Prophecy Update: Friday Oct.22, 2016

Reuters is reporting that the USA is considering direct military action against the Russians and Syrians in Syria. Russia has also issued a warning to the Americans; they would use their S-300 and S-400 missile defense systems. This system is powerful enough to knock out our planes. The US press is not covering this very much and Russia is making it a priority in their press.
Russia had a massive civil defense drill that involved putting 40 million people in nuclear bunkers.
Russia has issued orders for her people to come home.

Reuters reported, “Vladimir Zhirinovsky, a flamboyant veteran lawmaker known for his fiery rhetoric, told Reuters in an interview that Trump was the only person able to de-escalate dangerous tensions between Moscow and Washington. By contrast, Trump’s Democratic rival Hillary Clinton could spark WW3, said Zhirinovsky who received a top state award from Putin after his pro-Kremlin Liberal Democratic Party of Russia came third in Russia’s parliamentary election last month.”

It is true that the Russians want Hillary to lose because they have been saying for over a year that she would start a war with Russia. The Russians have said that they cannot negotiate with Hillary. This is being reported as Russian meddling in the election because they have said this about Trump and have been releasing emails through proxies.

The problem is that Obama may start that war before she is president.

The Royal Air Force of Britain has given the green light to shoot down Russian planes over Syria according to Yahoo news. The Sun is reporting (Oct.18, 2016) “The Russians Are Coming, Vladimir Putin’s nuclear warships pictured steaming towards the English Channel as Royal Navy prepares to scramble fleet.” The Russians are dong military drills off the coast of Scotland before heading to the Mediterranean Sea and the British are afraid that they have other motives. What do they do when the Russian fleet passes through the English Channel? Putin is saber rattling and it has people nervous.

The problem for Britain and America is that the strategic nuclear forces of both countries have gotten smaller in the last ten years and the Russians have made theirs larger. We have not even updated or modernized our fleet of nukes and Russia has done both. Consider the fact that the Russians have introduced a new intercontinental ballistic missile which is cutting edge and has 15 independent warheads that can target 15 different cities. Their new Kalina subs are black hole subs like America—they cannot be detected. This claim matches the claims of the US and we used to be the only ones with this ability.

A Russian envoy said that tensions with the US are probably worst since 1973. (ABC news) Warnings of war have been flying around for two weeks. Vice President Joe Biden said that we were going to attack Russia with a massive computer hack. US News and World Report online edition has an article called “Is Russia Getting Ready for War? They note that Putin has ordered all the relatives of officials abroad to come home to Russia. Russian Lt. Gen. Evgeny Buzhinsky said, “you want a confrontation you’ll get one. But it won’t be a confrontation that doesn’t harm the interests of the United States. You want a confrontation and you will get one everywhere. Putin sees it as full scale confrontation on all fronts.”
President Obama was asked about the tension with China and his answer shows his passive attitude about other nations: “I have been consistent since I have been president in believing that a productive, candid, relationship between China and the US is vital not just to our two countries but to world peace and security. We are a lot better off with a China that is confident and secure it is not a zero sum game. What is true though is that they have a tendency to view some of the immediate regional issues and disputes as a zero sum game. With respect to the South China Sea, rather than operate under international law, norms and rules, they think they are the biggest kids around here and were going to push aside the Philippines and Vietnam but it does not mean that were trying to act against China we just want them to be partners with us and where they break out of international rules and norms we will hold them to account.”

This attitude from the President is consistent and causes him to take these actions: First, he moves military assets around the world to show that we are strong. Second, he asks others to take the brunt of the fight, threat, burden, but does not activate any American troops to do what he wants others to do. Third, he complains excessively that others need to follow his view of international rules. Fourth, this complaining shows people like China, Russia, and Iran that America will do nothing of substance. This blindness of the president is the cause for the threats of war today. China knows that America will do nothing of substance to stop their takeover of the South China Sea and so they keep building up forces and taking over more islands, property, and authority. Russia knows that all Obama will do is more sanctions. America moves troops into NATO countries but Putin knows that they do not intend to fight—just advise others to fight like we do in Syria and Iraq. Russia learned from experience that America is a paper tiger. First, they took over Crimea and the response was words and sanctions. Second, they took over eastern Ukraine and America did nothing. Third, Russia moved into Syria to support and protect Assad from Obama. Obama talks, funds Islamic groups who fight Assad, but does nothing to actually effect a change in Syria. Russia knew that America would do nothing of substance so they took over and call the shots in Syria. This week John Kerry said that more sanctions are on the way for Russia.
Turkey made an important decision, dump America and turn to Russia. They can read the tea leaves so they now have an energy pact with Russia. Putin sat down with Erdogan of Turkey in Istanbul and carved out a strategic energy pact for a pipeline into Europe. This new relationship with Russia affords Turkey to turn from America. Obama loses again because he was outsmarted and outplayed by Putin. I always wondered how Turkey gets on the same side with Russia so that the prophecy of Ezekiel 38-39 is fulfilled—it just happened and we can thank the President of the USA for that blunder. How is Turkey still committed to NATO under these circumstances?
Pay attention to a place called Kaliningrad which is sandwiched between Lithuania and Poland. Russia has deployed Nukes to Kaliningrad and this has many worried. This is an existential threat to all of Europe but especially to the Baltic States and Poland. Under the Administration of Pres. Obama, the US has a worst relationship with NATO and Russia. Obama has a philosophy that is globalist in nature and Russia is run by a nationalist who resists globalism. Europe now realizes that they cannot trust Obama or America and they are turning to nationalism. They do not want war with Russia. I fear that Russia will take over the Baltic states and NATO will do nothing. Certainly, America will do nothing under Obama but talk and sanctions. The three Baltic states; Lithuania, Estonia, and Latvia are already isolated and it is just a matter of time before they are taken over.
Turkey Deputy Prime Minister has warned, “If this proxy war continues, then Russia and America will begin world war 3.” The Arab Spring was orchestrated by President Obama years ago. I remember President Obama speech in Egypt (2009) when he forced President Mubarak to put the Muslim Brotherhood on the front row. The President said, “I’ve come here to Cairo to seek a new beginning between the US and Muslims around the world, one based on mutual interest and mutual respect and one based on truth that America and Islam are not exclusive and need not be in competition.” The President put America and Islam in the same category. Then he did all he could to depose Pres. Mubarak and engineer the takeover of Egypt for the Muslim Brotherhood! It has all gone south for him since then. Likewise, all is going south in Syria and Iraq.
Russia’s partner in crime in Syria is Iran and they just announced that they are launching war drills because America broke the nuke deal. This comes on the heels of the Houthis launching missiles at our navy. As President Obama claims peace, peace, the world is facing war, war!
Pray for peace and against war that seems imminent.

America is in the midst of a fog. I have been working hard the last two weeks to establish our ministry with students. The beginning of the semester demands that I take time to meet freshman and renew relationships with our returning students. The fog of work clears when you have clear goals and intentional principles.
Too bad America does not have clear goals and lives in a fog of relativism.

Consider the Iranian deal which gives to our enemies and hurts our own people. Our government gave Iran 1.7 billion dollars for some supposed wrongs from the Iranian revolution in 1979. This same government prevents our own people from collecting the money they won after suing and going after the Iranian government for the wrongs that Iran did to our own people. Our government has a habit of helping our enemies and hurting our own people. In 2001 1,300 hundred people brought a lawsuit against the Iranian government for their terrorism and killing of Americans. They won the suit and Iran owes these people 1.7 billion dollars. The judgment could mean that Iran pays these people 2 billion dollars. They will never see the money.

A New York law firm is blocking the ruling against Iran and preventing our citizens from receiving justice. The 1.7 billion given to the Iranians should have been given to the victims of Iranian terror!

When a nation crosses the four “I” judgments, idolatry, immorality, killing innocents, and Israel, that nation becomes blind to right and wrong as America is today. We call right wrong and wrong right, we call good evil and evil good, to our shame and destruction. No wonder we have those calling for open anarchy and chaos in our streets. The solution is as old as Genesis 3, repentance and confession of sin.

Our government has done the same thing to those who were attacked by the Palestinian Authority, they have not allowed Americans to sue! The American government is there to protect her citizens, but in this case they have failed their obligation. Saudi Arabia has killed and maimed Americans for years through their terrorist groups whom they support, nothing is done. When will it end? Pray for revival today, ask God to wake America up to her sins and to repent.

Israel Bashing

At the Olympics a Jewish wrestler won a match against an Egyptian wrestler. The Egyptian wrestler refused to shake his hand, simply because he was Jewish. One report on the incident said, “If you want the short answer for why the Arab world is sliding into the abyss, look no further than this little incident. It did itself in chiefly through its long abiding and all-consuming hatred of Israel and of Jews.” (Fred Stevens Opinion piece) Scott Anderson in New York Magazine said, “Hatred of Israel is treated like sand in Arabia, a given of the landscape.” According to John Haller in his weekly update, in 1948 there were approximately 1,402,000 Jews in 16 Muslim, Middle Eastern nations and today that number is 26,150.

In my book, I make mention of the fact that many nations are judged because of their treatment of Jews. As Jihadists have preached first the Saturday people then the Sunday people, those nations that support and harbor such sentiments are judged by God. “A historical phenomenon, this is not unique. In a 2005 essay in Commentary, historian Paul Johnson noted wherever antisemitism took hold, social and political decline almost invariably followed.” France is suffering this truth right now. America is next!

The Evangelical Lutheran Church has once again voted to curse Jews. The boycott, divestment, and sanction movement has grown in many Christian denominations in the USA. This movement follows a familiar pattern in history. First attack the Jews economically and then physically. Many universities in our nation are on the BDS band wagon—God will punish and is punishing our nation for this travesty of Justice! BDS is hatred of Jews and attacks the Lord Jesus who came from the loins of David, the great Jewish King. The hater will always suffer more than the one who is hated. Hatred is like that, it kills the hater. Antisemitism is hatred and it leads to the judgment of God.

Israel should be held up as the type of nation that we want in the Middle East! They are hardworking, prosperous, giving, blessed, and seeking peace. Israel has its problems as many nations do, but they are winners and America loves a winner. The average American looks at what Israel has done and is amazed at their perseverance and amazing ability to accomplish great feats. The elitist Americans in our government and universities are infected by hatred towards Jews and prefer Jihadists in our midst. God help us, deliver us from these people.

Prophecy Update Aug.19, 2016

Russia and Turkey and Iran are getting closer. According to Sputnik news “Washington is trying to deter any possible alliance between Russia, Turkey, and Iran on Syria: if the three countries unite their efforts against the terrorists, the jihadists will easily be defeated and the US will thereby lose its ability to destabilize the region, Iranian political analyst and former journalist Hassan Hanizadeh told Sputnik.” This article is from May 2016. On July 21st Sputnik news reported in an article called, “What to make of Erdogan’s Proposal for a Turkish-Iranian-Russian Alliance” Iranian and Turkish leaders agreed that “global forces are not satisfied with the idea of tranquility in the region, there are also some superpowers trying to destabilize things.” Of course they mean the United States and her allies. Svobodnaya Press columnist Svetlana Gomzikova wrote that, “it was not difficult to guess that Rouhani was referring to the United States, which has left quite a mark on the region over the last two decades.”

Prophetically, this should make Christians hear the hoof beats of Ezekiel 38+39! I was thinking that after the coup in Turkey that things did not seem right. The coup seemed planned for a different purpose, mainly the takeover of the country by Erdogan. He has used the coup to entrench himself as the ultimate leader, crushing all of his enemies. This man has become a dictator and has crushed the vision of a secular Turkey. What Ataturk started after WW1 is now over.

Ezekiel 38+39 teaches that Turkey is part of the alliance that attacks Israel along with Iran and Russia. What is strange about this alliance today is that Turkey has not endorsed Bashir Assad as the true leader of Syria. If they go along with the Russians and Iranians on solving the Syrian war, than Turkey will need to endorse Assad or the Russians and Iran will need to choose another leader for Syria with the Turks. It is important to follow this story over the next month. As the Russians, Iranians, and Turks start meeting over the next month, what will happen to NATO? What will happen with Incirlik Airbase?

The Russians are reporting that they are going to be using Incirlik Airbase and the Americans are going to be pushed out? This development would bring a lot of tension between Turkey and NATO and America. The three political parties of Turkey united behind Erdogan the dictator, I think that it is not a show of unity as the press is presenting to us, but a show of power by Erdogan. The LA Times wrote an editorial stating that we need to get our nukes out of Incirlik immediately. As Erdogan met with Putin to restore ties militarily and economically, it was a complete shock that they are willing to do this with Iran.

Iran is Shia and Turkey is Sunni, there uniting would be an amazing development. Debka file reported today that Russian planes were shipping to a new air base in Iran a missile defense system. The closer Turkey comes to Russia they will also come closer to Iran. I am so stunned by this development. The Americans are also very surprised that Russia is using Iran to launch attacks into Syria against ISIS. The State Department complained that the Russians have violated UN Resolution 2231 which states that a state cannot sell arms to Iran and Russia told America to take a hike. If Russia succeeds in kicking America out of Incirlik, turning it over to the Russians, the Russians would have effectively kicked the Americans out of the Middle East.

Our president has been cornered by his desire to destroy ISIS. The Russians have used the desire to destroy ISIS as the reason for all of the cooperation between Turkey, Russia, and Iran. For President Obama to be against this unity would make him against destroying ISIS. This chess move by Putin and Iran has cornered Americans and others who have used ISIS for their own purposes. ISIS has been used by the Saudis and others to fight the Shia/Sunni war. For America to join the Turks and Russians would mean that they will now have to follow through and destroy ISIS. I do not believe that will happen.

The Stimson Center released a report called, “US Nuclear Weapons in Turkey at risk of Seizure by Terrorists, Hostile Forces.” America is considering moving the nukes and I have a question, why do we still have nukes in Turkey? The cold war has been over for 20 years—there was no need to have America nukes there. I am very suspicious of why they are there. As America folds up its tent in the Middle East, Russia is expanding rapidly its forces. 40,000 Russian troops have moved to the border of Ukraine and seem ready to attack. If America moves the nukes to Romania, Russia could seize the nukes as part of their attack against Ukraine. Pray that God will bring peace and keep men from getting so angry that they use the nukes. Read Ezekiel 38+39 and pray for God’s will to be done.

Russia and NATO are moving closer to war. The last two years have brought the Russians and the Western countries closer to conflict. The reason for this is twofold. First, the Russians have made moves to support the civil war in the Ukraine as they took control of the Crimea where they have a naval base. Secondly, the west claims that Russia is fomenting the move for taking over more nations that are on the Russian border and within their influence.
For the last two years, Russia has supported and participated in the conquering of eastern Ukraine and the Crimea. When the Russians took over Crimea, the West confronted them with economic sanctions which have not deterred the Russians. Then the west claimed that Russian troops were involved in the hostile takeover of eastern Ukraine. This exacerbated the conflict with the West and has caused the United States to further expand military aid, arms, and personnel to deploy to Ukraine and other nations such as Poland and Latvia. Russia claims that the USA has pushed for the Ukraine to join NATO and that has caused the rift. Russia claims that it was responding to American adventurism and America claims that Russia is trying to take over nations that were once part of the Soviet Union.
The Russians moved into Syria which has put Russian military operations in direct conflict with American and NATO military operations. They have not fired at one another yet, but the possibility of that happening is very high. The reason for this is that the Russians are bombing Muslim forces which America and NATO support. The Americans and NATO are bombing forces which Russia supports. The two are in opposition to one another as they are in Eastern Europe.
War exists between the USA and Russia now as they oppose one another in both Ukraine and Syria. Overlapping operations in both Syria and the Ukraine are bringing the tension higher and higher. On June 29th, Dr. Michael Carpenter, Deputy Assistant for the Secretary of Defense was before a congressional committee and said, “We are providing $600 million dollars to the Ukraine for its war with Russia, we are training 5 army battalions, 1 Special Forces battalion, and have trained 6 companies to fight Russia.” In Syria, Russia bombs free Syrian army positions and America bombs pro Assad forces; this conflict is now getting close to a direct conflict between American and Russian forces.
The likelihood of war between Russia and America increased this week. The Russians want to be an equal partner in the world with America so they have increased the threats. The threats include the increase of simulated attacks as Russian planes buzz our navy, the Russian Navy approaches our ships in very provocative ways, and Russian submarines approach our shores. This week that threat grew because Putin fired some military officers for their refusal to fire on the Americans. In an article by the British Daily Mail, “Putin sacks every commander in his Baltic fleet in Stalin style purge after top brass refused to follow orders to confront Western ships.” Russia also raised the risk of war by rattling the nuclear saber to get America to back off their stance on Ukraine, Crimea, and Syria. So far, America is not backing off and Russia continues to claim that America has no right to sanction them over Ukraine.
NATO is on the Russian border and it has sanctioned Russia hurting her economy. War is in the air for Russia because it would increase the oil prices, the main source of money for Russia. Putin went in to seclusion and ordered military maneuvers to practice nuclear war. These threats only increase the likelihood of a mistake happening. Putin is in a good spot of weakening NATO because NATO has no stomach for war. The Brexit vote has hurt NATO and has caused a rift in Europe. The EU is very weak and that impacts NATO, without America, NATO cannot stand.
The most shocking news is that America does nothing to stop the Muslim takeover of Europe while doing everything they can to stop a takeover of Eastern Europe by Russia? America has demanded the immediate departure of two Russian diplomats from Washington D.C. and Russia has demanded the departure of two American diplomats from Moscow. As the tension rises between Russia and other nations, Russia has issued an ominous warning: we are willing to go to nuclear war with America and NATO.
On June 1st, Richard Shirreff, NATO’s Deputy Supreme Allied Commander for Europe in 2011-2014 published a fiction book called, “2017 War With Russia” and it had the subtitle, “All Out War Between NATO and Russia an Urgent Warning from Senior Military Command.” It includes the scenario that Russia just invaded Latvia and how NATO would respond. I read a book in the 1980’s called “The Third World War” by General Sir John Hackett on the invasion of Europe by the Soviet Union. It was a fictional look at what would happen in such a war and more of a study than a good fiction book. I am very happy that nuclear war never broke out during the cold war. Now we must pray that nuclear war does not break out during this conflict. As Putin warns the world that nuclear war will break out because of what NATO is doing, he also does not try to lessen the likelihood of that possibility. Each side is doing things that provoke the other side. If war does break out, most likely it will be conventional. Pray!
War and rumors of war are prophesied to plague the earth. That has marked the last century. In light of the four I judgments, our nation is in great peril of entering a war which may be inevitable. What kind of people do we need to be in order to face such a terrible scenario? We need to be Godly and repent of our nations sins. Please pray and repent of all of those things which are keeping you from walking with the King of Kings. Love each other and do those things which bring peace!

This summer has seen a rash of high profile murders. The press is unusually interested in a group called Black Lives Matter. I am grateful that all lives matter because we are all made in the image of God. Unfortunately, the press has left the impression that some lives do not matter. The unfortunate group of people who do not matter are the police.

The leaders of Black Lives Matter have recently made it their cheer, “What do we want? Dead Cops!” This type of cheer leads to violence and anarchy. The nation has faced anarchist groups before. On Sept. 6, 1901, an anarchist named Leon Czolgosz, assassinated President McKinley in New York. Anarchists believe that the government is unnecessary and they can do with out anyone making the laws. In this case, they can do without the police.

Unfortunately for anarchists, God has made absolute laws that will not go away. When someone breaks God’s laws, they will be judged and punished. That is a fact. In this case, some think that they can spill innocent blood and not face consequences. God will judge these people, and consequences they will face. Whether it is police killing an innocent person or the anarchists who kill cops to appease their wrath, they will all  face the Judge of the Universe.

Man cannot live without God, the creator of the Universe. The Creator does not suffer evil very well. He judged the whole earth one day when the flood took everyone away except Noah and his family. We are facing a day when God is going to judge the world when the wrath of the Lamb will be pored out on earth. Repent now and choose life, give your life to Jesus the King of Kings!
