of Israel is not Jewish. Bill Salus wrote a book called Psalm 83 and the future war for the mountains of Israel and the specific cities of Shiloh, Bethel, Bethlehem, Jerusalem, and Hebron. All of these ancient Jewish cities are declared by the UN to be Muslim and Palestinian cities. They are kind enough to give the Jews half of Jerusalem, but the Palestinians publish maps that show all of the land is Palestinian, not one inch is Jewish.

The latest UN fiasco is a conference in Poland. The Jerusalem Post had this headline: Israel gears up for Jerusalem sovereignty fight in UNESCO. “Israel is pushing to sway the 21 nations on UNESCO’s World Heritage Committee to reject a resolution disavowing Israeli sovereignty in Jerusalem, when the committee meets in Krakow, Poland, July 2-12.” The UN already voted that Jerusalem is not Jewish last December. “Israel is now worried that similar annual anti-Israel resolutions will stem from the Palestinian Authority’s bid this year to inscribe the Old City of Hebron, including the Tomb of the Patriarchs, under “Palestine” on the World Heritage List in Danger. Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely spoke with foreign ambassadors based in Israel about the pending Hebron vote, and warned that “Jewish [holy] sites are being Islamized.” Can you imagine saying that Hebron, where David ruled Israel for seven years and where Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are buried, is not Jewish? The UN that represents all of the nations of the world, takes a stand against Israel and treats her as if she should not exist.

The war coming for Israel to take her land is heating up. The Syrian war has brought many nations into the territory, super powers like Russia, USA, and China have a stake in what happens there. Nations are lining up and taking sides so that the prophecies can come true. The Arab nations have made it clear that they want Israel destroyed. But, Ezekiel 38:13 says that “Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish with all its villages will say to you, ‘Have you come to capture spoil? Have you assembled your company to seize plunder, to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to capture great spoil?’”’ This means that Saudi Arabia is protesting Russia and Iran going into Israel. That means that there will be a split in the Arab nations. Since Israel was a nation, the prophecy of Psalm 83 has been slowly being fulfilled. Psalm 83:4 says, They have said, “Come, and let us wipe them out as a nation, That the name of Israel be remembered no more.” In 1948, 56, 67, and 73 the Arab nations attacked and lost wars with Israel. Soon, Israel will finish the job and take all of her land from these nations which have said, no negotiations, no peace, and no recognition of Israel. None of these nations in the Middle East even recognize that Israel exists.

God does not lie, He says that what He prophesies will come true. Isaiah 46:9-10 “Remember the former things long past, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me, Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying, ‘My purpose will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure’ God has declared to the mountains of Israel (Ezekiel 36-37) that God would give all of the land of Israel back to the Jews. This has not happened fully yet! It started in 1948 and it is still being countered by Satan. Hezbollah is ready to fight a war with Israel and it will be launched from Syria and Lebanon. Both of these nations will be destroyed by Israel, Damascus will be destroyed and Lebanon will fall. Hezbollah will be wiped out and Iran will be very mad. Jordan, who still has a peace treaty with Israel will attack in the Psalm 83 war, they will be destroyed by Israel. Jordan currently is pushing the UN to say that Israel does not have sovereignty over much of Jerusalem. Gaza and the Sinai Peninsula will be destroyed, many terror groups are there now, ISIS, Hamas, and Al Qaida, all want to fight Israel and destroy her. They will fail. These wars are about to be launched, Hamas and Hezbollah talk about it. It was in the news today, Hezbollah said they are ready to attack, Iran leader Ayatollah Khameni stated that all Muslims must attack the Jews now. Breitbart reported yesterday, “Israeli Army Prepares for Hezbollah Attack Ahead of Work on Lebanon Border” Hezbollah may launch an attack against Israel before or during the construction of a new border fence next month, the former director of the Counter Terrorism Bureau at the Prime Minister’s Office said on Monday. Ex-counter terror chief and former deputy commander of the IDF’s Galil Division Brig.-Gen. (res.) Nitzan Nuriel told reporters that if Hezbollah chooses to strike before the construction of the barrier is completed, it could set off a third Lebanon war. “The Israeli enemy should know that if it launches an attack on Syria or Lebanon, it’s unknown whether the fighting will stay just between Lebanon and Israel, or Syria and Israel,” Nasrallah said, adding that a future conflict would be “very costly for Israel.”

“I’m not saying countries would intervene directly — but it would open the door for hundreds of thousands of fighters from all around the Arab and Islamic world to participate in this fight — from Iraq, Yemen, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan,” he said. I believe many nations will intervene. The Psalm 83 war will lead to the Gog Magog war.

Hamas is also anxious to start a war. The Independent is reporting, “Hamas ‘ready for a new war in Israel by summer’, former IDF general says.” Last month the IDF said that the group’s military capabilities had been restored to their pre-2014 war strength. Everything I am reading from the Middle East smells of war this summer. Soon and very soon the Lord will fulfill Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 36-37. One thing is sure to me, in all of my praying and searching the Lord on this issue, I believe the time is very short for Israel to get all of her land back. The hatred and the anger, paying millions of dollars to Palestinians to kill Israeli’s is coming to an end. Jared Kushner and President Trump ended up in yelling matches with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas over paying terrorists. Then Saudi Arabia boycotts Qatar dividing the Middle East. The nations are realigning again to fulfill prophecy.

Why do I believe that we are so close to these wars? In the first place, the nations in the Middle East have been talking about this so much and it is at a fever pitch. ISIS is being destroyed, Al Qaida and Al Nusra have a new lease on life, Turkey is paying people to attack Israel, and Iran talks about destroying Israel every day! Turkey and Iran are paying more and more people to prepare for war with Israel, the two biggest groups being Hamas and Hezbollah.
The United States and Saudi Arabia along with the Gulf Cooperation Council, political and economic union consisting of all Arab states of the Persian Gulf, except for Iraq. Its member states are Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. These nations, led by the United States have implemented a plan to bring about a regime change in Iran. Our military has been striking down Iranian drones and Iranian backed troops in Syria. Since Qatar is now under such pressure to give up its ties to Iran, a breach has happened that can only lead to war. I believe that Russia and Iran will get the upper hand because it is biblical prophecy. Because the USA is not in prophecy, I believe somehow that the pressure on Qatar is going to backfire. Qatar so far is getting closer to Iran, Russia, China, and Turkey. The 11,000 troops of the USA in Qatar may be kicked out? Did you know that Qatar has traded 86 billion dollars in Chinas Yuan instead of US dollars the last two years? “This is incredibly important because Qatar shares its major natural gas reserve with Iran, and Iran also conducts its oil-related business deals with China in Yuan. Shortly after the nuclear accord reached in 2015, the Islamic Republic sought to capitalize on these economic opportunities by ramping up production on their share of the Iran-Qatari gas reserve. In November 2016, Iran signed a deal with France’s Total, a multinational integrated oil and gas company, to develop this project. Iran is expected to surpass Qatar’s gas production by next year, and Qatar was left with little choice but to join the venture. It lifted a self-imposed ban on developing the gas field in April of this year.” (Zerohedge) This most likely means that the USA is out of Qatar and the worlds reserve currency (US Dollar) is also out; being replaced by the Yaun in oil and gas trading! This the Saudi’s and the Americans cannot stand for. It has meant war in the past and it will mean war now. The Chinese have been calling for a new reserve currency for years. America is still the reserve currency by far, but times are changing. These are dangerous times for Israel and America, pray for peace!

Prophecy Update: Friday June 23, 2017

The war is widening in Syria and it seems to include the United States. As the government keeps saying that we are not going to war in the Middle East, the signs are that we are being dragged into more conflict. This past week the USA shot down a Sukhoi 22 jet from Russia, being flown by Syrian pilots. In the last few months we have dropped bombs on Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Somalia, Yemen and Libya. We still have troops in Germany and Japan from WW2 and troops in South Korea from the Korean war. Why are we still in Korea, Japan, and Germany? That was over 50 years ago. Do wars ever end for the USA?

On June 23rd 1950 the communist forces of North Korea crossed over the 38th parallel and began a war on the south. The United States committed to stop Soviet and communist aggression in those days so we went to war. After WW2 the United States had slashed its military and was not ready for a war. The communist Mao took China in 1948 and in 1950 the Soviets had a nuclear bomb so they were sowing their oats and trying to take some countries for worldwide communism. After the attack in South Korea, they took almost 90% of the country before the Americans acted. Our president Harry Truman, not a man I would mess with, made a commitment to come to the aid of the South Koreans. We landed in a place called Pusan and were literally surrounded. Seoul the capital of the South exchanged hands between the communists and the American/S.Korean armies five times. General MacArthur pushed the communists back into the North and even took much of the north until the Chinese entered the fight and pushed the Americans back across the 38th parallel. The war ended with an Armistice on July 27th 1953. We lost 35,000 soldiers in a war that we did not win. The cold war has brought 65 years of our people being in South Korea with a commitment to defend and protect the South. As South Korea has tasted freedom they have become an economic powerhouse. God used us to bless South Korea. The North is still a communist country with nothing. Pray for them.

The freedom and affluence of South Korea has given us the likes of Hyundai, Kia, LG, and Samsung. They are truly blessed but there is a problem. We did not win the war so we could not dictate terms of surrender in order to bless the North. The North has been a repressive evil country that kills and enslaves its people. The message was clear, the free world under US leadership was not going to bow to Soviet and Maoist communism! We stood watch to protect other Asian nations and especially Western Europe.

As war seems inevitable in the Middle East, so does war seem likely in the Korean Peninsula? We have 3 aircraft carrier groups in the waters off the coast of North Korea. North Korea is launching missiles to endanger the South and provoke America. This is a regime under Kim Jong Un—whom I call undone! He is a wicked and evil man who hates his people, mistreats them, enslaves them, and kills Christians! The last three months, the North has tested a new missile each week and has made the South very nervous. The South called a meeting for a war council in the country, they do not know if they are going to war. North Korea arrested a student from the USA and killed him. His name is Otto Wambier, this is an act of war. The North Koreans just sent a message to our president Donald Trump, like the Godfather of Italian Mafia lore, they sent a message by killing one of our own and sent him back like the Mafia sending a dead fish. The message is that you cannot not do anything to us we are more powerful than you. The USA has done nothing as of this moment accept to send threats. It used to be a terrible and scary thing to kill a citizen of the USA.

Fred Wambier, the boys father, said that North Korea brutalized and murdered his son. Where is the outrage? Well, Donald Trump ordered the Carl Vinson, Ronald Reagan, and Nimitz carrier groups off the coast of North Korea. That is a lot of fire power with little or no mandate to attack. That fire power is within range of Russia, China, and North Korea, what kind of message is it sending? Each Carrier is powered by two nuclear engines and they are three football fields long. Each of the three have more than 60 aircraft. The firepower of just one of the carriers is equal to or more than all of the bombs that went off in WW2! (mostly because of nukes) each carrier group has two destroyers so that means there are 6 off the coast of North Korea. The destroyers alone would put fear in my heart. The destroyers carry tomahawk and ballistic missiles with nukes. Even without the nukes there is a lot of fire power! Then there are the nuclear subs that tag along with the carrier groups. They have enough nukes on them to take out all of China. Three of them could take out all of Russia, China, and North Korea. (109 missiles on each sub!) Why so much firepower there? Things look ominous!

North Korea has no destroyers and only about 40 attack aircraft. The 200 F-18 alone are enough to take out the whole air force of North Korea in about an hour and a half! Just as China came to the aid of North Korea in 1950, they better do it again or else North Korea has no chance. The Pentagon is calling this a regular scheduled deployment, I can tell you that it has never happened before of course not counting WW2! North Korea’s Foreign Minister said yesterday that they are ready for war with the USA. China deployed 150,000 troops to the border of North Korea. Six Russian bombers set off towards Japan and Japan had to send up fighter jets to stop them. Russia began deploying her navy to the north of Japan to counter what the USA was doing. Seal Team Six was sent to South Korea—why? Kim Jong Un ordered that parts of the capital city, Pyongyang should be evacuated. This is the definition of wars and rumors of wars.

Meanwhile in Syria, The British are reporting that the way things stand now, war is inevitable between the US and Russia. I do not believe that the biggest threat is the US—Russia tension in Syria. I believe that the greatest threat of war is Qatar! The reason is because the Gulf States have presented Qatar with 10 demands which seem impossible for them to abide by. Several weeks ago, Saudi Arabia and Egypt led a group of nations to shut off diplomatic relations with Qatar. The claim is that Qatar supported terrorism with Turkey, Iran, and the Muslim Brotherhood. The Saudis always had a good relationship with Egypt because Egypt always kept the Muslim Brotherhood at bay under Mubarak. When Mubarak fell, Pres. Obama put his trust in the Muslim Brotherhood which enraged the Saudis. Now that Trump is in office that all changed! One of the demands is that Qatar kick out the Turkish army base, that is not going to happen short of war. America and Russia cannot stop these groups. Iran wants to get rid of the Sunni groups that stand with the Saudis. The Saudis gave Qatar 10 days to meet their demands such as including calls for it to expel Turkish military forces from its territory and sever all connections with the Muslim Brotherhood. The ultimatum said Qatar must also pay reparations to its neighbours, hand over fugitives wanted by other Middle Eastern states and immediately cease financing terrorists groups like Hizbollah and Al-Qaeda’s Syrian affiliate. The biggest demand is for them to close the news channel Al Jazerra! We are four days into the demands and it is not looking like they will meet the demands.

Do the Saudis have the military ability to fight and win a war with Qatar and her allies? Qatar is very small with only 2.2 million people. It imports all of its food but has a lot of money from oil and gas. “Saudi Arabia and UAE know Qatar won’t accept the list of demands as offered,” said Michael Stephens, a research fellow at the Royal United Services. Saudi Arabia and the other nations leading the blockade – the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Egypt – launched an economic and diplomatic blockade on the energy-rich country a fortnight ago, initially claiming the Qatari royal family had licensed the funding of terrorism across the Middle East for decades. Since then, the allies appear to be pushing for the isolation of Iran and the suppression of dissenting media in the region. “Perhaps the idea is that these demands are a starting point for negotiation on more core issues.” Al-Jazeera, which is wholly owned by the Qatari state, struck a defiant note in the face of calls for the closure of both its English and Arabic services saying it was “an attempt to silence the freedom of expression in the region.” This is where it gets really strange–US policy towards Qatar so far has been marked by confusion. President Donald Trump has appeared to take credit for the Saudi embargo and described Qatar as a haven for terrorism. By contrast, the State Department under Rex Tillerson has twice upbraided Saudi Arabia’s approach to Qatar and questioned its true motives in sparking the diplomatic crisis. The US has a major military base in Qatar and risks seeing Qatar forced into an alliance with Iran if its enforced isolation continues, an outcome that would be a major strategic blow to Washington as well as a further threat to the security of the region.
Qatar is already in league with Iran so we are in a very bad situation. The lines for a future war are being drawn. Countries will line up behind Saudi Arabia or Iran. This is the more important threat to war than what is happening in Syria, as tragic as that is. Turkey is with the Russians and Iran and that fits the prophecy of Ezekiel 38-39. This is the first time in many years that Turkey has shown its hand, it is fulfilling biblical prophecy! Pay attention to the next two weeks and what happens with the Saudi’s? Will they lash out or will they wilt from the pressure?

Prophecy Update: Friday June 9, 2017

I found an article about something that has been bothering me for a few months. In history, when God begins to change the circumstances in nations so He can fulfill prophecy, Satan attacks what God is doing. In this case, there is an ancient artifact that has been making the rounds in the world and I see it as another move by Satan. In an article called, “Historic-artifact replica, or demonic harbinger?” the article alerts us to the danger of an arch, dedicated to the false god Baal, which is on a world tour. It is meant to bring antichrist!
“What are the facts? The arch is representative of the ‘gateway’ to … a Roman temple in Syria that was dedicated to the worship of Baal. It is also a fact that Jesus himself, along with the Jewish religious leaders of His day, defined Baal worship as being directly connected to the worship of Satan and his demonic influence (Matt. 12:24-28, Mark 3:22, Luke 11:18).” This arch has been erected in New York, Dubai, London, Florence and Arona in the North of Italy. It followed the G-7 meetings and shows up for meetings of world leaders. The ritual followed by these people is the spirit of AntiChrist.
“Pastor Carl Gallups, author of the end times examination “When The Lion Roars,” said people are right to ascribe deep spiritual significance to the arch. Gallups also said it is profoundly interesting – and worrying – that the arch always seems to be in a location of deep significance to the elite-driven movement to create a global government.” “It is a heavily documented fact that when the Palmyra arch was reconstructed, the places chosen for the display of the arch, complete with ceremonious activities of dedication and honor, were indisputably centers of globalistic power,” Gallups observed.
When the arch was taken to New York, it was there during global governance meetings. The leaders of the world are giving praise and honor for Satan and his work through this arch. Pastor Mark Biltz of El Shaddai Ministries, said, “The culture of pagan Rome took over Christianity almost 2,000 years ago!” he said. “Around 300 CE the church thought it best to completely assimilate pagan worship with their new religion. The concept of biblical holiness was not in their thinking. We find this true today.” It is sad that so many churches are abandoning the Judeo-Christian worldview for a secular worldview. The problem with this is that our culture, especially in the west, has no roots in any other worldview. Since America is in this time of transition, a battle is raging in our culture for what will replace the Christian worldview. Pastor Biltz, like many before him, when studying church history, has observed that Satan always attacked the church with false teachers. Thank God that the truth has been preserved and God has built His church in the midst of the battle. Paul alerted us to this fact in I Timothy 4:1 when he said, “But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons.” This is happening now and it is meant to bring the antichrist!
As a pastor with college students I have always had my senses trained to understand when the false teaching comes into the college scene. It seems like Satan always attacks the young first with false teaching. I am thankful that God has given us great Bible teachers in America who have alerted us to these movements. Most of the movements have been very deceptive and not blatant. What I have noticed the past few years is that Satan is now very overt and bold in our society. People will talk about things that I never thought would be said openly in our society. The arch of Baal is bold idolatry and open rebellion against the Lord who made us! Its appearance is a harbinger of the rise of Antichrist!
What happens when Satan is given more rope in society? It results in more chaos, death, murder, immorality, and judgment from God. The big picture that I am keeping my eye on is the one world push by the globalist elite. The election of Donald Trump brought a war to light. The LORD kept giving me the word picture that Trump was the tip of the spear. He would bring to light many things that the world elite have been doing. Brexit and the election of Trump showed the world elite that people in Britain and America do not want the sovereignty of their nations to be run by elitist rulers in an office somewhere in the world. The people in America do not want antichrist running our nation.
For many years, the elite rulers in America have been pushing laws and rules that take away the rights of Americans. This movement had one big goal, remove the sovereignty of the nation so Satan can rise up his man. The North American Union was a major push by many in the nation, key leaders in industry, politicians, and university professors. This movement was for the purpose of putting all Americans under a new authority. Now, Donald Trump exited the Paris climate change deal and horrors of horrors, the leftists in our country have gone crazy with anger and hatred. This is the demonic behavior foretold in I Tim.4! In fact, the whole world is up in arms. Why? The climate change doctrine is another deception by Satan. What is taught in this deception is that God did not make the world with the capacity to take care of its people. This is a bold face lie. If there were 20 billion people on the earth, God would increase the capacity of the earth to feed us. The religion of humanism, putting man in the center of the universe is failing. At the heart of what the president did is stand against the central control of the nation. What can move our president to accept a central control?
If you think about it, the way that Satan can take control of people is through a cashless society. Going cashless gives the central banks a way of tracking all people. The British newspaper ‘The Telegraph’ had this headline, “Bank of England trials artificial intelligence and blockchain in bid to stay ahead of the pack.” Blockchain technology is what Bitcoin is based on and can become a global currency digitally. Digital banking is already common among many people in the world. We are one step away from going to a cashless society. Not long ago, India placed strict restrictions on cash and coin circulation. The argument for the government seizing 86% of cash in India was fighting black markets. The Indian cash grab led many top globalist elites at Davos to call for a U.S. cashless society. Recently added to this line of examples, the Centre For International Governance (CIGI) has urged G20 countries to create a central bank blockchain consortium and go cashless. The manipulation of the people will be based on fighting corruption and tax evaders. Norway came out and said that they want to cashless by 2020. As G. Edward Griffin recently said at World Alternative Media, “A cashless society is the ultimate globalist endgame.” I do not think that Pres. Trump can stop this movement.
The current war on Trump can be boiled down to this one point: Trump does not want us to be slaves of elitists who wish to control us. The cashless society is the way these elitists and CNN and their cronies can gain control of everyone. Heike Joebges, Berlin University economics professor says, “Even in industrialized countries it is estimated that 14-16% of GDP changes hand in the underground economy. That does not get taxed because it comes from illegal activity.” Electronic payment systems are more common, you can use your phone for instance. When payments are paid electronically, the government can track the legal and illegal use of money and thus putting a stop to the underground economy. Nations are already putting restrictions on cash payments; Belgium imposed a limit of 3000 euros on cash payments and have reduced cash payments by 93% in their economy! France also is down to 92% of cashless transactions. Canada is 90% cashless and these nations have taken the step of issuing debit cards to help this transition happen.
India is the largest nation in the world that has gone cashless. They are pushing unity calling it ‘One nation One tax’ and it is being implemented July 1st. Revelation 13:16-17 says, “And he causes all the small and the great and the rich and the poor and the freemen and the slaves to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead and he provides that no one should be able to buy or sell except the one who has the mark either the name of the beast or the number of his name.” This is becoming a reality in many nations. Can this happen in the USA this year? JetBlue and Delta have moved to a biometric scan for boarding planes? If this becomes mainstream, we can become a full on police state. The leftist groups want total control of the people and they need a police state. With a police state they can force Christians to be silenced on morals, and the gospel.
Yesterday, the war on Trump took place in a congressional hearing of former FBI director James Comey. We learned again how the lies and deception of those who wish to destroy the sovereignty of the nation works. Comey was asked again the key question, ‘did the Russians hack the DNC and the election?’ Then they asked if the FBI ever examined the computers of the DNC and he said no. If this is a matter of national security and the head of the FBI never examined the computers of the so called Russian hack, how can they ever know who hacked the computers? The DNC refused to allow the FBI to examine the computers and the servers. Why? Cloudstrike is the private computer security firm that runs the DNC computers. Both the DNC and Cloudstrike are covering up something. The Russian hacking claim is a way of attacking the President and at the same time hide what the DNC did with their computers. I think that George Soros is behind this whole thing—he is the one world guru.
Hillary Clinton started a program called ‘Civil Society 2.0’ to teach revolution and that program, funded with tax dollars, was used by Soros to teach how to hack computers and cyber activism. Look up “Techcamp” and see the classes that they ran in the USA and other nations. It was a structure used to over throw countries. This is what Soros used to help over throw Ukraine. The website ‘ThePopulist’ reported that Soros had a war on law enforcement state by state using the “Techcamp” classes to mobilize and attack our country.
Jesus mentioned the move by antichrist in Matt.24:15 when the ‘Abomination of Desolation’ takes place. The work of Satan to bring that about is all deception and lies. The deception and lies of the evil one are at work in our society and we need to pray that the truth will be manifested. Jesus said that the truth will set us free! Pray for the truth to be revealed and that God will move our hearts to believe the truth!

Prophecy Update: Friday, June 2, 2017

On Tuesday, I participated in the ordination exam of a young man seeking to serve the Lord as a pastor. It went really well and God has blessed us with two new young men who are entering the ministry. The zeal for God and the handling of the Word of God was evident in the conversation. It warms my heart that the Lords work is moving forward in the midst of the dark days in which we live.
The ordination exam made me think of what God said in Zech.3. There are a few participants in the narrative, Satan, Joshua the High Priest, the angel of the LORD, and God our Father. 3:1 says, “Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him.” Notice that Satan was accusing Joshua and wanted to stop God from using Joshua for His work. Satan is always accusing and opposing the work of the LORD. Satan is always opposing Christians who are sharing their faith. Satan inspires evil leaders to harass, persecute, and kill Christians across the globe. According to Open Doors ministry, they list the top five nations who kill Christians as North Korea, Somalia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Sudan. Notice that the top five includes four Muslim countries and one communist country. In fact, there top twenty includes 16 Muslim nations and 2 communist countries. Notice how Satan is using Muslim nations in the greatest persecution and murder of Christians ever in history.
Does it make sense to you that Satan is also opposing the work of God in Israel? Notice that the LORD speaks to Satan in Zech.3 and says, The LORD said to Satan, “The LORD rebuke you, Satan! Indeed, the LORD who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?” I am amazed at this passage because God dropped into the conversation a statement about Jerusalem. A few observations, this is a Trinitarian passage. The Lord, meaning Jesus who stands with Joshua asked God the Father to rebuke Satan. That is powerful, our prayer life should be Jesus centered and we should pray like Him. If Jesus asked God the Father to rebuke Satan, then we should also. Second, we need the work of God to stop Satan and his work in our lives, churches, cities, nations etc. Third, God has chosen Jerusalem and Satan is opposing the work of God regarding the great city.
In Zech.3 God cleanses Joshua and takes away his sin. Only God can do this and Jesus is the only savior and Lord over Israel. As High Priest, Joshua represented the nation of Israel and he needed the great High Priest Jesus to take away of his sin. In 3:9 God says He will “remove the iniquity of that land in one day.” It is thrilling that as Jesus prepares the land and the people for His coming, the land will be cleansed as Joshua was cleansed. This is why it is so important for believers to recognize the day in which we live. We live in the day that the Lord is giving back the land to Israel. It is preparation for what is coming!
President Trump went to Israel, Saudi Arabia, Rome, and then went and talked to the European nations (NATO). Whenever someone goes to these nations and cries peace, peace, I get a little nervous. There have been two responses from Christians who comment on current events; those who see the positive sides to what the President did and those who see how it heads towards the negative (AntiChrist rise and rule). Some have seen that what President Trump said and did on the trip was very positive towards stopping terrorism, pushing Muslims to stop the terror themselves, and to recognize Israel and her capital being Jerusalem. The negative focuses on the speech in Saudi Arabia where the President equated Allah, Yahweh, and Jesus as all the same God.
Last week I wrote on the Wahhabi religion of Saudi Arabia and the desire of the Muslims to take over the world for Allah. This desire is what unites most Muslims. When Trump goes and thinks that he can move the Muslims to stop supporting terrorism especially ISIS and Al Qaida, it is a pipe dream. When the Saudi’s give lip service back to Trump it is as bad in my mind as the lip service of all gods are the same nonsense. No Muslim will ever agree that the god of the Christians and the Jews is on the same level as Allah. The very nature of their confession, Allah Akubar means our God is greater than your god. I am glad that our president is pro Christian and pro Israel and that he is at least making it clear that the enemy is Muslim terrorist murderers. Our president does not mince words on this issue, I am very glad about that. However, the antichrist is going to cry peace, peace also and will not ever teach the exclusivity of the gospel and that Jesus is God.
The President said, “Saudi Arabia is home to the holiest sites in one of the worlds great faiths” and “I will travel to Jerusalem and Rome the holiest places in the three Abrahamic faiths, if these three faiths can join together in cooperation then peace in this world is possible.” This is the pipe dream, how will these three faiths come together? Cooperation means that they agree on terms that each agree to. Jesus is not going to agree to something that is profane. Profane means reducing Jesus to just one of several gods! Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life—not just another way. No one comes to the Father thru Mohammed, law, or any other religion.

Islam is not an Abrahamic faith, it is another problem that I have with what the president said. Islam claims that the promise went thru Ishmael and not Isaac. It is not true and I can never agree to that. Arabs are descendants of Ishmael and do not have a claim to the Promised Land because the promise went thru Isaac! Arabs have an Islamic celebration called Aiid Al Athud called the ‘Great Feast of Sacrifice.’ According to Islam Abraham was willing to sacrifice Ismael not Isaac. This is why Muslims do not accept Jews being in the land. They will never agree to that because it is a violation of their so called history. It is a lie from the pit of hell and it is believed by one billion Muslims.
Meanwhile in Israel, the Israeli President Rivlin said, “I thank Pres. Trump for recognizing the significance of Jerusalem to the Jewish people all around the world. Jerusalem is the beating heart of the Jewish people as it has been for three thousand years.” Rivlin then went on to say, “Thank you for visiting the sites of all three religions, we all have different beliefs but we all worship the same God.” Jews are confused as Muslims are that they worship the same God- I think Rivlin needs to read the Ten Commandments again. To make things worse, Mahmoud Abbas had a sign erected that said, “The City of Peace (Bethlehem) welcomes the Man of Peace.” The mixed messages were brought up from Caroline Glick.

“During his speech in Riyadh, Trump repeated the obnoxious practice of his predecessors and left Israel off the long list of countries that are afflicted by terrorism. The notion at the heart of that deliberate snub is that terrorism against Israel is somehow different and frankly more acceptable, than terrorism against everyone else.”
Finally, even when Trump has adopted a position that repudiates the establishment’s line, the fact is that the establishment’s members dominate his foreign policy team. And as a consequence, they do everything they can to dilute the significance of his moves.

I see this trip as lining up what the Word of God says the last days will be like. President Trump wants peace, but many who are following Satan and his ways are pushing the President to dilute his support for Israel. As you know, God says that every nation will be against Israel in the last days. I pray for the president that he stays strong and moves the embassy to Jerusalem. I have had my doubts, my prayers were answered with a no. President Trump signed the waiver and went back on his promise. I wanted to cry when I read that. CBS news reported this, “While President Donald J. Trump signed the waiver under the Jerusalem Embassy Act and delayed moving the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, no one should consider this step to be in any way a retreat from the President’s strong support for Israel and for the United States-Israel alliance,” Spicer said. “But, as he has repeatedly stated his intention to move the embassy, the question is not if that move happens, but only when.”
The statement of ‘Not if but when’ is meant to give us hope but I have no hope in these our enemies who have once again did what is evil. Jerusalem is the city chosen by God and where He has put His name. When President Trump signed a deal with Saudi Arabia to buy military equipment, the further funding of military equipment is setting up Armageddon. The Arab countries are happy that Trump has not moved the embassy because it means to them that Trump has compromised with believing that Jews deserve to be in the land. They will manipulate this situation. Jordan has continued their assault on Israel.

“The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs sent an official letter to the Israeli Embassy in Amman protesting the presence of “Jewish extremists” on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem under police protection.”

Other nations will feel emboldened and the war in Syria is heating up as soon as Trump left the Middle East. As you may know, Is.17 talks about the utter destruction of Damascus. The problem with weapons of mass destruction in Damascus, like chemical weapons only increases the likelihood of the prophecy being fulfilled soon. Bashir Assad, the leader of Syria has shown a willingness to use those weapons. The desire of Assad is to transfer these weapons to the Sinai Peninsula and help ISIS attack Israel from the south. Although Assad hates ISIS, he sees the value of these weapons attacking Israel. Israel could be the one who destroys Damascus and maybe with the USA. There has been a massive movement of US troops and material in Jordan with British troops. These large amount of forces, 2300 people with tanks, helicopters with 4000 Syrian trained fighters, are preparing for something? They are about 40 miles south of Damascus which is just inside Jordanian territory. As this developed, Russia sent more troops to fight the Free Syrian Army that the US supports. Bad news and more wars and rumor of wars. This is no longer a civil war but a war of many nations armies. In early May, several news outlets had reports asking the question if the USA was preparing to invade Syria.
Trumps visit to the Middle East has not brought peace, it brought more problems. I wish I could say it got better, it got more confusing. Satan is laughing. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and clarity of truth!

Prophecy Update: May 26th 2017

With President Trump making a trip through Israel this week, I thought it would be helpful to comment on some of what happened and why it is important to Biblical Prophecy.
Dr. Michael Brown made four points that I would like to comment on. He said regarding the speech President Trump made before the Saudis; “that Trump mentioned terrorism 30 times, identified Iran as the enemy, put Hamas and Hezbollah in the same category as ISIS and Al Qaida, and lastly rejected the theology of martyrdom by suicide bombing.” (Christian Post May 22) It was brave of the president to go into the heart of Islam itself and call out the Muslims for having terrorists and those who inspire them right in the mosques of Saudi Arabia. The Wahhabi sect of Sunni Islam in Saudi Arabia is the original supporters and leaders of Al Qaida. They have pushed the fantasy that terrorism has hurt Islam more than anything else. All the while preparing terrorists and teaching their children to take over the world for Islam. In fact, the Saudis have been the biggest supporters of global jihad and are spreading their form of Islam to radicalize and motivate fighters around the world. The 9/11 report found that the Saudi ruling elite distributed millions of dollars to Sunni extremists which included those who attacked us on Sept.11th under the guise of Islamic charities.
In a report done by Carol and Jamsheed Chosky, called ‘The Saudi Connection: Wahhabism and Global Jihad’ May/June 2015 in World Affairs, they said, “When Afghanistan, another largely Sunni country nearby, moved from Soviet influence to Soviet control, in 1979, the House of Saud saw an opportunity to project itself as the global defender of Muslims. The madrassas in Arabia, Afghanistan, and Pakistan produced al-Qaeda and the Taliban. The US did not foresee that foreign fighters drawn to the Afghan jihad might carry violence back to their native lands as al-Qaeda affiliates spread across the Middle East, the Balkans, the Caucasus, Central Asia, and South Asia. The successful anti-Soviet campaign in Afghanistan came to be seen as divine confirmation of jihad as necessary for Islam’s global ascendance. Wahhabism in turn emerged as the “indispensable ideology”—as noted in the record of the US Senate Subcommittee on Terrorism, Technology and Homeland Security—not just for the Saudi state but also for groups such as al-Qaeda, which took up the mission to enforce a purified form of Islam upon the world.”
The United States still lives under the fantasy that Saudi Arabia is our friend and that we can get along with them. If they had their way, every Christian and Jew would be dead or their slave. The Wahhabi leaders of Saudi Arabia are the real leaders of the kingdom and the tension between them and the House of Saud is real and cracking. The cracks are being manifested because of the House of Saud’s compromise with the US and Israel. The House of Saud sees the power and threat of Iran and they know that without Israel and the USA they cannot beat them in a war. Thus, the cozying up with the US and Israel to protect them is anathema to the Wahhabi. In 2015, writing on this subject, The Counter Terrorism Lectures and Consulting group said:
“Muslims have already had their reform period. It was the Wahhabi movement. It is difficult to recognize it as change because it took Islam back to its 7th century origins instead of forward. England’s one 20th century success was containing ‘Core Wahhabism’ in Saudi Arabia.
The Sunni House of Saud and the descendants of the founder of Sunni Wahhabism have intermarried since the middle of the 1700s. Saudi politics and the Wahhabi version of Islam are inextricably connected, and embedded in Kingdom policy.
The Saud family not only controls Medina and Mecca, which means every Muslim on pilgrimage there is touched by Wahhabism, but the University of Medina exports this militant version of Islam by design and intent.”
“University of Medina scholar, Dr. Abdullah Yusuf Azzam, the Godfather of Jihad, was sent to Pakistan to teach Wahhabism. His most infamous student was Osama bin Laden.”
So you can see that the compromise with the west is a huge problem. The ideology learned in Wahhabi schools by Osama Bib Laden is still taught in the schools of the Saudi Kingdom. What do the leaders of Saudi Arabia mean when they say that Bin Laden should be condemned? They mean he personally should be condemned and not his teaching. If you are in the leadership and think that the Wahhabi message should be changed or moderated you can be in big trouble. That is the tension now in Saudi Arabia.
President Trump moved onto Israel and went to the western wall to pray. This was a passive way of saying that the wall was in Israel proper and part of Jewish history as a holy site. This is anathema to all Muslims. For the 19 years that Jordan controlled Jerusalem (1948-1967) no Jews were allowed in the old city of David and they were forbidden to go pray at the Western Wall. So much for tolerance! Although President Trump did not declare that he is going to move the embassy to Jerusalem, it will happen automatically by law if he does not sign the national security waiver by May 30th. I am praying that on June 1st that the news is that the waiver has not been signed and the embassy is moving. Please pray for that because it means that the United States is recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel!
As I read back through Ezekiel 36-39 for this prophecy update, I am struck by one of the purposes that God has for bringing the Jews back to the land. The little phrase, ‘that the nations may know’ happens in all four chapters. In fact, the little phrase ‘will know’ occurs 22 times so God wants us to be sure we understand what He is going to do.

Ezekiel 36:23 “I will vindicate the holiness of My great name which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst. Then the nations will know that I am the LORD,” declares the Lord GOD, “when I prove Myself holy among you in their sight.”

Ezekiel 37:28 “And the nations will know that I am the LORD who sanctifies Israel, when My sanctuary is in their midst forever.”’”

Ezekiel 38:16 and you will come up against My people Israel like a cloud to cover the land. It shall come about in the last days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me when I am sanctified through you before their eyes, O Gog.”

Ezekiel 39:7 “My holy name I will make known in the midst of My people Israel; and I will not let My holy name be profaned anymore. And the nations will know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.”

When God brings Israel back into the land and establishes them in the land through war, it is so the nations may know, first: that God did it, second: that God will vindicate His holy name, third: prove Himself Holy, Fourth: sanctifies Israel, fifth: will not allow His name to be profaned anymore among the nations, and lastly: Israel will know the Lord!

This means there are at least two wars to be fought in the near future. The first war is for the rest of the land of Israel which is currently occupied by Arabs in the so called Palestinian state. Ezekiel 36 is very clear that God prophesies to the mountains of Israel and it is those mountains that the UN says is not Jewish land. Four cities that are biblical cities of Israel are currently occupied by Arabs. Those four cities are contested at the moment and no Jews are allowed to live in those four cities. The cities are Shiloh, Bethel, Bethlehem, and Hebron; these are all very important cities to Israel and where great things were done by the Lord for Israel. My belief is that just as it took a war in 1967 for Israel to take control of Jerusalem so it will be true for these four cities. Israel will have to take these cities back through war. The UN, Russia, China, the EU, and most of the nations of the world are against Israel from having these four cities. All of the Muslim countries are against Israel being anywhere in the West Bank which are the mountains of Israel. God is soon going to give all that land back to His people. This promise of God reaches into the nations and makes known to them that God is in charge and moving in history for His people Israel. We will have an opportunity to share the good news of the Gospel when this happens.
The second war is the Gog Magog war that will take place when Russia and Iran mainly invade Israel. That war will be a major way that God will speak to the nations of the world and make it known that He did it.
When God moves in history, the first thing Satan tries to do is to convince people that there is not a supernatural movement of God. Satan will bring out his minions to say it is chance, people, nations doing these things but never God almighty. Our God is a God who moves and does things in history. Be prepared to give testimony that God is moving in our day. He is moving in the nations by bringing the gospel to places that do not want it. He also is moving in the nations to bring the Jews back to their ancient land. Pray and thank God for what He is doing today. It is a thrilling time to be alive!

Prophecy Update: May 18, 2017

I was in the Dominican Republic the week of May 7-14th. During that week I was doing ministry with a team from Ashland University and was concentrating on preaching, teaching, and sharing the gospel. I was out of touch with the news and I concentrated on the Lord and the work He gave us to do. We shared the gospel with over 800 people and we hope the Lord will save many of them. It was a shock when I landed in America, JFK airport in New York. The head of the FBI was fired by president Trump. The press and the Democrats (many Republicans also) have continued to try and destroy the Trump presidency. The lies and leaks are coming so fast, all designed to destroy the presidency. To fight back, Jason Chaffetz office just released the letter sent to the FBI’s Andrew McCabe demanding all Comey-Trump related memos… So the Committee can consider that question, and others, provide, no later than May 24, 2017, all memoranda, notes, summaries, and recordings referring or relating to any communications between Comey and the President. The fix is in!
“Following the election of Trump, an axis of evil in U.S. politics has formed consisting of the corporate media, neoliberal Democrats (Hillary cultists) and neocons. This alliance has one primary objective, which revolves around obsessing incessantly on a conspiracy theory that deflects attention away from the crimes of our very own domestic plutocrats, war mongers and rent-seekers (you know, the forces that are actually wrecking the country).” (Zero Hedge)
Every policy that President Trump tries to enact that will protect Americans is met with resistance. His attempts to stop Islamic Jihadists from coming into the country have been stopped by the courts. The two most important weaknesses that Pres. Trump tried to address, sanctuary cities and immigration, have been thwarted by the courts and the press. The opposition is having success in the courts for now, but let us pray that we bring some sanity and truth to these two issues. It is particularly tragic for American families who have been killed by illegal immigrants and the state and local governments make the families the enemy instead of the criminal aliens. They put the wellbeing of criminal aliens before citizens of this great country. The state and local government officials who advocate these laws have the blood of dead Americans on their hands.
How did the judicial branch become the absolute authority over the executive branch? The federal judges do not have the authority that they are claiming for themselves. Daniel Horowitz wrote in the Conservative Journal on Feb.1 2017, “It’s still hard to believe we now live in a country where a district judge can demand that we bring in refugees from state sponsors of terror and failed states saturated with terrorists and no data systems during a time of war. It’s almost unfathomable that a district judge, an institution created by Congress, can overturn long-standing refugee law and bar the federal government from prioritizing persecuted religious minorities for refugee resettlement. All in contravention to statute, numerous clauses of the Constitution, the social contract, the social compact, popular sovereignty, jurisdictional sovereignty, and 200 years of case law. Judge James Robart’s ruling redefined the building block of a sovereign nation. It’s hard to comprehend a judicial opinion more divorced from our Constitution, sovereignty, fundamental laws, founding values, history, and tradition. It’s also hard to imagine an opinion that is of greater consequence — unless it is ignored.”
The fact of the matter is that we no longer have a constitution to live by because it has been dismissed by our federal judges. The congress has failed to stand up to this breaking of the law. They should impeach these judges! Alexander Hamilton’s seminal writings in Federalist #s78, 79, and 81 dealt with this. “He felt that impeachment would be the primary check against federal judges abusing judicial review. It is obvious he wasn’t referring to judges committing murder, but rather judges violating the Constitution with their decisions as we are witnessing today.”
Governor Jerry Brown of California proposed in his latest budget to give millions of American dollars to illegal immigrants to fight deportation! HuH! Can you see the ignorance in this: using tax payer money to help illegal immigrants fight deportation? God has always sent a deceiving spirit on people when He is ready to destroy them
During the reign of Jehoshaphat King of Judah, Jehoshaphat allied himself with Ahab King of Israel by marriage. Now the King of Judah was a righteous man and 2Chron.17:4-6 says, “Jehoshaphat sought the God of his father, followed His commandments and did not act as Israel did. So the LORD established the kingdom in his control and all Judah brought tribute to Jehoshaphat and he had great riches and honor, and he took great pride in the ways of the LORD and again removed the high places and the Asherim from Judah.” By contrast King Ahab of Israel was an evil man. I Kings 16:29-30 says of him, “Now Ahab the son of Omri became king over Israel in the thirty-eighth year of Asa king of Judah, and Ahab the son of Omri reigned over Israel in Samaria twenty-two years. Ahab the son of Omri did evil in the sight of the LORD more than all who were before him.”
Ahab asked Jehoshaphat to ally with him in war against Ramoth-Gilead and Jehoshaphat asked him to inquire of the LORD. Four hundred prophets paraded before the two kings and all gave the thumbs up to go to war. But Jehoshaphat said, “Is there not yet a prophet of the LORD here that we may inquire of him?” (2Chron.18:6) Notice how one man of God stood against 401 people and protested for the truth. Ahab said there is one prophet of the LORD and his name is Miciah. This great prophet was not intimidated by Ahab or his henchman. They told Miciah what to say and he told them to take a hike, he would only tell them what the LORD told him. 2Chron.18:13, But Micaiah said, “As the LORD lives, what my God says, that I will speak.” So Miciah told them that Ahab was going to die and that the Lord sent a deceiving spirit. 2Chron.18:22, “Now therefore, behold, the LORD has put a deceiving spirit in the mouth of these your prophets, for the LORD has proclaimed disaster against you.”
Ahab disobeyed the LORD and did not believe Miciah so he went to his death. Today the governors of these states who violate the constitution and protect our enemies are part of the judgment God has sent to our land. God has blinded them to the truth and they are advancing the day when our enemies will attack the land. This judgment of God is so evident to me and it is hard for me to see that the preachers of our land are not talking about this more than they do.
James Comey, former FBI Director, is an example of this sinful pattern in our country. He is deceived and a deceiver. Did you know that Comey was connected to the Clinton criminal network from the days of Whitewater? Comey was Deputy Special Counsel who investigated the Whitewater scandal in which Hillary Clinton made a lot of money off of shady and illegal real estate deals. This happened when Bill Clinton was governor of Arkansas, many people were arrested and charged with 40 crimes. Comey acknowledged that Hillary obstructed the investigation and destroyed evidence but he never charged her. His lame excuse was she did not intend to do anything bad. What! This violation of law continued under the Clintons and they always had cover because of people like Comey. Comey continued this behavior in dealing with the Clintons while he was director of the FBI. The Clintons could get away with anything.
Now Hillary breaks federal law, misuses top secret information and Comey made excuses for her again. Before Comey became FBI director he worked with the Clinton Global Initiative and made a lot of money through 17 contracts given to him by none other than Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. You see what I mean—corruption, lying, stealing, bribery, all part of the Clinton operations. The incestuous pay for play relationship between Clintons and corporations was part of Comeys job to protect. And protect he did!
Now comes the story of Seth Rich. He is the leaker of the emails to Wikeleaks of Hillary and Podesta that came out during the campaign. If he is the leaker, than they cannot pin it on Trump. Seth Rich was murdered and that is being covered up. Wikileaks made this announcement, “Wikileaks has decided to issue a 20 thousand dollar reward for information leading to the conviction for the murder of DNC staffer Seth Rich.” The police said it was a robbery and they are not investigating this murder. Fox news did a report called, “Seth Rich murder, what we know and what we do not know.” A private investigator is working on the case and has reported that Seth Rich was the leak in the DNC, and that the police will not open a case or investigate, they are part of the cover up. A former detective hired by a third party named Rob Wheeler stated that they cannot find Rich’s laptop and that the FBI and Police will not say where it is. Coverup! Wheeler also was told that they were to stand down on the investigation.
CNN tried to discredit the Fox News story because they are part of the charade. They are bought in on destroying Trump. They spread lies and deception. Tell a lie often and make it the biggest lie and people will believe it. This is what the communists and Nazis believed. Now it is what the press and the Democrats believe. When you live in a culture of lies, you are under the judgment of God.
Pray for the churches of America that God will give us a heart to repent and pray for the nation. We are the ones that God will use to give hope, peace and the good news of the gospel. Christians by nature of the power of the Holy Spirit are warriors, God has trained our hands, hearts, and souls for spiritual war! Plead with God to cause revival to come over the land. Join me next week in fasting for the land. Will you choose a day next week that you can fast and pray for the nation? I will be praying on this and fasting also. Thank you.

This week I want to do a biblical teaching on the importance of Israel and Jerusalem in the Bible regarding the end times. The Bible is a Jewish book that sets the stage for God’s redemptive plan. The plan of God is worked out through covenants that were made with the nation of Israel. These covenants are very clear and are full of minute details that God thought were very important. These thoughts are precious concerning history and the end of the story because God intends to bring His kingdom to the earth. God took the time to reveal to us many wonderful things regarding the end and they are in the context of His work with the nation of Israel. It would be a strange thing indeed if the prophets believed that God was kidding and was never going to set Jerusalem as the capital of the world or have only one king over the whole world who ruled from Jerusalem. Prophecy is much neglected because too many use a mistaken system of spiritualizing and allegorizing clear and plain prophecies.

I believe that the Jews shall continue to be gathered together in the land of Israel. This process started in the 1800’s, led to the establishment of the nation of Israel on May 14th, 1948, and will continue until the Messiah Jesus returns in glory. The four covenants that are central to this teaching are the Abrahamic covenant, the Mosaic covenant, the Davidic covenant, and the New covenant. I am committed to the literal sense of Old Testament teaching regarding prophecies of future events and the historical context in which they were given. The nations of the world should not only heed these prophecies but should cooperate with God in the completion of these prophecies.

For instance, Jeremiah 31:10 says, Hear the word of the LORD, O nations, And declare in the coastlands afar off, And say, “He who scattered Israel will gather him And keep him as a shepherd keeps his flock.” This text is a great summary of what God is doing in history. Notice that God has scattered Israel in history. This scattering started with the Assyrian empire going to war with Israel. The prophet Hosea specifically warned the nation that the Assyrian nation was coming and that God would use her to destroy and scatter His people. Hosea 11:5-7, “They will not return to the land of Egypt; But Assyria—he will be their king Because they refused to return to Me. The sword will whirl against their cities, And will demolish their gate bars And consume them because of their counsels So My people are bent on turning from Me. Though they call them to the One on high,
None at all exalts Him.” Notice that God sent prophets to Israel to warn them and then His promise came true.

Isaiah was very specific in his prophecies regarding the war Assyria would bring. Isaiah 7 and 8 tell very clearly that Assyria is coming and will not only destroy Israel but also Syria (Damascus). 7:17-18 says, “The LORD will bring on you, on your people, and on your father’s house such days as have never come since the day that Ephraim separated from Judah, the king of Assyria. In that day the LORD will whistle for the fly that is in the remotest part of the rivers of Egypt and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria.” Notice that God brought Assyria to Israel and destroyed her. It was a terrible thing and was described as God whistling for him to come. God is in charge! In 8:4 God is very specific and ties the prophecy to the birth and growth of Isaiah’s son. “For before the boy knows how to cry out ‘My father’ or ‘My mother,’ the wealth of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria will be carried away before the king of Assyria.” This specific prophecy is typical of prophecies regarding the end times, they are full of minute details that God wants us to consider and meditate on.

Also, God scattered Judah by bringing the nation of Babylon. Prophets gave specific prophecies regarding this and they came true literally. Consider Jeremiah and his word to his nation in Jer.20:4, “For thus says the LORD, ‘Behold, I am going to make you a terror to yourself and to all your friends; and while your eyes look on, they will fall by the sword of their enemies. So I will give over all Judah to the hand of the king of Babylon, and he will carry them away as exiles to Babylon and will slay them with the sword.” In Jer.25:11 God says, ‘This whole land will be a desolation and a horror, and these nations will serve the king of Babylon seventy years.” Notice how specific God is on the years that Israel would be in captivity? It happened as God said, Daniel was in Babylon and started praying as God would start to move a remnant back to the land as He promised.
God took a remnant back to the land and this also was prophesied. Ezra and Nehemiah are specific books regarding God fulfilling this promise. The book of Esther shows us that God is still work on behalf of His people Israel as Esther is still in Persia. God used this time to prepare Israel for the Messiah to come.

God promised that Rome would come and destroy the nation and Jerusalem. This happened in 70 AD. Jesus talked about it in Luke 21:24, “and they will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be led captive into all the nations; and Jerusalem will be trampled under foot by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.” This prophecy is consistent with what the Lord taught us in Daniel 2 and 7 regarding this kingdom Rome.

So we can see that the scattering phase of the prophecies have all been fulfilled in real time and real history. If the scattering phase has been fulfilled this way, the gathering phase will also be in real time and real history. Notice again that Jer.31:10 says to the nations, He who scattered Israel would gather him! God promises to gather Israel in very specific ways that are startling. Please meditate on this great truth, if God is going to gather them, they had to stay a people unique even as they were scattered to many nations. Is it not wonderful that God kept the Jews as a distinct and separate people all of these years in spite of the attempt to wipe them off the map.

Isaiah 11: 11-12, “Then it will happen on that day that the Lord Will again recover the second time with His hand The remnant of His people, who will remain, From Assyria, Egypt, Pathros, Cush, Elam, Shinar, Hamath, And from the islands of the sea. And He will lift up a standard for the nations and assemble the banished ones of Israel, and will gather the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.”

Ezekiel 37:21-22, “Say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “Behold, I will take the sons of Israel from among the nations where they have gone, and I will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king will be king for all of them; and they will no longer be two nations and no longer be divided into two kingdoms.”

Amos 9:14-15, “Also I will restore the captivity of My people Israel, And they will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them; They will also plant vineyards and drink their wine, And make gardens and eat their fruit. “I will also plant them on their land, And they will not again be rooted out from their land Which I have given them,” Says the LORD your God.”

Micah 4:6-7, In that day,” declares the LORD, “I will assemble the lame And gather the outcasts, Even those whom I have afflicted. “I will make the lame a remnant
And the outcasts a strong nation, And the LORD will reign over them in Mount Zion From now on and forever.”

Zephaniah 3:20, “At that time I will bring you in, Even at the time when I gather you together; Indeed, I will give you renown and praise Among all the peoples of the earth, When I restore your fortunes before your eyes,” Says the LORD.

Zechariah 10:6, “I will strengthen the house of Judah, And I will save the house of Joseph, And I will bring them back, Because I have had compassion on them;
And they will be as though I had not rejected them, For I am the LORD their God and I will answer them.

As the Jews have been gathered from all of the nations they have come back to the land in an unconverted state. The scriptures are clear that when they are there they will suffer conflict with the nations and eventually the Anti-Christ. The future glory of Jerusalem is tied to the return of Jesus the Messiah. It is the duty of the Gentile nations to assist Israel in her return to the land. There is neither Queen, King, President, Pope, nor Emperors who can stop this process. I hope that we can find ways that will support the return with a blessing and not a curse. JC Ryle said in his excellent book, “Coming Events and Present Duties” ‘Remember that every chapter and verse you read in your Bible you owe under God to Israel.’
The churches and the nations have put up many stumbling blocks in the way of Israel coming back to their land. In the churches there exists the heresy of replacement theology, rationalistic and liberal approaches to the Bible, outright hostility towards Jews and Israel that makes it hard for the evangelical church to convince Jews that we love them. The UN and her many subsidiaries curse Israel almost every day. In Joel 3:1-2 God makes it clear that His desire is to gather nations and judge them for what they have done to Israel. This day is coming very quickly, are you ready?
